For me the highlight was the baguette & champagne. The cheese board was okay but none of the cheeses had much flavor. The fondue bourguignonne was just bad… the meat was very low quality, it was much too chewy and fatty, I spat every mouthful into my napkin. We also got the chèvre salad… which came with cured ham on top (not indicated on the menu & I don’t eat pork). We ordered a Moscow mule to finish but were informed they didn’t have it so we had a gin fizz instead which was only okay. It’s also very small with too many tables cramped together, I couldn’t even extend my arms or move my head back without bumping against other guests or getting bumped into.

Super nice environment for a Sunday lunch. Cosy, warm, delicious food and great hosts. It truly feels like you’re eating in France :)

Excellent wine and a nice selection of French dishes. The terrace is particularly nice. A real hidden gem.

It's a shame that we only found this on the last day, otherwise we would have visited more often. The owner was nice and came to chat with us.

Amazing spot for any occasion. They throw a great party and offer an amazing brunch on the weekends. Cocktails at night are quick and tasty, and often come with good conversation with everyone who works there.

The atmosphere is both cozy and relaxed, perfectly complementing the quiet neighborhood setting. My personal favorites are the brunch and the beef tartare; there's evident care put into the food. The owner is genuinely friendly and always welcoming! This place has become a special memory for me.

Found this place a few months back but they weren't open. Finally made our way there. The owner was gracious and friendly. Service was good and good was tasty. They have built and outdoor deck area. With the light evening wind, it was a great way to end the day. Look forward to returning.

Went to L’ami Malo for lunch while exploring Lisbon for a weekend and I wish I had more time to go for another meal. Their cheese and charcuterie platter had a variety of French products and came accompanied with warm bread and butter. As a main I decided to go for the duck confit and was not disappointed. It was cooked to perfection crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. It came accompanied with a green salad and potato wedges. We drank it with a red wine recommended by the owner which ended being the perfect pairing. Couldn’t leave without a dessert so opted for a chocolate mousse and it was perhaps the best chocolate mousse that I have had in a long time (and I live in Switzerland) the texture and flavors were beautifully balanced. The place has a beautiful terrace perfect to have your meal with friends in a relaxed environment or to simply people watch. The service was super friendly and attentive as they even offered blankets when it got a bit windy. Overall the ambiance of the place and attentiveness of staff reflects that the people working in it care about the experience of the customer and the small details that make up for a great meal. Definitely recommend !
