I’ve been to Bam Bams so many times over the years and they’ve never let me down. Seriously one of the best barbecue joints in the state and it has a great story behind it and the owner. You can’t go wrong with any part of their menu but I always go for the brisket combo meal. They also sell meat by the pound but I’ve only had the sandwiches. Parking is pretty good even though it’s not very well marked, there’s length of space available.

I gave it three stars because the brisket sandwich was really good. Small, but good. The large drink was a small drink in most restaurants. The potato salad, was absolutely awful. It had way too much dill and was incredibly salty. Almost inedible. I included a picture to show you what you will get for $16 here ( includes the 15% tip).

I am such a big fan of the swatchos! Today I tried the baked potato swatcho. It was so good! If you like potatoes, this one is the way to go! The only think that could have made it better was a little sour cream. But the potato was huge and cooked well, the pork was tender and just fell apart. It was super tasty and I will be getting it again!

Great bbq overall! Would recommend over r&r any day! Brisket was tender, slightly light on marinade. Turkey was great with the light colored sauce (tangy). Hubby loved the Mac n cheese while I raved over the Coleslaw. And the nachos were so massive we shared but demolished them in 1 sitting. They now what they're doing! Them nachos had the perfect amount of sauce to chip ratio

Gosh DANG!! This food was phenomenal. I did a 2 year mission trip in Houston, Texas, and Bam Bams can keep up with anything I had while I was there. I ordered the brisket swachos as recommended by the staff, and I was NOT disappointed. The brisket was flavorful and smoked to perfection, and the sauce paired perfectly with it. My only regret is my stomach ran out of room before I could finish and I had to take half of it home with me.

I had the smoked turkey and loved it. No fries here. I wasn’t a fan of the potato salad. It seemed soupy to me. Baked beans didn’t do much for me either. The meat was great though and that’s what was important. My husband had the brisket and liked it a lot.

Hey they have a Pepsi Freestyle machine here. First one I've ever seen. Got some Swachos with pulled pork, mac and cheese with some ribs and brisket sandwich. The service was great and staff so friendly and helped me with some cheese I was running out of. They sold out of potatoes and a lot of their meats with only enough pork left for the nachos around 8 pm. By the time I was done eating the kitchen was closed because they were all sold out. The rolls are very soft and bounce back after every bite.

Went with a group, others had the sandwich combos and I got the ½ lb brisket. The brisket had great flavor (very natural, not a bunch of additional seasoning), and was exceptionally juicy. Was not a fan of the perceived food safety; I watched them pile pulled pork directly on to a scale that looked like it hadn't been cleaned all day, no butcher paper or anything. The meats were served just above room temperature, which is a bit scary. Potato salad was mediocre, if the brisket was served hot and the place was a bit cleaner it'd be an easy 5/5.

This place was top notch, I walked in with a group of 20 and they had us served so quickly! The meat was fresh and tasty. I loved our brisket, though wish I had gotten a brisket off a sandwich to have more of it. Also wish they had a fry option or tater tots. Overall a great experience and hope to go back eventually.

We have only eaten here once and we got turkey for thanksgiving. The service was fantastic and fast, and the price was reasonable. The turkey was not great, it was kind of dry and average. Would definitely be willing to try other BBQ here though. Also when I tried to call ahead their phone seemed to be having issues and they couldn't hear me when I called across two different phones.

#BamBamsBBQ is a local Texas style Barbecue place in Orem. Having Barbecue all over the USA we weren’t sure how they’d rank. Overall they were pretty good. We did take out as we were bringing food home to Mum. The two sides were excellent. We ordered a pint of each which was a good amount for three of us, with leftovers. The #PotatoSalad had a strong dill pickle flavor which was great to cut thru the rich meats. My husband really enjoyed it too. The #Coleslaw is more vinegar based, less creamy than some purveyors, which is my preference. The slaw had great flavor, often #BBQ coleslaws are lacking, to me, But not Bam Bams. For meats we went with three choices, a half pound each, which was enough for three of us with some leftover. #PorkRibs had good flavor and smoke, but skimpy on the meat. The #brisket had great bark, which I loved, and was moist and tasty. We went with the more fatty brisket portion, as that is where the flavor is. The #PulledPork was gorgeous. Good amount of fat and smoky flavor. I loved seeing the worker take a slab of luscious pork and pull it fresh. The three sauces were all unique and tasty. The more sweet one was molasses based which gave it great deep, sweet flavor. The more vinegar one had nice acid to it. And then the third sauce was tangy, sweet and was a favorite as it tasted more unique, Kind of a cross of the other two. Really I was surprised with how good Bam Bams BBQ was. I look forward to trying more from there.

Some of the best barbecue in the Provo area. It's nothing fancy but the food is fantastic. Lots of seating for plenty of people and they are decently quick with getting the food out. The mac and cheese is really good along with brisket and ribs. If you are looking for good barbecue in Utah this is definitely the place to go.

As someone who typically doesn’t like bbq sauce, their sauce is DELICIOUS. I got the brisket nachos. Absolutely incredible. Worth every penny.

I was told this place is good so being from Central Texas I was hopeful and drove 20 miles to check it out on a Saturday afternoon. Sadly we were given at least 2 day old re-heated brisket!! Dry as a bone and it looked as appetizing as shoe leather. It’s so insulting to be charged $28 a pound for old food I wouldn’t even feed my dog. The meat was cold and barely warm too. I am genuinely disgusted that this business believes this is acceptable treatment of customers I will never go here again. The Dr Pepper was good, but that was about it.

We tried the pulled pork nachos, the beef brisket sandwich with cheddar, the pulled pork sandwich with pepper Jack cheese, three pork ribs and some potato salad. The flavor of all the meat was very good. They had three types of bbq sauce on each table and I liked all of them. I wish they would have heated up the meat a little more (it was not very warm). The chips that came in the nachos were nothing special. The potato salad had a strong flavor of dill I think. It was good but I was tired of eating it before I finished mine. Next time I will probably order the Cole slaw or the Mac and cheese. We all agreed that this is some of the best bbq in the area and we plan to go back.

Probably the best BBQ in Utah. Passionate and award-winning owners do it Texas style and do it right. Chill atmosphere with picnic tables and butcher paper. Delicious pulled pork and brisket. Rolls, potato salad, and beans are fantastic. Get a sandwich combo with pepper jack cheese slice. This place is definitely in the regular rotation.

Excellent choice for BBQ! My wife is very particular about what is or is not considered acceptable BBQ, this place has passed the test. All the food is great, but just do yourself a favor and get the nachos with some brisket on them, I haven’t been sorry yet…pretty sure you won’t either. Check these guys out, we’re willing to drive nearly an hour from Salt Lake to get this, and I feel like you won’t be disappointed stopping in

Did a sampler of all of their meats with two sides (potato salad and baked beans). Loved their smoked meats! Their sides were average. Will come again for the meat.

We are from CAnada but have a child and grandchildren in the area and every time we come it is a must stop for lunch or dinner. It was all great but of particular note was the turkey Breast that was so juicy I bought more for take out. Brisket delicious as ever and my wife raved about the soft bun her pulled pork sandwich was part of.

Best barbecue north of the border (Texas that is!). I've had barbecue all over the US and I can say Bam Bams BBQ can go toe to toe with any of the best. If you dine in take advantage of the wide sauce selections. I don't have a favorite cause I love 'em all. Here's a little local secret, if you slip into the drive-thru and time it right, about 1/2 hour to 15 minutes before they close, they may be out of some stuff but what they do have they will serve you up double and triple portions cause they're trying to unload the last of what they have on hand so it doesn't go to waste. This tells me their BBQ is always fresh and not hold-overs from the day before and one taste confirms it. Even the sides are uncommonly delicious. If you're from the South and missing your down home BBQ or just a local looking for something better, well you've found it. But be prepared, like BBQ the world over, it's gonna get messy! To steal a line from Colonel Sanders, it's finger-lickin' good!

Tender and juicy Turkey, Brisket and Pulled Pork. Tasty and flavorful. Beans are good. Friendly and helpful staff. The only issue I have, is the buns are small, they're not normal sized buns. It seems like you get less meat. I'm not sure 😕

Sooooo good, best I've had in Utah. Liked it better than the big names in Kansas City and as good as the few places in Texas I've been. Tasty spot before a BYU game, better get there early.

Pretty good barbecue! About as good as any BBQ place I’ve been around here. I like the environment, and even the cool paper used as a plate. Pretty tasty BBQ sauce as well. I wish they had a spicy BBQ sauce option though. I love that they have the Jalepeno Cheddar Sausage option (as many places don’t). The brisket was perfect. No complaints there. Good potato salad, and OK Mac and cheese. The few goldfish crackers added don’t really do much for me. Overall, this is a solid barbecue restaurant, and I would go back.

This place is LEGIT! So delicious and totally hit the spot. It has a very relaxed feel to it and super casual (which is good when you’re barbarically slurping the last bits of goodness of the ribs you ordered). We ordered the nachos, ribs, coleslaw, potato salad, and Mac n cheese and loved every single bite! We will definitely be going back!
