Felipe, Pedro, & Nuno were so amazing. Always watching to correct technique but made sure we were safe and having fun. Filipe had incredible communication throughout the booking and scheduling process! We showed up 15 minutes late as there was a 5K in the city and other things but Nuno did not even let us apologize! It was an incredible experience great for beginners and intermediate surfers alike :) If you want that cool story of how you learned how to surf in Portugal there is no other company that I'd do it with! Amazing experience! Filipe is not only a great coach to get you on surfing board within a short time, but also is a friendly local guy with great experience and knowledge. The company was great at communication and coordinating the meeting point, transportation and the suits they were providing. 💥 100% RECOMMEND!! 💥 I had two lessons with Get Stoked on different days and it was an incredible experience. ❤ Not just the surfing but communication with people from the company helping me, answering questions and reminding me a day before. 🥰 Very easy to contact via WhatsApp instead of back and forth email. I was very nervous about location and where to go to be picked up. But through WhatsApp they were very helpful and helped my nerves. The instructors are super friendly, very good at teaching, motivating and very fun! They really highlighted the health and safety and I felt very safe even though I was in a group of people. It's very difficult surfing but on my second class there was a definite improvement thanks to amazing teaching. My hostel offered a cheaper surf class but I knew from my 1st surf class with Get Stoked that I didn't want to go else where just because i enjoyed it so much with them and knew how friendly the company is. I recommend to pay extra for the footage, very good quality from their GoPro camera, but if you plan to take more than one lesson then I would advise to pay for the footage for the last class 😉 Honestly made my whole entire holiday, one of the best experiences I've done and will be planning to continue surfing in the future as a hobby! The best activity ever! Miguel and Nuno are both great teachers with a great attitude. In our road to surfing, they have talked a lot about about the Portuguese history. After a training, we went to sea to surf and it was great. Miguel always there to push you more and more. Great for beginners.

It was an amazing experience! We had so much fun. Instructors (Miguel and Nuno) are very good teachers with good vibes. They checked on everyone in the group so you feel safe. On the road to the beach and back they give you advices about your trip in Lisbonne. And we learnt so much about the story of Portugal. I highly recommended!!!!

I had so much fun with Filipe and Miguel! They were punctual at the meeting point and did a great job of showing the group some of the sights on the short drive out to the beach. It was my first time surfing, and they did a great job teaching all the fundamentals before we got out to the water. My goal was to ride the board just once, and so I was super excited that by the end of the lesson, I was able to ride about half the waves! The guys were always nearby and ensured our group was safely enjoying the water, and kept offering helpful tips to improve technique. They provided photo and video footage soon after so I could have a nice memento of the day and take note of areas for improvement for next time. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough!

Booked a surfing experience for my boyfriend and I, both had zero experience. I had a small accident and had to postpone the class, the communication with Filipe was very smooth. The drive to the beach was short and nice. Nuno gave us a lot of introductions to the city and a lot of nice tips on going around. Unfortunately it was our last day in Lisbon but gave us one more reason to come back. Our group was small and the hygiene rules are carried out with care. We both felt very safe. During the class, both of us had great fun. Nuno is an excellent teacher. His humour and teaching method immediately ease my anxiety before going into the water with my mildly injured ankle. He also emphasised on the safety rules, such as how to fall etc, are definitely helpful for the future. In the end Filipe even sent in some nice footages of our day, it was very kind gesture and we both appreciate it a lot!Would definitely come back to the guys again if we revisit Lisbon in the future! We had a fantastic time at the yoga / surf experience - Nuno, the surf instructor was excellent; knowledgeable and friendly and also a great tour guide pointing out various landmarks on the bus journey! Definitely do this in Lisbon!

I had a great week of surfing with Filipe and his "get stoked" team. In small groups, significantly smaller than at other surf schools, I was able to significantly improve my surfing skills in just a few days. Filipe has a lot of experience and enjoys sharing his knowledge. Even outside the water, Filipe always has a valuable tip for great excursions and the best food at good prices. He also always has his GoPro with him and takes great pictures and videos of surfing.

The surf instructors were incredible and very encouraging! They were very knowledgeable about Portugal as well and even their food recommendation was great! Would definitely book with them again.

We can definitely recommend this course to everyone. We never surfed before and started loving it with the guys from Get Stoked. I booked an all-day private session to start learning surfing. Philipe and Miguel were both fantastic and very good teachers. I had no experience before and with their guidance I really felt some joyful success at the end of the day.
