😠 Awful service, they want me to pay my beer right away that I didn’t have a sip yet. The guy next to me had the time to finish is drink before paying it, they are doing racial profiling!!! I asked the waitress why I have to pay before drinking, she told me it’s the boss decision. Run away if you can! People often mention Irish, good, staff, beer, Guinness, great, pint, friendly, drinks, time,

Dec 2023: Works Do! Our third trip to Lisbon. Such a beautiful place, especially Christmas! The Corner Irish pub could do with a little make-over and sprucing up. The Guinness wasn't that great and the decor inside was very tired! Nov 2018: Works Do! Sep 2016: Our first time!

My friend and I went to Lisboa for 6 days, as soon as we found out that if you want to party you have to go to Bairo Alto, we went there five nights in a row. We found this Irish Pub and stayed there basically every night to party and meet other people :) If like Guinness and good service go there 👍🏼 The Barkeeper’s, especially one guy with shorter hair, are very nice

Charming place. The staff was not rude nor were they happy. The Guinness here had a flat top and slightly bitter. I had 2 and then moved on to the next Irish Pub. No COVID measures either. You can sit at the bar and it was over crowded (reminds you of the times before the pandemic).

Not too crowded on a match day. There are two screens and one is delayed than others so not a good way to watch football if you sit the other side.

The corner is a typical Irish joint. It's the kind of a pub that can be found anywhere in the world where people imbibe ale. it is as run-of-the-mill as it gets, down to the musical acts performing pub-hymns on a Saturday night. An OK place, if you feel like a pint, otherwise nothing special.

Very bad Dj. He did not wanted to put Dua Lipa on karaoke. Very disappointed cause she is THE icon of the moment but he is not.

Just a pint. Food is limited to fish and chips or chips. In whichever city I do t miss Irish pub and a pint of Guinness is a must to tradition for me. It’s a small place managed by two efficient ladies who are both friendly and courteous. A Guinness pint was €6.

While the vibe is okay, the beer is not. Yes, they have Guinness and even Kilkenny, but the problem is that they either don’t know how to pour it properly or they cheap out on nitrogen canisters. As a result the beer doesn’t have an expected creamy head and texture. Waste of product :( I would never say this under normal circumstances, but you’re better off with getting a can of Guiness - the widget will get a better texture than this place serves on tap which is unexpected.

Fantastic pub in Barrio Alto. Clubs and Fado joints surround this friendly outpost. The employees are not Irish but that's ok they have the friendly spirit to make everyone feel welcome. Plenty of sitting at the bar and some high tops. Soccer is always on the two big TV's inside and some good music is usually playing. Cocktails are simple but generous. Excellent whiskey selection, Jameson, tullamore dew, johnny among others. Guinness, Kilkenny, and several other Irish and American beers are on tap with a knowledgeable staff to serve you. Just overall a great little bar to try. I really enjoyed my visits to this location and would come back anytime I'm in Lisbon.

The personnel is just amazing! Really nice little Irish pub! You can even bring your food or they order something for you from different restaurants. Had a great evening with many international people. The Barkeeper mixed some German drinks for us that are not even on the menu. Very welcoming! Also there is live music at about 22:00/23:00. We went there pretty early so it was almost empty at the beginning but later on the pub was completely full :)

Ok place, it was empty when we got there. But we paid €5 euros for baby guinness shots which was just too much. •Tip: Go to the next Irish pub around the corner and you’ll find them for €4 (still pricey but better) and a better vibe!!

An Irish Pub with a real Irish feel. They do everything to make you comfortable. Quick and correct and the smiles do wonders. If you want to feel welcome in a pub, this is the place to be!

A place where you can go with friends and spend a very nice time. Friendly staff and amazing guinness!

  • 5/5 Beatriz C. 1 year ago on Google
The atmosphere is incredible. The only thing that I considered negative: they only had chips and tacos to accompany the drinks. I'd had more beers there if there was something like fish and chips to accompany all the alcohol. Also, if you tip the bartenders they'll ring a bell.

Great staff, good atmosphere and decent prices. The sound system desperately needs an upgrade though. Spending around €200 will dramatically increase the sound quality.

Great Irish pub in Bairro Alto. I had *a few* too many sherbets in here on my last night of a weekend in Lisbon and left my wallet. The owner very kindly posted it out to the UK for me, so run by very nice people too. Good Guinness

Not opening for all Ireland semi finals is a huge oversight on the managers behalf. O’gilligans is the only Irish pub in town that opens before 5 meaning it takes all the business the corner and cheers miss out on. Surely will be open earlier for both all Ireland finals?

Nice pub . What you see is what you get. The prices are so very high compared to the prices in Portugal and for no reason. Crowd and drinks are all as expected. The only thing is that the place had this weird smell of wetness in side of it as if you are in a pool

An Irish place without good cider and beer options and they had a real problems about the availability of the options. We asked a few cocktails that written in the menu but none of them was available so why are you even open the bar. Just keep it close until you handle the logistics. They acted like it’s our problem rather than them. Ok next time I’ll visit only if I like to drinks sagres and watch the tv without any questioning

It gives the vibe and atmostphere similar to a UK pub, you'll definitely love the vibe as a tourist or a local. Would definitely recommend if you have to watch some sports or just grab a cheap pint.

We watched the Ireland- France Rugby match in The Corner Irish pub. It was packed, as you'd expect, but we found seats. The atmosphere was terrific. Plenty of tv's to see the game. Service was very good. Seàn behind the bar was very friendly and fast. The girls outside the bar, especially Lauren, were great. They didn't serve food, but you could order food in and eat it. A crowd of friendly Irish fans ordered pizzas and shared it with us. The drink was good and not over expensive. All in all, the pub was very well run and we would recommend it. Mary+Paul
