I
was
excited
to
try
the
Barclay
Farmstead
after
going
passed
the
sign
for
it
dozens
of
times.
It
is
relatively
easy
to
find,
and
the
entrance
leaves
you
right
into
the
main
parking
lot
in
front
of
the
Barclay
House.
I
went
there
in
the
summer,
and
the
first
part
of
the
grounds
were
taken
up
by
a
huge
garden
with
so
many
different
kinds
of
flowers,and
even
Apple
trees.
There
was
a
very
small
playground
behind
the
gardens
that
the
kids
there
seemed
to
enjoy.
When
I
was
there,the
house
was
closed,so
I
did
not
get
to
take
a
tour
of
it.
I
was
most
excited
to
check
out
the
trails,because
I
have
spent
my
life
trying
out
and
discovering
trails
in
all
parts
of
NJ.
The
first
trail
I
tried
was
the
one
on
the
edge
of
the
park,furthest
away
from
the
house.
I
was
disappointed
by
the
fact
that
a
couple
feet
in,the
trail
was
so
overgrown
with
thicket,weeds,and
stickers,that
you
could
not
go
in
any
further.
I
tried
the
rest
of
the
trails,
and
found
them
to
be
plain,with
some
litter
spread
throughout.
I
was
quite
surprised
with
the
lack
of
upkeep
because
this
is
a
small
space,
and
one
of
very
few
in
the
Cherry
Hill/Camden
County
area
of
its
kind.
Perhaps
I
went
there
in
a
time
of
major
transition;
but
I
regret
the
fact
that
I
have
to
say,that
I
would
tell
someone
to
go
elsewhere
if
they
asked
about
it.
