    I usually love Lowes but today this one fail short. Said they had a Google hub on sale and treads they have one in stock...after the lady took my own phone away with a picture of the back tag (btw NEVER take a person's personal phone put of their hands without direct permission) she looked for about a minute could not find where they were supose to be at the front then said sorry we don't have any). Then on check out tried to charge double the price of my light bulbs also supose to be on sale. I luckily took a pic of the price and paid attention on checkout or I would have gotten the short end of the stick there too. They have things on sale then charge full price! Happend multiple times at Lowes. Not happy about that, buyer beware.

    I want to brag on an associate of Lowe's Hardware in Morganton NC. Lori Miller is a great asset for your store. She went above and beyond helping me find materials I needed for a project that was on a deadline and was within 3 days of needing to be complete. She checked the computer for the materials at other store locations and called the stores to have them put their eyes on the materials, so I did not drive all the way there and not be available. She also asked them to pull the materials for me and have it at the customer service desk so I could go in and pick it up. Thank you, Lori Miller. I hope Lowe's is taking care of you!

    I am impressed beyond words by the excellent sales help of the gentlemen who sold me a mixed Maytag washer-dryer set on the early afternoon of 7-29-2022. I can't recall his name but he was able to recall my name when I spoke with him just now. I had to return the Maytag washer because it had an unusual whine during the wash cycle and there was no ability to adjust the water level. I called Lowe's immediately and asked to have the washer picked up. I decided to purchase a GE model instead and so far, I love it! The pickup and delivery were scheduled for the same day and it couldn't have worked out any better than it did. The only frustrating thing has been that it's been difficult to reach the management by phone today. I wanted to make sure the washer that was picked up has been credited back to my payment method. When using a major credit card that isn't a Lowe's card, Lowes has a return policy that allows only a 48 hour window for returns on large appliances. I was at doctor's appointments all week so Saturday was the 1st day open for them to pick up, so I was told a manager would have to do the refund.

    Told that I would not have to prime front door if I went with the same sheen as before (semi-gloss). So I painted my front door. Paint dried. Now paint PEELS off easily like plastic. For expert paint advice go to a paint store! Now I will have to sand off all the new paint, I just purchased, prime door, then paint AGAIN. Lowe's also does NOT have enough employees to help customers.

    The worse visit I have ever had at lowes, we had to ask for help 3 times and waited 50 mins to an hour just to get service. I asked the front desk twice but no one showed up, then I asked another staff to help, still nothing. I will not recommend anyone to go there because people don't have all day to wait, they have things to do. All we wanted was a leaf blower? Needs improvement bad, for customer service!!!

    I am very disappointed in Lowes Home Improvement. About an hour ago, I bought a 29ft( or so I thought) piece of indoor outdoor carpet for our downstairs recreation room. My husband laid it out and it was 2 ft short. It was only 27 ft. It's a lot of work to get that carpet in and out and rolled up, so I called and asked if I took a pic of where it was laid out and shows the 2 foot shortage, could I come in and get a refund on that 2 ft that we didn't get. Lowes told me no, I would have to roll back up and bring that entire 27ft piece of carpet back.Bad form Lowes! guess you don't realize how much effort it is to haul a 27ft piece of carpet back! Enjoy that extra $ you got for free.

    Long check out time. Self checkout was open but only 1 other register. The employee was trying to run 2 registers and was making errors. We had to go back in and get refunded for over $20 over charge. Check your receipt before leaving the store.

    I’ve always loved Lowes but this one could use some improvement. Almost half of the time I interact with staff it’s a negative experience and most often younger staff. I couldn’t arrange a simple appliance delivery and had to cancel after two weeks of not being able to deliver for reasons they couldn’t explain, yet in stock. Went with a local business and they were able to deliver the next day. Most of the older and mature staff are friendly and helpful, but too often with the younger either I smell marijuana with responses likened to the walking dead when asked a simple question, or they’re just too busy on their phones. Was in the garden department recently when both of the staff were on their phones while the plants they’re watering were being flooded. If Lowes improves, will update this review.

    I'm very upset right now. I have a broken bedroom window, 28 inch by 28 inch. I went to get a piece of glass cut today, and the guy tells me they're out of glass that big. So I have to pay $40 for a piece of plexiglass instead. Not what I wanted but better than freezing tonight. Get home, do a few other things, then go to fix the window. All old glass out, ready to pop it in, not 28 inches. One side fits, the other side doesn't. Could it be because the guy answered his cell phone after the first cut and remained on the phone as he one handed the 2nd cut? Look on the website and insult to injury, according to the site they do have what I need in stock and I can get it delivered tomorrow! So I paid almost 2x for what I didn't want cut the wrong size because he had an important phone call. It is going to be a cold night, thanks for that.

    I stopped in several weeks ago to look at washers and dryers and Amy was very patient as I asked questions about the different options. I came back this week to order and Amy helped again to get the order completed and the install scheduled. The install was timely. The installers were competent and cordial but, they seemed like they were in a hurry to get somewhere else they wanted to be.

    Nice store, I needed some home improvement items and looked at the other store but not available. This lowes had it in stock! This location is so much cleaner then the competition. I really apreciate the discount I get as a veteran! You can use the discount on their app too. I will surely be back!

    I'd always heard that if you take an item to Lowe's paint department, they can accurately duplicate the color but I never actually attempted it till the other day 😂. Made it 46 years never thinking about it much let alone ever use the service. Why did I take time out of my life to write this, seemingly unimportant review?... See, I don't get around much and when I try it's usually short lived. My husband has been taking care of me, the cars, paying bills, all household cleaning and projects (everything) for a few years now because cancer sucks. This means I'm sick, weak or both on a regular basis. So the other week I was having a good day helping hubby prep the cabinets to be painted then trying to decide on an accent color. The color we landed on was chosen from a box of markers I use for coloring. Yes, I'm 46 and color during treatments to help pass the time. A few days later, marker in hand we went to Lowe's in Morganton NC. Handed it to the nice gentleman behind the paint counter. Briefly explaining what and how much we needed (tiny amount). It was ready and waiting when we were done. And it was a perfect match. I wish I remembered the gentleman's name. He was kind, prompt, professional and proficient. Folks, it really is the little things in life. I chose the color and I can leisurely roll my desk chair around my kitchen, take all the time I need and get the look I want. Poor photo quality but you get the idea of just how little I needed. If I gotta lay around fighting cancer, feeling like death most days I might as well give reviews for the few places I go.

    I noticed they changed things around in the store. I really liked it. The employees was helpfull and I found what I was needing and I seen an item I wanted and it had no price tag on it so the was kind enough to show me how to do a price check

    Unless it's an emergency, I drive to Home Depot in Hickory NC. They seem to have higher standards when it comes to customer service and knowledgeable employees. Better product offering and pricing as well. Store management is also great, Unlike Lowes Morganton where the store manager hides in the back office while customer service suffers.

    I refuse to use self checkout!! Only manned checkout was contractor's end. Now, Lowes allows returns at the contractors checkout; so myself and others waited 25 minutes, while 4 different employee's tried to do a return on a costumers treated lumber; then finally they moved him to a different checkout, and finally made my purchase. York Lowes is getting terrible!!

    This is not my regular Lowes. They are just as bad with lack of help from staff. I had to search for one which I didn't appreciate. They helped me but rush through it so I didn't get to ask all of my questions. The store was completely confusing as well. The cashier was great though. Made it better.

    Your customer service representative Kim D. Needs training. We are remodeling our home and have spent thousands in orders so far. When I went to pick up my first order, she was plain rude, I thought she was having a bad day and let it go, When, my wife and I went to get another order, Kim D waited on us again. She acted like we were inconveniencing her. Not sure what’s going on with her but perhaps customer service is not the department she should be in.

    Nice store, well maintained and clean. Everyone was nice and polite. The only reason not given it a 5 star is of clearance. The prices of that are not as low as the sum of the busier Lowe's I've been too.

    The outdoor wood stain selections are definitely very nice. I'm very pleased with my choice. I was able to cove very close to a previous stain color I had chosen 25+ years ago. I have to admit I was very surprised. And it worked out perfectly the first time.

    Ok, so I'm going to say this. I absolutely despise having to go to the Lowe's in McDowell county, this one is still a pain in the rear but at least they actually have some decent inventory compared to my local store. I would say it's like the difference between an actual store (Burke county) and a yard sale (McDowell county). I still HATE Lowe's.

    Love that they have a air compressor that offers free air to anyone needing to pump up a low tire. It's upfront outside by the lumber yard. It's really convenient and at no cost! Appreciate it a lot especially for the fact that everywhere else charges like 2 dollar for air.

    I like this Marion North Carolina Lowe's they have everything that you need prices are reasonable and they give you good service. Once in awhile they are low stock on certain items however that is to be expected in this economy. I'm a contractor and I tend to buy from Lowe's often. They are very good and offering to help you load your truck for larger items and we contractors appreciate that.

    While picking up an online order shipped to the store, we were very rudely treated by a Kim D. She was not very friendly at all. She acted like we were bothering her. Then when I asked to open the box to ensure the contents was good, you'd think it was the end of the world by the way she acted. Not a good experience at all until an employee in training stepped up and treated us with decency.
