I am in love with this park. It has a great walking trail. One loop around the Lake is about a mile. There's so much beautiful wildlife there. I'm always spotting little chip munks and the Lake is full of turtles geese and ducks. Unfortunately the people don't mind the signs that says do not feed the water fowl. They don't realize how much harm they are causing the animals. I've seen people feed the animals things light sweet chocolate cereal and Other foods that are not even good for human consumption let alone animals. There's plenty of parking and there's also a restaurant. They are a bit pricey but there's other eateries nearby. Or you can bring a picnic. There's benches throughout the park.

21/13/2021 It’s my friend’s favorite place to watch sunset. So I joined her today to walk around the lakeside boardwalk and trail several loops to watch the birds while waiting for sunset. The lake is somehow private but the trail is open to public. You can park at the parking lot by the roadside of Lakeview Dr. South(Route 561). The best angle to watch and take shots of sunset is on the side by the road. When dawn falls, it’s fascinating to watch birds on the lake flew away while others flew back to home here. Wait until nigh falls, you will get a nice view of the reflections of lights from the lakeside restaurant ChopHouse & other buildings and the traffic. If you are lucky, you may see bright stars mirror on the water too.

One star because there are signs everywhere saying "Private Property. No fishing" and there's always people fishing when I go here. It's a nice place for the geese & turtles and I'm glad they have this lake BUT there is SO much trash in the water it's a disgrace. WHOEVER owns this needs to take better care of it for the wildlife and enforce strict fines for littering and fishing!

Very urban area. Not very peaceful. Paint factory ruins were interesting.

There is a path around this decent sized lake. There are "private property, no fishing" signs around the entire. Why would you not be allowed to fish here yet there is a path and small, sitting docks around the lake?

Beautiful and relaxing spot to enjoy.

Don't get me wrong, we enjoy going for walks here and relaxing on the benchea by the water. Though, the upkeep I a poor (give it 5 years before someone has their foot break through the wood) and there is so much wasted potential there. That empty building by the parking lot could be used for things like Punk Rock Flee Markets or geek fests/mini comic cons, etc. That gated out area could have a tennis or basketball court.

Awesome spot for a walk around the lake. Apparently there is not supposed to be any fishing swimming boating or feeding the water foul. I personally have witnessed all of the above happening. Thank God there's no Lake Police, cuz I be in jail for feeding the waterfowl. There are many geese ducks Turtles and fish. Once a year there is a visit from the swans

Very nice looking lake, But they have signs of No Fishing and No Boating aloud. Why would you do that. So unfair.

Great place to walk, great for photography. Lots of Pokestops if you play Pokemon Go and lots of water fowl to look at and picnic spots.
