👍 It’s probably oldest submarine in the world. This is the closest submarine I've ever seen in my life. I wish can go inside the submarine, but couldn’t see any authority here! Daily a lot of people come here to see this submarine. But, due to the Covid-19 not much crowd here. The scenery around this... People often mention submarine,

Awesome opportunity to see a submarine in dry dock. Unfortunately there is no way to see the inside.

The submarine is attached to the “D. Fernando II e Gloria” Frigate museum. The submarine exhibit is currently closed. Access into the sub is only through ladders, which would be difficult for some tourists. The museum wants to cut 2 horizontal access hatches, so guests can walk directly into the hull but presently don’t have the funds to make the necessary retrofit. The frigate is pretty cool though and worth checking out.

Very cool submarine, it's just a shame there's no way to visit the interior.

Renovations right now but you should still be able to see it. The place is open and nice and there is a bus station right at it. The ferry also stops there. Enough restaurants and other places to visit. Located directly at sea.
