Yellow Boat River Tour

Boat tour agency

đź‘Ťđź‘Ť We booked the boat tour as part of the bus tour package and were very satisfied with the boat tour. We can recommend the last 6 p.m. trip on Sundays where you can experience a beautiful boat trip at sunset. The view of Lisbon from the water is really worth it. Tip: It's better to book the boat tour... People often mention boat, tour, trip, recommend, arrived, view, ferry, good,

The boat makes a few stops to pick up and drop off passengers joining the ferry. The view is gorgeous but the experience feels a bit too long because there actually wasn’t that much to see (90 mins for 20 Euros). Bring a jacket as it gets super chilly sitting outside, even in the summer.

The tour lasts about 1:20 hr. The staff is friendly, they sell drinks and chips on board. I was disappointed about the dirty glasses in the downstairs area. The audio is only available downstairs. Restrooms were very dirty. The views are good. Get on board when the wind is not too cold, otherwise is hard to stay outside. Decent for the 20€.

Personally, I really enjoyed the Yellow Boat Tour. Integrated into my 72 hour hop on hop off ticket, I was very happy to take advantage of the offer to see Lisbon from the water for a good 1 1/2 hour. Yes, you get relatively little information about the various sights you sail past along the way, but for me the focus here was definitely on the relaxed journey across the water. You can also buy refreshments on board at any time, as there is a kiosk here.

Had to wait outside for 30min in a que and they allowed a group to enter before everyone else despite the fact that we were all waiting outside. The crew was also very rude. Very disappointed wouldn't recommend it

Go for the sunset River tour. It is idyllic. There was a singer on board which made the moment magical. The colours of the landscape when seen from the sea are fantastic.

It was a lovely river boat tour, I would have liked some waitering services, at least in the closed area of the boat. Well worth the effort.

We had booked a boat tour, but it was canceled for technical reasons. The motto was money back or another trip. We didn't want to miss out on a tour of the Tejo, so we rebooked. It really wasn't an information tour. Mooring points were approached and that was it. Way too expensive for very little to no information. The view was still good!

Unfortunately, the boat tour is very unspectacular and not really informative. The outdated excursion boat only goes up the river once and back again. The multilingual information about attractions cannot be understood on the upper deck. Before you set off, you can inhale the smell of diesel for 10 minutes. The tour is quite nice as a pure panoramic trip. But public ferries can do that too.

Very good. Live music as well for the 1-1/2 hour tour

I enjoyed the tour’s pace. In the summer the upper open deck can get quickly full so you want to be a bit ahead of others. I liked the inside of the boat which is a bit loud but it’s so old school that it has kids of charm. The sound quality on the upper deck was not great since the speaker are only directed in one direction. It’s not a deal breaker though.

We three friends reluctantly took this Tour on 17.06.2023 to our surprise it was the best Boat tour we had. There was a live music which was great, the singer was fun to hear and ge sang 80's melodies. We were given a welcome drink and some sweet pastry which was very delicious, and thoughtful. The Sunset boat tour by Yellow Boat was great. Beautiful views and splendid scenery while sun setting down on the Tagus River. I would highly recommend anyone to make sure to take this spectacular boat tour.

Practical and affordable for getting around Lisbon

Beautiful view, slow and enjoyable ride with some traditional music on the background and some info about the monuments you see from afar. I recommend you do this if you want to go to Belém. There is the possibility of getting off there (seeing the Monastery, the Discovery Monument and eating the pastéis de belém) and getting in a little later. It will take you back to Lisbon. I loved it. Saturday is a good day to do it.

Nice view. Allow 1 hour 30 minutes of cruising. However the meeting point is incorrectly indicated on Google

In the brochure it’s stated that organised groups are prioritised only during the 11:30 boarding, which is not the case and they are being seated first all the times. It’s unfair to customers that are queuing up earlier to get worse seats (if any). For this reason, I advise to choose another company.

Tour was okay - you can't actually hear what is being said on the speakers so its not really a tour but more of a view of the city from the sea which is nice anyway. We paid 22 euro each for this but no one ever checked our tickets. It was a nice experience on our trip.

For 45 euros we had 78 hours of hop on hop off tours with bus, trams, hill tram tour with audio guide elevator and cog railway with boat tour. The ticket to Sintra, Roca, Cacais and back cost us 10.60 (train), 2x 2.60 for the Sintra-Roca-Cacais bus. The only stupid thing was that we were given the old brochure and from March 27th. the timetable had changed from winter to summer and we were late for the branch. We will make up for it later.

We looked at all the offers and chose this one because it had live music. It was worth it and the perfect way to end our stay. It was acoustic music and really pleasant to listen to and we were given some local wine as an aperitif. The staff were friendly and I really recommend this tour but check online for discounts! i would recommend booking directly at the ferry port and get there early to get a seat outside.

Ticket office closes over lunch. Boat cruise is nice with onboard refreshments for purchase.

The tour was good but the boat lacks ceiling top. The ground level the glass wasn't clean so you can't barley see through it, how about if you wanna take some pictures.

20 Euro for a trip by boat up and down the river. Audio information hard to hear. Not worth the money.

The guy at the ticket office was really really rude towards us, we were going to buy the tickets but, since the treatment, we changed our minds.

We arrived at Terriers do Paco just 8 minutes after the 11am ferry left. As the 1300 was not operating, our next option was the 14.00. It was suggested we make our way to Belem to catch the 12.00 ferry which in our naïveté we thought would carry on to Trafaria, where we wanted to go to a beach for a swim. As we had our hop on-hop off tickets we went to the tram stop to catch the 15 tram as advised, only we caught it the wrong way, and after crawling around the corner we knew we would never get to Belem on time unless we took an Uber. So into an Uber we got, and arrived 15 minutes early! We were triumphant, however our triumph sagged as the boat arrived 30 minutes late and we realised we could have walked there in that time. When the boat finally arrived we were told the next stop was - Terriers do Paco - for an hour's stop. Right back where we came. The 14.00 ferry in other words. A (n expensive) liquid lunch was calling. Back at 14.00 we finally got to go to Trafaria, and arrived about 15.00 and were told to be back for 16.30 for the 16.40 boat - the last boat of the day (not 17.40 as advertised) We Ubered to a beach for a quick swim, then Ubered back on time for a(nother) thirty minute wait for the boat. One couple who also disembarked at Trafaria had been urged to try the local fish delicacies - only no establishment was open to offer any food in the time we were there. When the ferry arrived there were no seats on top of course. For the trip from Belem to Terreiro do Paco we had a seat upstairs and it was lovely - but what a lot of mucking around! We opted for the hop on-hop off tram and boat ticket for two days and paid a lot of money - €30 each - for overcrowded, unpredictable modes of transport. Uber was our saviour.
