I ordered chicken tikka masala. I received chillie chicken. I called and immediately informed of this error. Staff attempted to convince me that what I received was indeed Tikka Masala. The dish i received was not a creamy sauce, the meat was not white meat and it had onions and peppers inside the dish. The look was a deep dark red, stew consistency, rather than a brighter colored orange/red curry. My smoothie was also left behind. I did receive a refund for the smoothie, but they made me bite the bullet on the actual dish. Immediately trashed this and ordered from another Indian location.

After long time I found a place where food was very homely. If you have traveled to Punjab in your life, food at this place will refresh your memories. Quality of food was really really very good. I could see that family was involved in kitchen and there were personal touches to food that every Indian foodie will appreciate. Initially when I saw a small store with few tables, my first thought was oh my god, did I chose right place? But as soon as food came in, I remembered old saying, 'did judge the book by its cover'. Goat biryani was so deeply cooked that when I ate rice, I could taste melted goat in it. Chicken Kadai was same way. Meat was coming off the bones as soon as you touch it. Thanks for serving great food at great price. Please keep maintaining this quality and you will see continues satisfied customers for years. I already recommended your place to my Punjabi friend in the area and I'll definitely visit your place again when I'm in NJ.

WOW. Just WOW! I have been craving some Indian food but to be honest South Jersey seems to be lacking in ones with authentic, quality flavor. Well I'm glad I came across this and the reviews were right! The guy who answered the phone was very friendly and accommodating and they were willing to make me one of my favorite dishes that wasn't even on the menu (Aloo Palak)! I was blown away from the first bite. FINALLY! Some Indian food with some real spice and flavor! This is the BEST Indian food I have found since leaving my beloved NYC and actually tops the flavor of some spots there as well. I refuse to order Indian from anywhere else again! The food came HOT and TASTY! It hit the spot for my cravings. This food is NOT BLAND and EXTRA mild like other places. It smells and tastes like the real thing. I am stuffed and wish I had room to eat more but will save for another tasty meal! My only suggestion would be to add more filling to the Vegetable Puff as it was 70% pastry and 30% filling. I will probably order the vegetable samosa next time for this reason but wanted to try something new. The Aloo Palak and Rajma (my first time trying this dish were excellent! This is hands down the best Indian food in South Jersey and maybe even the Philadelphia area as well! Keep it up MAMA's Indian! The food truly does taste like it's cooked with a Mother's love from the heart. I will recommend this place to others. Thank you for brightening up what was a not so fun day with this wonderful meal. 5/5

Hidden Gem for people looking for Indian food. If you are looking for authentic Indian food, this should in your to go list. The place has one of the best parathas and info Chinese food. In hot beverage,Tea was really good option available. The store also has options for Indian grocery shopping. The server was really friendly and nice. The place doesn’t have a good ambiance but they make up for it in terms of taste. Additionally, the seating space is good enough for one big group of 8–10 people so not a big restaurant. Restrooms were available. Parking is available as they have enough space outside.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, this was 1. The worst Indian food I’ve ever eaten 2. The most expensive Indian food I’ve ever eaten…. I’ve eaten at over 20 Indian restaurants in the tri-state area. I’ve also been to India 2 times. There was 0 flavor, I must have poured a whole salt shaker into my food and it still wasn’t enough.

Service was great, very polite and friendly. The food was everything I was hoping for. The samosas were crisp and flaky on the outside, and rich and flavorful on the inside. Everything had the perfect amount of spice and tasted fresh. I will definitely visit this place again.

We have been curious about this place and decided to walk in and check it out, and I am so happy we did. The Indian food is absolutely amazing, and the staff is even better. Our server was on point with the good suggestions that didn’t disappoint. Try the chili chicken hoagie, it is amazing!

Would love to share my experience at Mama’s Kitchen NJ , I must say, the parathas they served were absolutely delightful! From the moment they arrived at the table, the aroma was irresistible. The parathas were cooked to perfection – crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. What truly set these parathas apart was their filling. They offered a variety of options, from classic potato and onion to more exotic choices like paneer and spinach. I decided to try the paneer paratha, and it was a flavor explosion in my mouth. The paneer was fresh and seasoned perfectly, blending seamlessly with the flaky layers of the paratha. The accompaniments were just as impressive. A side of yogurt and pickle complemented the parathas beautifully, adding a tangy and spicy contrast to the savory goodness of the dish. The portion size was generous, making it a satisfying meal on its own. The service was impeccable, with the parathas arriving hot and fresh within a reasonable time. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I can't recommend these parathas enough. They were a true culinary delight, and I will definitely be returning to savor them again. If you're a fan of Indian cuisine, this place is a must-visit for their exceptional parathas!
