Alma do Paco, means the soul of Paco and it is a beautiful event space and guest house that was lovingly handcrafted and restored by an artist over a twenty+ year period. We had the good fortune of staying here for two nights when they had a wonderful band and DJ come to play. It was such a vibe, and you could feel the love of the community that had helped design and care for the space over the years on the dance floor. I would highly recommend a visit to anyone in the area.

We spent 6 days with the Paco & Alma crew to celebrate our wedding. I'm trying to put into words how incredible our time was but it's hard because our minds were blown. the Best week ever filled with love. We took over the entire place with friends and family and absolutely everyone was in awe. Everyday we had wonderful peaceful breakfasts, lounged by the pools, let the kids run free safely, and enjoyed every nook and that magical place. We did not just had our wedding there but a large welcome BBQ a few days before, and day after hangover brunch. Everything was exceptional. BBQ dinner was relaxed vibes with 10/10 food. Wedding was stunning, low stress, and the most festive beautiful day ever Brunch was exactly what the Doctor ordered. The staff was kind, supportive, attentive, easy going, and loving. We definitely made friends and can't wait to see them again. The time we spent at Paco and Alma will go down as one of the best weeks for many of the people there. Everyone is already trying to buy Tim's cook book! Can't thank this team enough for everything they did. They do what they do exceptionally well and we can't recommend this place and the Paco / Alma family enough. You guys are all time! Love forever, B&B

Our family spent two amazing weeks at Alma Do Paço and we were met with nothing but warmth, hospitality, and a genuine interest in our wellbeing. Both the communal areas and the rooms were of high standard with everything needed and we especially enjoyed the chance to do small scale cooking in the rooms. Travelling as a family, this was a big help. Whenever we had a question or needed advice, the staff were helpful and assisted in any way they could. In short, Alma and the people of Alma made our stay a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. We will be back!

Louise and I had the most amazing and unforgettable three nights at Casa Paco D’Ilhas and Alma do Paco celebrating our wedding! Every element was unbelievable and there’s really nothing we can fault…and all of our wedding guests said the same. Approaching Casa from the main road you wouldn’t know what a beautiful oasis awaits you through the gate - it’s such a hidden gem. Once inside, we’re greeted but one of the amazing members of staff as if we were family, the atmosphere is so relaxed that despite the usually stressful day before the wedding, we immediately felt at ease! Jelle and Justin (along with the support of Caro and Chapo over at Alma) have taken a huge amount of time and care to make each room comfortable, unique and beautiful - which ever room you stay in you’ll feel perfectly at home! Alongside the beautiful rooms, the amazing staff, and the relaxed atmosphere the other huge selling point for the Casa is the food…the kitchen team are so, so great and what they prepare is fantastic. We had a few wedding guests with dietary restrictions but nothing was too much trouble for the team, everyone was catered for. And if we thought the food was great on the wedding day, the following day we had a BBQ and Pool Party - it was some of the best BBQ’d food we’d tasted. If you’re looking for a unique, atmospheric, beautiful place, with amazing staff and fantastic food you should look no further than Casa Paco D’Ilhas and Alma do Paco…actually, keep looking as we want the place just for us ;). Only kidding, you would be hard placed to find a better venue. The place now holds a huge piece in our hearts and we can’t wait to return. The GoodKnights x PS. More beautiful than we could have dreamed! We celebrated our wedding at Casa Paco d'Ilhas and Alma do Paco on the first weekend in July. We were there from Friday to Monday, with all our friends and family. We had the most amazing time we could have imagined and that was especially due to the atmosphere that Jelle, Justin, Chaplin with their whole team create there. It's just magical and so incredibly relaxed! The food also deserves a special mention. We opted for a vegetarian meal and all the guests were so enthusiastic! Whether it was a BBQ, wedding dinner or brunch on Sunday, it was all incredibly delicious! We will always have great memories of our wedding with you. Thank you so much for this! Marta & Adrian

A very relaxing place to stay just outside of Ericeira and Ribamar. Great for solo travellers and families. The European breakfast each morning was delicious. A short walk to Ribamar where you’ll fine restaurants, cafes, supermarket and a bar. Plenty of car parking available.
