I'm only giving two stars because our wait staff was wonderful. We booked a party and left a deposit back in July for a date in September. We went to confirm and finalize the event about two weeks prior. To our surprise, we were told that the total would be $10 more per person. we had left a deposit seemingly to lock in pricing and the date. further the other agreements made were conveniently forgotten until the email was provided to dispute it. Even after the settlement of the new pricing and forgotten agreements, we still were not provided with any written contract or documentation to outline the details after multiple requests. Day of the party, everything went well. wait staff was attentive and accomodating. when I was presented with the bill, I came very close to losing my cool. There now was a gratuity automatically applied for almost $500.00. additionally we were informed that the party was a guarantee of 35 people, and if we were to use a credit or debit card we would be charged an additional 3.5%. none of this was ever disclosed or noted on the catering menus. Let me be clear my issue isn't with the pricing but purely the shady business conducted by the owner. If you look to book a party here beware of the games Michael will play. Get everything in writing and hold him accountable. He is clearly not an man with any integrity.

I held my husband’s 60th birthday party there. From the planning to the actual party was so effortless. Mike and Anthony were so helpful. The day after all the attendees were calling me to rave about the great food and service. Nothing was impossible for Mike and Anthony. All covid regulations were followed which made my guests very comfortable. This place is definitely a great place to eat. Now my favorite restaurant to go. Thank you for making my party so memorable.

Amazing place all around. I went for the first time blindly this weekend, and WOW!!!!!!! What an amazing surprise. I had the chicken rollatini and it was absolutely delicious. It came with asparagus and a mushroom risotto. Kudos to the chef as you tasted each item individually. A lot of the times all the sauces mix together and everything tastes the same. Not here. In all seriousness, for me to take time out of my life to write about how great the asparagus was, it is worth it. I will be back here as often as possible. This place is really really good!

What a great experience!!! My best friend had a birthday dinner that was able to accommodate a huge party! The staff was unbelievable, so attentive even catering to such a big crowd, especially the best server Anthony ! Everyone had smiles from ear to ear from the staff down to the guests. Music brought to you by DJ jp playing the greatest throwbacks and hit a few moves in the dance floor after dinner. I had the swordfish and it was so delicious definitely recommend. It was my first time so wasn't sure what to expect, however do light and flavorful I would absolutely get again. Love this place!

I came here with my friend for the first time. I have never had an experience like this in my life. I go out to eat a lot. All the wines were priced $10-$12 per glass. I was ordering two glasses of Cabernet I asked our waiter a question about the wine. He suggests trying the wine on the table which we didn’t notice. I tried it and agreed to one glass. My friend said he’d have a glass The waiter fills up our glasses again when we still had half a glass left. We didn’t ask for it. He tried pouring more later. , I stopped him. Besides the food being just OK. , I had to add oil , salt and pepper to make it suitable. The bill comes , the waiter charged us for the bottle of wine !!!! 1/2 of the bottle was still there ! When we disagreed wirh this bill , he reluctantly, takes the bill back and charges us $16 per glass of wine ! He made the price up ! I would never come back ! I suggest , save your money , don’t come here !

Dimly lit , we had to ask several times for the temperature to be adjusted ( to hot , stuffy, not well regulated ). Appetizer portions were very small, food was tasty but presentation left a lot to be desired. Fried zucchini was so small (almost like fronions ) , fried calamari was tasty but looked like 1/2 portion (15-16 pieces( 2.1 piece each? )on a table of 6). The wait staff was very good and courteous. Live entertainment was good . Prices are on the higher side. Desert pastries were small but fresh.

I just attended the Massapequa Chamber event at Gusto Divino and the food and service was fantastic. The owner was so accommodating and even presented a gift card to the police officer who was being honored. I will definitely be back!

Decent quality food, OK atmosphere, NYC prices with credit card surcharge and LOUSY service. A lot of people standing around doing nothing. An expensive error: I had missed my train and went into the restaurant for a quick bite. It took a while to get served, I ate about 20% of my entree, I asked to take the rest of it to go. ( to catch the train). Instead, they were preparing me a duplicate entree to go, billed me for it, and I explained that I wanted my entree, just to go on the train, but I did not get it -- language barrier, maybe? Though they did straighten out the billing. And I was stupid enough to leave a tip! Shame on me !!!

Very nice Italian restaurant that seems to have a loyal client base. Parking lot always seems to be full but always a couple spots left. Service is great, respectful and attentive. Food all came out fresh and tasty. Everything was done well from the bread, to the pesto, to the entrees.

I dont know how this place gets 4.5 rating. Food is mediocre at best. In fact most restaurants in Nassau county are mediocre. All i can say is that people dont cook anymore and theyve gotten used to bad food being good. Very sad

I had my bridal shower at Gusto Divino on a Saturday night, and it was so disappointing. I was promised certain tables in a particular section, and when I arrived that night ready to set up, the owner - Mike - had given away my section to a bigger party. He explained that the reason was because he had a bereavement come in last minute, and that they were "really good customers." I thought I was a good customer too, but apparently I was not even worth a phone call to give me a head's up. He was not apologetic, and his suggestions were either starting my party later in the evening, or moving me to a different section. I understand that the other group was a bereavement, but I'm not sure why he gave away the section of tables that was in my contract. We ended up moving my party into a totally different section and we were all crammed together, and my flowers and place settings were all off because of it. Also, the other group started giving speeches as my bridal shower guests started to arrive, and my party was then asked to be quiet. I'm sorry, but this was a Saturday night at a crowded restaurant, you can't expect complete silence. The happy vibe of the shower was really strained in the beginning. All in all, don't have a party here unless you're his friend and are bringing in a big group. Because I only had a small party of about 30, Mike made it very clear that I was not his priority, and he bumped me without a second thought. This was supposed to be a special day, and I really feel that his greed took that from me.

There are so many great dishes to choose from and all have been outstanding. The veal Milanese is not only cooked perfectly but enough for three people. The Cavatelli gusto with sausage and broccoli rabe is amazing.

We had a baptism reception with about 40 people there yesterday for my twins. The food and service were top notch (picky Italian food crowd approved, believe me!), and incredibly reasonable $’wise. Mike and Anthony were also wonderful to work with leading up to and throughout the event. The whole thing was a total breeze and a pleasure. For folks looking in the area, my family highly recommends!

Loved it, delicious food, great staff and depending on which night you go there may be live music. The waiter you get definitely matters, there is one that is fantastic and makes the experience ( he has a short ponytail) anyone know his name please advise! Otherwise the food alone is reason to visit.

My friend & I had dinner there last night. It was very overpriced for what we had. We started with the $16 mussel appetizer. I believe there were 12 tiny mussels in the dish. We ordered mussels, not clams. There were tiny & nothing special at that. She had shrimp scampi over pasta. I had a salad. I asked for salmon if it could be very rare, or skirt steak the same way if the salmon could not be cooked that way. I received a salad drenched in dressing with an end piece of salmon fitting it it were asked for well done, otherwise suitable to be fed to my dog. I asked if I could have the skirt steak instead with the salad with the dressing on the side. I received the same dressing drenched salad back. The Walnuts in the salad were stale. My first drink was lacking what I asked for. The second was correct. The waiter was the silver lining. My friend & I each spent $95 on this meal. What it included was not at all worth the price. A tremendous disappointment & a waste for what we paid. I gave it 2 stars because of the water & because they did not rush us.

Great place if you want to listen to Jazz. Live music every Sunday. My family had different chicken dishes and loved them. I had the Skirt steak. I hate to say it was a bit tough. The staff was very nice.

Our server, Anthony, was the best! Very attentive and great sense of humor. The food was delicious. Took my family. We had a wide range of food from calamari, eggplant, salmon, ribs, tiramisu, and the cheesecake. Oh my the homemade Italian cheesecake... Gusto Divino!

If you are looking for an exceptional party experience, look no further! We celebrated my son's graduation last night at Gusto Divino and it was truly outstanding. Michael and Anthony treated all 25 of my guests like family from the moment we walked through the door. The service and attention to detail were beyond compare and all of the prepared dishes and desserts were absolutely delicious! We are still receiving messages from our guests today raving about the experience. Bravo to the owners and staff and many thanks for a memorable celebration!

Just had another wonderful dinner with my husband and our childhood friend. The wait staff was great and allowed us time to sit and talk before during and after dinner. The appetizer of baked clams and mozzarella sticks were very good. We all had different entrees (chicken mafaletta, lobster ravioli, and ziti with chicken and portobello mushrooms) and all were very good. The fact that Mike the owner bought us an after dinner drink was also appreciated. This place has never disappointed us. April 14, 2020. Once more a wonderful dinner. I had the roast duck special and my husband had the Chicken Meatball Meatball Mafalda. Our appetizer was the toasted walnut and goat cheese salad. We have never been disappointed here. The meals and wait staff are always great. I must mention that the prices were very reasonable. I didn't see much of a price increase over the past year.
