Very good and very reasonable prices. Had grilled chicken tacos 🌮. Double shells like I prefer and very full of grilled diced chicken. Update: Had the Carne Asada tacos 🌮 today. Also very good! This is fast becoming my go-to Mexican restaurant.

Oh my goodness, these tacos are so amazing that we had no issues driving 40 minutes to go back and order 10 to go! Great service and absolutely terrific food.

Good, flavor was good, customer was not. Either he was shy or first time being a waiter. Chips weren't fresh, almost a stale texture. Salsa was good and so was the pineapple shrimp fajitas that didn't have pineapple. Lol

Not a good place to eat the enchilada were so cold tasted like i was eating pumpkin. Chips have a funny taste to them and the lighting not on point cant even read the menu. Best part is the churro ice cream

After ordering food from them at least once a week, often twice a week, for years because they were close to our house, we've finally decided we are done. They never answer their phone and the amount of times they have forgotten items in our order is unacceptable, whether it's sauce, Salsa or an entire entree and it is way too often. Find another Mexican restaurant, there are way better ones in the Quad Cities with way better food. They truly don't care.

Good service and very good food and well priced for all the food we got. We will be back!

Just argued with a server who stayed on her phone barely acknowledged my daughter and I sitting at a table next to the register where she was. After sitting for at least 3 minutes the guy who was cleaning tables, spraying chemicals and sweeping without gloves also took our order, served our drinks and food while she still stood behind the register on her phone. Upon finishing our food and approaching the register to pay she asked how was everything? I told her how rude she was and that the cleaner shouldn’t be serving food and cleaning without washing his hands or having gloves on, she lied and said he did when he went from cleaning straight to pouring our drinks and serving us chips and salsa and eventually our food! She said it was his turn to serve, that’s how she was trained, stormed off to the bathroom, slammed the door and left our sever to finish with me paying!

The food and service is normally good. I did get hard shell tacos that tasted a bit stale and very hard to crunch through this last visit. But every other time I have had a good experience.

🤤 "Definitely Top Shelf!" It's ALL GREAT, and as tasty as it can get! Probably have to stick to the traditional tho and go with the tacos and or burritos dinner. Love the House sauce and chips too.

Old Mexico has always been a family favorite but there's been a decline over the last few months. We seem to end up with the same waitress who doesn't appear to like her job too much. On our most recent visit, it took over ten minutes just to acknowledge us. The queso is sometimes delicious and sometimes cold and pasty. The al pastor tacos are consistently good but other dishes, are hit or miss depending on the day.

Edit: Decided to give you anothet try. Staff is rude and doesn't seem to care at all about the quality of food. Steak was grainy and tough and tasted like roast beef and not steak. Prices have gone up so much that what used to cost about $16 now costs around $25 for low quality food. Complained and the workers did nothing to try to make things right. Used to be my favorite place but the past month or so I have had nothing but bad experiences. First, they never answer the phone. Either it just rings or it is a busy signal. I'm convinced the drive thru bell doesn't actually work bc nobody come to the door unless they happen to look outside while walking by. My order has been wrong the past 3 times I've ordered. It's really disappointing to see the restaurant to down hill like that. Hopefully management makes some changes soon.

This is a good, inexpensive authentic Mexican restaurant. Free chips and salsa, daily discount special, and the food is good. The staff is always nice. It's a good spot.

Food was delicious, even that I got there right before they closed for the day they still make my food , with a big smile on their face , to me that's what counts as love for what they do .

2nd time coming. 1st time was great. Amazing staff, food and drinks. This time not so much. Food was stale. Pretty sure our margaritas had zero alcohol in them. My husband got a coors light that was "sour". It was expired. The waitress was on her phone the whole time chewing on something while she took our order and gave us our bill. Zero apologies or cares for the expired beer. Will NEVER go back.

Visiting area. Tried this out. Food and service were great. Restaurant was very clean. Recommend giving them a try for some wonderful Mexican dishes. Our 9 year old loved their chicken nuggets, fries and chicken taquitos.

Bought my usual LG combo. The waitress handed me the bag and it wasn't til I got half way home my food boxes and salsa started to fall out. When I got home everything had been standing on its head a fallen together. The food was as cold as could be and there was something in the tomales that I still can't identify. This is the food I usually get and the last two times it's been awful. Won't be back.

I loved it! I had a great experience and loved the service!! Me and my boyfriend were visiting from out of town and stopped at this cute little dinner for some drinks before the long drive home! The place was cleanly and fast

Food was good and tasty but the Carne asada was a bit too overcooked and became a beef yerky almost. Everything else was great including the horchata. Ill definitely give them another shot

i’ve tried going here 7 times now but they don’t answer the phone to take my order. no matter what time of day it is they refuse to pick up the phone and i drive by to see it’s not busy at all, which tells me they probably just leave their phone off the hook so they don’t have to deal with it. very disappointing.

Quesa-birria tacos were amazing, the soup was good too. One of the workers forgot my soup and ran outside to give it to me aswell.

Me and my Dad went to go have dinner around 4:30, the place was not busy whatsoever, we sat down and not once we're we greeted or acknowledged, we sat there for about 10 mins before I went up to the counter and no one even acknowledge me or my dad again, finally after 20 mins the employee comes out and said there's more important things he has to attend to,so I told him nevermind we'll go eat somewhere else. He didn't even apologize or try to rectify the problem, but we ended up finding a better place that treated us like we matter. Just keep in mind customers are what keeps your doors open and pays your workers. If you continue to treat your customers like that you're going to end up being closed, it doesn't matter how good your food is, it's the customer service that makes a restaurant.

We eat here almost once a week. We love it! Great food and service and prices are VERY reasonable!

stopped by today around 3pm and got the Birra Tacos. uh, they were delicious. also had a couple Margheritas!!

My go-to place for local Mexican every time. Their soft shell chicken tacos are my favorite, I rave about them whenever given the chance.

Unreal food-the best authentic Mexican I've had in the QCs. Great portions and AFFORDABLE! This is our new favorite place for Mexican.

This is a great place to stop. They don't ever seem too busy, staff is always great. The food is fresh and well done.
