What a great time! Food was too tasty to take photos in time. Huge draft beer selection and the outdoor patio dining area was great. We will be back. I can’t believe it wasn’t busier. Dennis was our server… extremely friendly, polite, and made our evening care free. A+

First timer here. I had the Polish Platter. Kielbasa, pierogies, and Kraut. Loved it. Grew up in West Elizabeth and stopped in at the tavern. Great place. Highly recommended!

What a great find! Visiting and just googled food near me and found this gem. Service was great! Didn't wait long before hot food was served. Pretzel sticks are warm, crispy outside and soft/chewy inside, yum! French onion soup, my heaven! Yum! Perfectly seasoned! Burgers are nice, texture is great, need a little bit more seasoning but it's good if you like natural flavor. I'm happy with my meal there. I'll visit next time when I'm back!

As a first time visited eatery, this place scored low. I will give it a second try in the near future and edit as needed. As I said it was our first time here and they were busy,part of the problem no doubt. We were seated quickly, ordered drinks and then parmesan wedges, wings, a pork chop for me, salad for the wife and a side of soup for me. The food was presented to us in the exact opposite order that we ordered. First my soup, was very good. Then the pork chop and a salad came out,pork chop was tough but passable, salad was great. Wings were brought out while we were still eating the main course, they were very hot so they cooled while we were finishing up the meal. The wings were a bit overcooked and dried out but eatable for the most part. as we were finishing the wings, the appetizer showed up, swimming in a pool of oil as they weren't drained and they were overdone so we didn't eat them at all. All in all we were full but the meal was less than perfect in many ways. Because they were very busy, I will give them a second chance in a week or two and edit this review. Many people love this place, it just didn't satisfy me. But being a fair guy, I will go back for a second chance dinner.

Very bad experience! The waitress/bartender was very rude! She actually argued with us and accused us saying, that is what you ordered, I only brought what you asked, and we were like no we didn't, and she was like, YES you did, and was actually getting loud...Never brought me things I ordered and had nerve to charge me, and then she actually looked at me when she handed me the bill and said I brought you that, and I said NO you didn't! She was like o, I got really busy.. she was standing at the bar talking to someone for over 15 min! Never got any refills on drinks! Flies all over where you are sitting and eating! Most tables were filled with old cups and dishes, very dirty! I hope they have cameras so they can see how lazy and rude she was! I BEG YOU, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! If I could give a lower score I would! On a positive note, plenty of parking!

Best steak quesadilla my friend ever had! The french onion soup and breakfast pierogies were also delicious. There is a bar area, dining area, and a few outdoor dining tables.

The Service Was Good. The tables seem a little close to each other. Overall The Food was good, and I would come back.

Great beers on tap. We really like Helltown and there are not alot of bars that have it. Waitress could have been more personable. I do not recommend.the Reuben. Cole slaw was very good The stuffed peppers were expensive $10.99 and there was only 2 on the plate. We were there at 3:45. Waitress never mentioned the happy hour meals. Oh we were the only people in the restaurant

A nice, warm, cozy place on a cold February evening. Food is good and portions are plentiful, especially given the low-to-mid price point. The service was quite friendly, attentive, and responsive. The salad greens left a bit to be desired, but other than that the food was delicious. It's off the beaten path by about a mile, so it has that mom and pop place feel that most restaurants on 51 don't have anymore.

Nice little family restaurant in the south hills. Quick service, generous portions. Not fancy good place to sit down for a quick meal. Prices are more than fair. The pierogis are the best thing on the menu. I'd defiantly eat there again.

Great place to grab a bite. Cajun Pasta, Tavern burger and Parm sandwich were all delicious. Servers obviously got slammed right after we ordered but handled it stellarly and were attentive and kind the whole time!! Thank you 😊💗
