I’ve had to wait a few days before I left a review, I was so angry and upset at the time, like other reviewers we thought we’d splash out on a cocktail at the end of our stay on Lisbon, it’s a great spot, amazing views, also the worst service I’ve ever experienced and I won’t be 55 again. We had to wait over half an hour for our drinks, despite asking twice. When they arrived they were very average, and not cheap either. Go and look at the view, then leave. Also I had a rotten piece of mint in my Mojito (see photo) which was mostly ice anyway.

I definitely recommend this place! Everything was AWESOME except for slow, inattentive (but friendly) service. Went here for a wonderful dinner date and was delighted by the live music and atmosphere. The location and layout of the restaurant make for a perfect view and cozy, aesthetic feel. Cocktails were great, all the food was delicious. Tuna steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned and I highly recommend the goat cheese salad! They seem to be a bit short staffed though, so expect a leisurely pace and don’t come starving. Overall, it was an excellent evening,

The view here is nice, overlooking the water and the bridge. Food and drinks are okay.

Nothing too fancy, but it was all done perfectly! Great food and a great view. I would return back here. On top of this, the waitress was the best waitress that I have had for years. Her English wasn’t perfect (my Portuguese is terrible) but she was unencumbered by her capacity to care for us well. Her attentiveness was incredible. Give her a raise and keep her around as she treats customers extremely well. Thanks!

Great little place when everything else around is closed for nap time or fado night prep time. Staff is great and the view is very nice. Calm place located by Ancient Art Museum. Good sangria!

The location is really good, and the view of the docks and the bridge is cool. There is also a very convenient parking space. However, the drinks and service was just about average, we didn't try the food. The music was terrible. The most disappointing part was that we were basically told we needed to pay and leave at about 00:45, because they close at 1am. I think this could have been handled better, I mean, it is summer in the city, there are polite ways this could be handled and there is money to be made.

Great atmosphere with a view of the river. Miguel, the bartender, tailored the cocktails to our specific tastes. Try the Mexican Spicy and the Basil Chick. Both are delicious cocktails. We did not try the food there. It is right next to the Museum of Ancient Art, so a perfect stop after a day at the museum.

Food was okay. Had the burger and sweet potato fries. The dip was amazing- a lot of garlic… so good ! Drinks were decent

Went here because someone said the views were extraordinary. They did not disappoint. Drinks were good, staff friendly. Nice place.

Great cocktails and friendly service. The view was absolutely gorgeous and could even see the Christ statue on the other side of the river. We arrived an hour before sunset on a Friday and had no problem getting a prime seat. Service was prompt and very friendly. The downside here was definitely the food. We ordered 3 starters and were left unimpressed. The tuna picapau was not really even edible from our perspective as it was overcooked. Fortunately we weren't there for dinner so we weren't terribly disappointed. We were there for drinks and view and Le Chat definitely delivered on that front!

The view...is great! Sadly, the price of the meals vs the quality/quantity doesn't quite hit the spot. The food arrived lukewarm and the meat was not a lot considering the price. My friend and I ordered the same and he agreed that the experience (food wise) was a let down. To be fair, we were a group of about 15 or so and that is always a challenge. I can say that I don't see myself going back and more than likely (if someone were to ask) I wouldn't recommend the visit. Service was good and friendly and as I said, the view is just wow!

Very nice restaurant, with a beautiful view on the port of lisbon. The food is VERY nice and spot on for the price. A very large choice of different meal and alcohol. Just on the side of the museum arte antiga, so you can plan a stop after the museum. A very nice way to restore a bit.

Food is very bad and the prices are extremely high . The tapanade paste tasted like fish ! The butter is tasteless. Bacalao main course comes with a sweet cream as liquid as water , mixed with the bacalao together tastes like medicine, yack!!!! And the price is 26euros!!!!!!!! Plate of rice with some duck sliced tastes less than average priced 20 euros!!!! Long island ice tea tastes like lemon juice! And you call it catch me !? I will never try to catch this restaurant again! I don’t recommend it at all ! Go find another job guys ! I hope this is helpful!

We enjoyed a delicious lunch at Le Chat. The food and the views were great, but the service was really cool, Carolina attended us with her best smile. I totally recommend the experience ❤

Food was good, so was the view. Unfortunately the service was really slow as there wasn't enough staff for a busy restaurant. That being said, they were really friendly so can't be too annoyed with it.

Good spot for a cocktail. I would recommend this place for aperitif rather than for dinner, even if octopus there is amazing (but in general menu does not have many main dishes). Service is just perfect, the waiter is very friendly. Until 20:30 there is a life music 😍 and amazing view

We were there some years ago when there were loungers on the terrace where you could relax and take in views of the bay. Now it’s all tables cafe style. The views and cocktails still great though.

Nice atmosphere and views. We went for lunch. Service was slow but v friendly. Food was light and healthy at a good standard. Needs a little bit of sparkle...

Come here for the view... it’s almost like you’re floating next to the river :) we’ve been here multiple times and each time the service is great. Super friendly, big smiles. We had an appetizer, the prego sandwich and a few glasses of wine with generous pours. Unfortunately, some of the appetizers were stale/mixed with freshly fried ones. I think it was the breadsticks or something that came in a basket (I don’t remember exactly what it was as it’s been a few months). But the overall impression was good :)

Awful, awful food, service, even draft beer tasted strange. We didn't finish our food and drinks and just left. As a local, I must say this is one of the worst restaurants I've been to in Lisbon, the view doesn't save it either.

Le Chat is situated in an amazing location. From there you can see Lisbon cost. It is easy to reach from the harbour or from the city center (you can walk there. It is 20 Min from Le consulat). The food is very well presented and delicious. The staff is very well educated. Affordable price.
