Cafetaria do Museu Gulbenkian

Restaurant

👍👍 I‘m biased because I love the whole park and brutalism architecture so much and the restaurant just gives you the view and feeling. The food is nothing special but fresh, tasty and very affordable. I also liked the cantine style. Great choice if you visit the park/ area.

Great food for very cheap prices! If you happen to visit the museum (which is absolutely a must) take a break and visit the cafeteria. There is quite a diversity of plates, vegan, vegetarian...etc Try their scones (so yummy) and the dessert is also wonderful. The terrace is beautiful, so try and find a table outside!

Big dissapointment. The cappucino was overpriced and tasted like cheapest instant cofee. The cofee was totally sugary even thought we didn't asked for sugar. They even didn't bring us spoons and the servise was unpleasant. I ordered rice pudding. Again overpriced, overdosed with sugar. Only positive point about this cafeteria is the view which is perfect.

Please avoid. I can’t even describe what a disgrace of an experience we had. How can you serve a croque monsieur paid 10 € (VERY EXPENSIVE) that looks like this? It was disgusting. Plus the place was assaulted by pigeons. We had a melon and orange juice that tasted like dirty water and the hamburger was also very bad. Horrible experience altogether. Maybe the 4 stars a due to the nice view of the garden but stay only for a coffee if you really have to, otherwise eat in one of the many delicious places around.

Be careful if you are polite and smily and ask stupid questions. You are punished. You are just a one more stupid tourist who can be treated like *hit.

Very nice place. A little bit on the busy side. Which vouch for the beauty of the site and quality of food and personel

loved it!! most of the time the museum cafeterias are either expensive or the food doesn’t taste good but this one really surprised me. the prices are affordable, and i really liked the vegetable soup and the spinach pastry. also, the outside part of the cafe is in the garden of the museum which is pretty cool!

Good variety of food choices but nothing particularly fancy. Ask for an unsweetened coffee if you order coffee, otherwise they use pre-mixed sugary instant coffee. Great service though, as they happily replaced my coffee.

We had a vegetarian daily plate, daily soup, a couple of salty pastries, pasteis de nata and a cappuccino. I tried the vegetarian plate, one bite and left it aside, it was truly bad. The daily soup and the salty pastries were not as bad, but definitely not good at all. The cappuccino was way too sweet (never asked for any sugar) and not good as well. The pasteis de nata was okish, not as tasty as any other place I've tried. The deck outside is very nice to sit. The service was quite ok. The food was so bad it could get less than one star if possible...

The place is heavenly. It is a pity that the waiters can't take note when one asks for a simple glass of water or sweeter for the espresso.

The queue for food was over an hour long. Service was extremely slow. The food was only okay and the pastel de nata tasted like soap. I also saw one of the staff drop food on to a counter and scoop it up and put it back on the plate for one customer.

Beautiful! The gardens are amazing. And the coffeeshop is perfect for snacks or light meals!

Crowded around lunchtime. Several choices of daily fresh made plates. Beautiful almost hidden terrace

The restaurant is opposite the restroom of the museum. It offers delicious food at reasonable prices. You can visit the museum again after lunch in this restaurant.

Expensive and bad customer service. Price above the quality.
