Nore
Valley
campsite
So
where
do
I
start?
The
site:
The
main
site
is
quite
small
and
the
pitch’s
are
all
on
top
of
each
other.
I
mean
literally…..
we
actually
had
somebody
else’s
guide
ropes
in
the
porch
of
our
tent.
The
pitch’s
are
just
not
big
enough
for
a
large
family
tent
and
when
we
asked
to
move
we
were
told
that
was
not
an
option
(deal
with
it)
There
is
very
much
the
attitude
and
feeling
that
they
just
want
your
money
and
they
really
don’t
care
about
much
else.
Everything
on
the
site
costs
money!
Especially
the
kids
activities
like
Mini
golf
or
tractor
rides,
from
the
moment
we
arrived
the
vampires
were
on
our
door.
The
amenities:
The
facilities
(showers,
toilets,
kitchen
etc…)
are
largely
out
dated,
not
adequate
for
the
amount
of
guests
and
tbh
just
unclean
and
pretty
disgusting.
The
shop
has
the
resemblance
of
a
post
communist
country
store,
if
you
were
hoping
for
supplies
other
than
a
few
sweets
and
ice
creams
then
you
will
be
disappointed.
The
site
is
open
to
the
public
during
the
day
and
the
toilets
are
used
by
everyone
all
day
long
and
are
not
cleaned
regularly.
There
is
also
litter
everywhere,
sweet
wrappers
and
cigarette
butts
etc,
and
the
community
areas
are
filthy.
There
just
seems
to
be
a
real
lack
of
care
and
attention.
The
entire
5
days
we
were
at
the
campsite
I
never
saw
any
staff
members
come
around
cleaning
up
and
checking
on
the
tents.
There
was
also
no
water
on
the
entire
site
for
a
whole
day
with
out
any
prior
warning
or
apology
for
the
staff!
The
noise:
If
you
are
looking
for
a
nice
relaxing
and
quiet
campsite
then
this
is
definitely
not
for
you!!!
The
site
curfew
is
apparently
10pm
but
this
is
more
like
11pm
and
doesn’t
seem
to
be
enforced
in
any
way.
There
are
kids
running
wild
all
over
the
site
and
in
between
the
tents
with
what
seems
to
be
zero
adult
supervision.
We
tried
to
get
our
4
year
old
to
sleep
by
9pm
(which
is
late
for
us)
but
this
proved
impossible
because
of
the
noise.
The
site
is
very
loud
and
antisocial!
Then
the
industrial
farm
machinery
starts
at
10:30pm
until
2:30am
in
the
neighbouring
fields,
so
loud
it
was
like
the
combine
was
in
the
tent.
On
a
positive
note
the
petting
zoo
and
farm
animals
are
a
brief
bonus
and
this
was
great
for
the
kids
but
no
amount
of
fluffy
bunnies
and
newborn
lambs
can
save
this
place!!
