What you expect from such an experience is perfectly clear: a hike with alpacas through a rustic forest. But what we were allowed to experience was so much more. You were allowed to be part of this great alpaca family for a few hours and were taken on a wonderful journey that you will certainly never forget. The two hosts Mia and Simon are incredibly warm people. You immediately feel comfortable and welcome. The forest you walk through is just magical and you are all alone because it has been privatized. The boys (the alpacas) are so incredibly lovable and funny. You learn from Mia everything you should know and more, for example how different the characters are. At the end you can visit Mia in her studio and learn everything about the yarn of the alpacas, how it is processed and knitted. Finally, you sit together with tea or coffee and self baked muffins and can talk to the hosts for as long as you want. No question goes unanswered. What an amazing experience. An absolute must do!

It was the best alpaca experience ever. Simon and Mia are lovely peopel and the alpacas are just amazing. We highly recommend the tour. Mia is also selling her selfmade hats, scarfs and more. We had the best time.

The most beautiful location! Stunning views and the walk through the forest was stunning. We walked with buddy and pooka, they were so calm it was a magical experience. The most gentle of animals that will leave you missing them when you leave. We had a great time learning about how the fleece was used and made Very interesting. The owners were lovely and the tea and coffee was a great touch. Would highly recommend. Trecking through that forest with that heard of alpaca will leave a lasting impression.

Beautiful place with amazing views. We greatly enjoyed our alpaca trek. If you stop by to sleep over or just trek with the alpacas, say high to Pluto for me. He was my very fun companion.

Stayed here when doing the Ring of Beara sportive. Wonderful place to stay. Very well stocked AirBnB, beautifully comfortable with lovely Alpacas as company! Saw deer, heard a cuckoo and had a great chat with the owners. The views are so spectacular - the photos don't do them justice. Highly recommended.

Everything was absolutely beautiful. Cottage house is cozy and very clean. There’s also everything you need as shampoo, towels, hair dryer, even tampons. View is stunning. Alpacas will make your day, so as the owners- Mia and Simon. Very sweet and warm people, passionate about animals and knitting. It was one of the best experiences. We will keep coming back for sure. Really enjoyed our alpaca trekking today. Simon and Mia were super friendly and knowledgeable and you can tell they love each of the alpacas and were able to tell us what kind of personality each Alpaca had. The demo afterwards in Mias workshop was very interesting and you can tell she really enjoys her work. I purchased a headband kit as the alpaca yarn is super soft. Can't wait to make it Also the the tea and muffins after our trek were delicious. I would highly recommend to anybody to book.

Mia and Simon are the owners and they were wonderful and make you feel so welcome. Emma was our guide who treks a few times a week to help out and it was a great time. I chose this tour for a reason despite options for cheaper tours, and it did not disappoint. I wanted a trek through a magical feeling forest, and that is what I got on top of some amazing views from their property. I got to trek with Dougal which was conveniently the alpaca I wanted to walk and he was such a good boy. All the alapacas on our trek were adorable and well behaved. You even get to give them some treats! At the end, Mia shows you how to process the alpaca wool and puts out teas, coffee, and yummy home made muffins to enjoy while you watch. You can even purchase locally made goodies such as hats Mia knitted herself or merchandise from other small business owners. I hope to return some day and I highly recommend!!

Such a nice and delightfully experience... Mia led us through a magical forest among with Capuccino, Smudge, and Noodles, and we had the time of our lives. The alpacas are fluffy, well-behaved, and very gentle, and Mia went out of her way to explain everything and make it easy and interesting for us. We'll try and come back for her BnB! Super recommended experience!!!
