Old and New memorial to the men of 617 SQN in the RAF who made the ultimate sacrifice. It is situated next to a small carpark qhich has 2 hours free parking and is only £2 for longer time. It is also the start of the Woodhall Spa wartime walk.

We recently visited the lovely Spa town of Woodhalll Spa in Lincolnshire. After spending a great time at the “Kinema in the Woods” cinema, we moved on to the end of the high street where this peaceful, very well kept, memorial of the RAF 617 Squadron, aka the Dambusters is located. We found it to be a very moving experience, with the realisation that those memorialised knowingly made the ultimate sacrifice for us all. Certainly well worth a visit.

Such a wonderful and peaceful tribute to those brave men who lost their lives on the Dambusters raid. Woodhall Spa is a must visit if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed.

Whilst I was in the area, I felt that it was appropriate to pay our respects. Lovely well kept memorial. Nice village to stop and have tea. There is a nice woodland walk behind the shops, and public toilets near by.

2 hours free parking and well kept memorial in a nice small town centre with a selection of interesting independent shops and cafes

What can I say. A beautiful memorial. I got goosebumps just standing there and a tear in my eye thinking about what those brave men gave for us. Truly inspiring.

Woodhall Spa lovely village, woodland walks for hot days. Lovely ice cream sweet shop opposite the memorial. Nice pub as well grateful food. Free 2 hr parking initially next to the memorial. There's a sainsbury road the corner as well

Beautiful Place ,its a shame our government don't give a toss about what these people did for us . Now they're going to move immigrants into Scampton. Government are scum and disrespectful
