It's a really nice place to visit, the ambiance is unique and worth seeing, it's provocative for quite open-minded. The prices are fine, the waiters are tired but quite polite and attentive. It was a bit strange to get a the bill right after getting the first order but later you understand that it makes sense as in the crowd they can easily loose lots of money. However I wouldn't suggest this place after midnight for those who come to enjoy the ambience because it becomes a usual mess of any discobar (loud, crowded, too drunk people etc). Apart of that I'd like to tell about unpleasant for us situation: they don't have food and two of us (we were four) went outside to have something. When they returned the security guy didn't let them in. And our friends even had their belongings inside. No explanations helped. So we had nothing to do but also leave the place. I told the security guy that it's not proper and didn't get even sorry in return, but an arrogant smirk. It was nice to know this unique place but unlikely I'll come again

Great bar in Lisbon! The atmosphere is so chill. Music isn't too loud to talk but loud enough if you want to dance. Really fun decorations. The drinks are great too and not too expensive. Bar staff is very friendly and they mix very well. Great experience, definitely recommend.

It was a bit chilled when we visited because it was a Monday evening but it was still super cool, the ambience and vibes are great and the decor is amazing. My partner had the whisky based cocktail, can't remember the name, and was amazing!

Such a cool bar!! Not going to lie, when you first walk in it's a bit overwhelming and you're thinking... is this a brothel?? Oh wait, it was a brothel turned bar 🤣🤣 The vibes were so cool and the cocktails were phenomenal, 10/10 recommend starting (and maybe even ending) your night here!

Great atmosphere, cool decor. We visited this place by chance one evening and really enjoyed our time. The cocktails were delicious with a variety of choices all with unique flavours and not packed with sugar or overly sweet. The music was really cool, had a jazz/electronic vibe which was quite different but really good. Music wasn’t so loud that you couldn’t speak also which was nice. Only critique is we kept asking if there was a show, the stage was setup and read while we were there they sometimes have live music, and kept getting a “maybe”. We waited for a while and nothing happened so that was a little annoying

What is this drink!? It's been driving me bonkers. It was so delicious. Almost taste like a orange sherbet. Pretty sure it was whiskey based. Anyone? PS Love this bar. Love the vibe. Love the staff. Love everything here. If you are in town, you must go!!!

Had a really fun time here - everything about it is faultless! Comfortable seating area (sofas and chairs), live music performances, inside and outside bar (for the smoking area, wow), the toilets are really cool even. Crowd inside was also a nice bunch so that topped it off! Drinks are priced as expected for a place like this i.e. 9.50 Euros for a cocktail.

Impressive and very interesting location, allegedly a former brothel... Quite overwhelming and the same time, relaxed bar. We went early evening, it wasn't too full, but I suppose it can get pretty crowded later. I saw two venues so there must be some events as well. Cocktails between 7 and 12 Euros mostly, there's a small surcharge applied for night which officially starts at 22:00. Highly recommended!

Different bar like interior. You can only walk in and see it, but I recommend you sit down, order a drink so you can enjoy the atmosphere and step back 150 years in time. Their cocktails are very nice.

Usually when traveling I won’t go to the same spot more than twice to venture, but I was in Lisbon for 5 days and came here every night. Best night life I’ve ever experienced. The diversity of people across the world, the friendly bartenders, classic 80’s music, the disco ball towards the bathroom, the balcony. I also lost my drivers license here and I was fortunate enough to get it back my last night before traveling again.Thank you to the kind staff Being from NYC, I’ve always held it the highest of standards, but after going to “Pensão Amor”, I can honestly say this has been my favorite bar/club I have ever been to in the world. So many good memories in such a short time.

Retro and unique interior designs. I had mocktail Lychee Connection€6, has lychee raspberries lime and lemongrass, which is perfectly suit for those who can’t drink that much. My only complaint is the ice are way too much.

Modern day Bohemia recreated. Absolutely loved this place. The vintage posters, paintings, and old library full of sex books was a hoot. Great selection of cocktails and lots of little rooms. It even has love shows and a sex shop. You would think it's tacky, but bizarrely it is artistic

It was really fun! We kinda ended up by chance there. There was really good love music and the cocktails were great. The Bar tenders very helpful and great service overall. I recommend it to all my friends visiting the city! Haha

My favorite bartender, best I've had in my entire life (seriously). Kudos to Lipton! Overall I went back to Pensao Amor five times in a two week trip; it was my favorite place in all of Lisbon. The atmosphere, the people, the variety of rooms for dancing or chatting, it was all amazing.

Blown away by this place! From the decor to the service and cocktails, everything was top notch. Mario was super friendly and made us the most amazing cocktails! All of the drinks were well balanced and delicious and accompanied by a unique atmosphere. We had four different cocktails here and loved every single one! By far our favorite experience in Lisbon so far!

Love the vibe here. The crowd is more mature and chill. The place is clean. The best thing is the cocktails though. They are made with extreme care and are amazing all the way through.

This bar was amazingly beautiful and trendy. My boyfriend and I came on a rainy night in Lisbon. The live music was awesome! The bartender was extremely accommodating and gave us free ginja shots when he didn’t have an ingredient for a drink I’d ordered. Such a dope dude. Then we got a prime corner table and enjoyed our night! My drink was DELICIOUS, unfortunately I forget the name. Ultimately very positive experience, thank you so much!

Formerly a brothel turned into a bar/dance club. It’s got a somewhat hidden entrance, which upon entering you’ll see some of the past Art on the walls. There is a dance floor, which is quite busy and further beyond that is a beautiful sitting and cocktail area. The whole house is true to its roots. It’s still touristy but interesting to see it’s past.

The best cocktails I have tasted anywhere. Kinky place, good music. My favorite bar in Portugal.

Very unique place to be, the cocktails are very nice. Service can be a bit of hit or miss - last time I was here with a friend of mine, it was just the two of us at the bar but still we had to wait about 10 minutes to be served. Other days service has been excellent though. One point that I'm really upset about is the fact they have a goldfish in a (very small) bowl without any plants or decoration for it to hide. Hope they'll give the fish a better home 🙏

Great place, exciting decor, fantastic service, various entertainment experience, even if you enter before it’s getting crowded, like before 11pm. Whether enjoying live music with a drink in hand and a free chair to take, which later transforms onto a dance floor, or experiencing crazily decored rooms with friends old and just met.

An awesome find on pink street! Attention to detail is impeccable: tasteful art for the open minded! The music made the various eras pictured in the room come to life… staff friendly and kind. Drinks reasonably priced. Never a dull moment in beautiful Lisboa!

A cute bar on Rua Nova do Carvalho (aka Pink Street), cosy little tables and nice music. They even had a pole :) I will be back in summer 😎

We waited for a waiter for a while so we went to the bar and got our own drinks. Also, not sure what happened but we ordered a cocktail and reveived wine, we drank it anyway since they charged like 3 euro for it and not the 9 euro cocktail price. But if they were out or something, just tell us. It was a very nice and lively place, they played techno house ish music as well

This is a good place. Good DJs and the poledance is a plus for those who enjoy playing performers. Most of the staff is also really good people. However, there is a tattooed guy in the bar the treat people badly. Yesterday, for some reason, he wanted me to reach out to a girl who left the bar without paying. He shouted at me and basically expelled me from the bar. I talked to the manager a few minutes after and apparently the situation was taken care.

Popped in twice during my week in Lisbon. It was early afternoon so fairly quiet, imagine it’s packed later on. Very cool bar with a very interesting history - I wish the walls could talk! Bar staff all friendly and worth a visit, even if it’s just to have a nosey around. You can enter it from Pink Street or from the road above.

Got in line i think 12:40 am Fri/19 Aug. Got in about 1 am since line moved reasonably fast. Cool bouncer, no entry fee. Nice lounge, gets kinda hot around dancefloor, so chilled on the patio. Euro 5 for 40 cl Super Bock draft.

I didn’t even have the time to reach the door that the guy at the door told that men with tank tops could not come in while the woman in front of me had a tank top… I don’t see no reason to refuse me the entrance but when a girl came out telling me that i did not miss nothing due to the boredom of the club…

The place itself is a really nice spot to stop in and have a drink after a long day of walking. We came very early and I wish the jet lag would have allowed us to stay later because I heard they have live music. The service was just ok. The servers seemed more interested in getting us in and out vs ensuring we have a nice experience. We would have definitely stayed for a few drinks but they brought our bill along with the first round and the asked us for the menus back a few minutes later.

My experience was not good, the barista was super rude when explaining a simple silly fact, no politeness, extremely rude. The drinks for sure , very well made , but the barista's service disappointed me . I do not intend to return.
