    The guys that work here are incredibly helpful. I liked a guitar pedal but the new price I thought was a bit too much. They were able to search all their stores, find a used one in like new condition in a store across the country, called the store, ordered the pedal, and had it shipped to my house with free 2 day shipping. Unbelievable service and deserving of my highest recommendation. I have been coming to this store for over 20 years and will continue to do so for many more. Some of the same people still work at this store that were there when I first started playing guitar over 20 years ago and that in itself, speaks volumes.

    Love this store and have been coming here for years. I came in about a few weeks ago and Rich helped me out big time with finding a keyboard after the one I previously had was having issues (which he helped me throughly diagnose by the way!). Great service AND he gave me a hell of a deal too. 5/5 service!

    I had ordered a fairly expensive used keyboard through their King of Prussia, PA location which was to be shipped from one of their dealers in Florida. Unfortunately, it arrived damaged and I brought it back expecting them to pressure me to keep it (It apparently still worked) in return for a price reduction. The manager of the store took the keyboard apart to ascertain the extent of the damage which was more than it seemed at first glance. After discussion, he graciously accepted it in return and ordered me a new brand new keyboard which arrived at my home 4 days later! I had a similar experience with Sam Ash 9 years ago which was resolved over the phone by a telephone call from Paul Ash. I'm old enough to remember when customer service was not an oxymoron and am extremely pleased with the outcome.

    Mathew was a great help and has encyclopedia-like knowledge of the keyboards and educated me on which machine's capabilities. These days, clerks just point to the price. Not Mathew. He gave information and nuance about his products and was a pleasure to speak to. I know where I'm going to make my next purchase for anything music related and I know who I'm going to ask for, too. Thank you, Sam Ash, thank you, Mathew!

    I came here for instrument repair. I had a 50 year old clarinet from my high school days. My teenage granddaughter (who plays other instruments) wanted to play around with it. I took it in and Jenny was so helpful. She said she would try to do it that day as the granddaughter was only in for town for a few days. She finished it that day and got it all cleaned and repaired. I highly recommend.

    I shoooed high and low for a set of drum sets. It’s like buying a car. You do the research, test drive, ask questions. No one let us test drive or even cared enough to ask the right questions until we met Zack from The king of Prussia store in PA. When you love what you do it shows! Needless to say we left with a drum set and full of knowleadge. Thank you Zachary! kudos to you

    Long time customer. Love, stopping in with the kids or on my own and playing a lot of great instruments. Service has always been terrific. Not pushy at all, but available for questions, and typically have knowledgeable answers.

    The customer service is unmatched! Manager Mike and Sales team are amazing! Super helpful! This kind of customer service is rare! I'm amazed by the staff at the KOP location. I had a great experience in the store as well as over the phone! I will be returning the this location!

    I had a wonderful experience yesterday! I had a broken peg on the very cherished guitar of a sister at our school. The staff sent me to the guitar section where Ben and Ben worked out a way to replace the pegs and restring the guitar for me. I am looking forward to making sister’s day in such a short time!!

    Always good. I worked there many years ago but for 18 years. See Matthew Phillips if you need anything. He can direct you to the right person or help you solve your needs. Ask for him when you call. I'm not partial, or getting money feom thiis, he is just an amazing employee and has been for 20 years now I believe, maybe more.

    My favorite music store hands down. There's always an employee around to help, they're always friendly and happy to get something out of the display case for you, and best of all the store is good sized so you don't feel like you're tripping over people everywhere you go. They have a great selection of pedals and amps to try out and the store is emaculately clean and organized every time I stop in. I live over an hour away from this location and make specific trips to this store a few times a year. I've never had a less than great experience at this location. If you've only ever been to GC and understand the frustration of what it's like going there to do just about anything, even just running in to buy something simple, do yourself a favor a check out Sam Ash.

    I had a great experience while visiting the KOP location! I had to wait a few minutes for a sales person to become available but not an issue. Upon leaving I stopped and spoke to Matthew regarding bass lessons and he was very insightful and encouraging in regards to me being nervous about my age and fear of being able to learn how to play and read.

    First time I stopped by this location to return an online order after I spoke with customer support I was told to drop off the package at this location, the first person was trying to help but wasn’t able to he referred to take it back to the store I purchased from which I repeatedly told him this is an online purchase.. then he called the manager & he said he will not be able to return it because it’s after 15 days return policy & then he opened the package & the box to inspect the item which I was confused since he said he can’t accept the return, but he said he’s trying to help.. so I waited an hour after they unpacked the box inspected the item I was told that they can’t accept the return because headsets have only 15 days return policy which is not true ! SAM has 45 days return policy. Basically this was my first & last experience with SAM KOP location. Very unknowledgeable people sitting behind the counters wasted 1 hour at the store & 3 hours going to the store & back to my home. Very unpleasant experience. It’s sad to see workers who claims they know the return policy & when I called corporate they told me it’s 45 days. Time wasted. Never dealing with that store again.

    Outstanding experience! For someone who does not play an instrument, I was intimidated to go, until I walked in and met one of the guys working. Zach in the drums area was awesome! He couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful and quickly addressed my questions. I would absolutely go back for any future needs and have confidence I would have a great experience!

    Ordered a Guitar online for my son then I decided to pick it up in the store. Customer service with helpful with reaching out to store so I could pick it up instead. When my son and I arrived at the store everyone was so nice and helpful. The young man who assisted myself and my son was amazing and he was able to answer the few questions my son and I had regarding his new Guitar. I highly recommend this location!     You know, I might go to a different music store to pick up strings, or other small accessories. However, when it comes to knowledgable and professional sales people, and a hassle and stress free environment as well as great prices, I go to Sam Ash for the big stuff. I have purchased amps, guitars, effects, recorders (most recently, the TASCAM Model 24), and most of my studio gear at Sam Ash. Believe me, I feel right at home when I walk into a Sam Ash Store, regardless of location. The welcome, the honesty, advice, and don't forget price, and the quality, make me a permanent, lifelong Sam Ash Customer. Sincerely, I wish there were more stars to award this company. they do it right.

    Had a great experience at this store, I’ve been doing research on synthesizers but couldn’t quite figure out which one was best for me. An associate named Nick helped me out tremendously. He gave me good info and pointed me in the direction that best suited my needs. I will definitely be coming back here to purchase one in the near future.

    I went in looking for a bass and I while i was looking the guys who worked there were very nice and kept checking back with me to make sure everything was good! I ended up getting an Ibanez and the guy at the register was super chill and taught me everything i needed to know to take care of my bass and offered me the warranty on it as well. overall great experience!!

    My experience at the Sam Ash store in King Of Prussia PA, was excellent. I worked with Matthew in purchasing a Roland Digital Piano, for which he checked with the Manager and was able to match a Sale price I found at competitors store - And also I had some trade-in equipment that I was given a fair price for on trade-in. Matthew was very helpful.

    I sold some equipment @ your King of Prussia location on 5/25/2022. Your buy policy clearly states/ posted on your store wall. That any value under $1500, then you give cash on the spot. Anything over $1500 then a check will be issued. I was told there was NO money in the store and I would have to wait up to 15 days for my payment. You can't seriously operate stores w/ no money! I am not comfortable with this and I mentioned my concern, The feedback I got was " Do I want to do it or not". I made the chose to sell my equipment based on your policy. Not to have to go back in forth with an employee. Just be honest and upfront. You can't make excuses about your policy after the fact of getting the equipment into your inventory.

    I love this store. Even with the industry decimated by supply chain issues, the staff are as friendly as ever, and they have kept their prices competitive and offer some great deals. Their staff is knowledgeable and eager to help. And they stock, and you can interact with professional-level gear, not just the beginner junk stock that the other big-box music stores push. That alone motivates me, as a professional musician, to drive 50 minutes just to visit this store.

    This location really wasted my time. The attention to detail was poor. They need to retrain their employees. They sold me an iron cobra with no pedal inside and I didn’t realize until days later cause I had spent almost $4,000 with them and had a lot stuff to set up. Also the back rest I bought for the drum throne bought doesn’t not fit with it. The associate suggested it to me. If you’re going to sell something to me make sure you do your due diligence and make sure you suggesting the right stuff. Wouldn’t recommend Sam ash after this experience. Use Sweetwater

    I give this place a 5+ Star Review because the customer service I got from the gentleman at the front desk was exceptional and exemplary. He took his time with us, answered all of my many questions in a thorough, educated, and sincere way. He never made me feel rushed or bothersome for all the time and energy he gave us. He helped us with everything we needed and offered great advice. I saw him treat the customers before me the same way. I'll return here simply for the level of customer service I received.
