👍👍 Don’t be put off by the extreme hipster vibe - this place is great! The food is traditional Portuguese with a little modern twist, perfect to share and keep ordering more dishes (which we did). The staff is very attentive and the prices are not expensive. Bonus points: they take the pandemic and leg... Don’t be put off by the extreme hipster vibe - this place is great! The food is traditional Portuguese with a little modern twist, perfect to share and keep ordering more dishes (which we did). The staff is very attentive and the prices are not expensive. Bonus points: they take the pandemic and legal restrictions seriously. A fantastic experience.

One of the coolest and tastiest places in Lisbon, maybe even all of Portugal. I have been to plenty restaurants here in Portugal and this place is everything you need. It has a cool young staff that are friendly not rude. The kitchen is open and they all look confident and happy to be there. The presentation of the food is stellar! And the taste is even better. The space is also a music venue sometimes so the vibe is like eating at a gig or before a gig. So don't forget after dinner on some nights there is always some kind of show. Thanks for always proving me right when I bring friends to the best place in Lisbon to eat and dance!

Great experimental food mixed with traditional Portuguese twist, always really tasty, set in a really fun, industrial style Graca building. The menu is hand drawn on an old tile wall, which adds to the charm and always served with smiles from a young alternative team. Then the back room often hosts a mix of live music, talks, etc. you can transition into if that tickles your fancy!

The food is unreal. My favorites were the Borrego, the pork, and the cabbage....but everything we ordered was just perfection. Can't wait to come back! Great vibe

Excellent, locally sourced dishes. House-made ginger beer with perfect balance of sweet & bite. Owner was patient & happy to explain menu in English as well as Portuguese. So popular that nighttime brings a line of people queuing on the sidewalk to get in.

Reall good place to have a nice lunch! I had a celery soup and pipacau with coriander rice. And my friend had the spicy beef salad! Will definitely come back.

Great unassuming restaurant, funky atmosphere, friendly staff, and great food. A unique twist on Portuguese food, but go early as they can fill up fast. Menu is hand written on the wall, anything crossed out or with an X means they are out.

Yummy yum. Cool place, some great veg plates. would love to see even more vegan bits here. Kinda fuss free but flavourful. Sadly gonna have to deduct a star for bad service; a bit unfriendly and cold

Definitely has a vibe, I went in late after it was recommended by a bartender nearby. Menu is just written on the wall, with marks next to what’s not available, servers were busy but helpful, and food was great. Some of the best I’ve eaten in Lisbon.

I like the young and welcoming atmosphere in Damas. The service is impeccable, with the waitress being very attentive and helpful with menu recommendations. The food itself is delicious. The majority of the dishes are for sharing and I love it! I will definitely be returning for future meals.

Delicious food with fresh ingredients. Lovely and welcoming staff. The tuna dish we got was absolute incredible. The food is served family-style, so we ordered 3 dishes of the waiter’s choice. It functions as a bar with dj’s or live music in the evening.

Had a nice lunch offer, you can choose in between fish, meat and vegetarian dish. Soup as a starter could have been more salty, but the kofte (meat ball) with the sweet potato was really good! The other dishes looked and sounded amazing too

Amazing food and great 🌈 helpful staff. A reservation is recommended as it was packed. We had hummus and the black squid risotto, which was delicious, an absolute must visit and for amazing food and atmosphere.

A friend recommended this place and I totally see why. Food and drinks were amazing, the staff was very friendly (although they might get a bit overwhelmed when it gets busy) and the environment was really diverse and inclusive. We enjoyed it so much that we actually went there twice during our 5-days stay in Lisbon :) I would recommend to book a table in advance as it gets crowded during peak hours.

Extremely delicious, unique flavours and tons of options, including a lot of vegan options as well. Accessible pricing! Pleasant setting, super friendly and helpful service. Will absolutely be going back!! Really recommend trying the spicy steak salad, it was so damn tasty.

On the high recommendation of a friend I had to visit Damas on my recent trip to Lisbon, and it didn’t disappoint. I was there early as I had to catch a flight later in the day, but the staff were very welcoming and gave me some great recommendations. Delicious cocktails and the food was one of the best meals I’ve had in Portugal. Fish super fresh and perfectly cooked. Will be back as soon as possible!

We came to Damas on a weekday night, without a booking and they were able to accommodate us. I really like how the menu is written on the wall, and also the selection of items. We ordered the arroz verde, porco, tuna crudo, and the tuna belly with peaches. All of the items were flavourful, and not too heavy. The standout item was definitely the tuna crudo - it was buttery and fresh fish that was paired with a really nice light sauce. Honestly the best crudo I have ever had. Overall, staff was really helpful and nice, especially in explaining the menu. Would definitely return to Damas if I was in Lisbon!

Damas is a gem. Food can be excellent, however it can also be inconsistent. I prefer weekdays since the service is hit or miss when it gets full… energy is usually buzzing

Nice place, I was there for lunch twice. A bit hipsterish style, but the food was delicious and flawless. I would recommend! The toilets should be seen as part of an art project. However, they were clean. I think.

We ordered three dishes: Borrego, rice with mushrooms, and fried beans. The Borrego was delicious and tender, and the rice with mushrooms complemented it well. However, we didn't like the fried beans. Overall, it was super good, and we loved the vibes.

i came here for lunch. i wish i have time to come back for other dishes. i had the grilled prawns and tomato salad. both were soooo good. the flavors were so tasty and spot on. i wishi had some bread to soak up the salad dressing and the prawns sauce. i wish i had the stomach to try more dishes then and there. everything looked and sounded so good. the server was so nice and translated the whole menu for me 😅. lovely and very affordable tapas place! go when it’s not busy. my best meal in lisbon.

A local friend recommended them. Food and drinks are amazing, atmosphere is great. Very diverse and inclusive, felt really safe there. Maybe book a table in advance though, there's a high demand.

This place is next level. The drinks and food are great, and the spot is really nice. It gets busy and the staff can get overwhelmed. So try to be nice because they are.

This place is amazing! The food was fantastic, and everything on the menu was full of great taste and variety. I recommend the falafel. The service was also great, the waitresses are really busy and may not have time to chat, but don’t be shy to ask questions about the menu. The menu is also painted inside the bar area where you can go see it to make ordering quicker

We weren’t blown away by the food or the drinks at this place, but the place has a cool vibe to it so we still really recommend it! We didn’t really know what to order so we asked the personnel to put something together for us. The suggestion was 4-5 dishes for two people so we asked for two meat, two fish, and one veggie. IT WAS A LOT (even for us that can eat quite much) The fish dishes were definitely the best in our opinion.

Best restaurant I've been to in Lisbon without competition, everything was delicious, the atmosphere is brilliant, crew is super nice and helpful! The only disappointing experience I had was returning the next day to realize they were fully booked... Do not miss out!

Just walked past this place and thought we’d stop in for lunch. I’m glad we did! Portuguese fusion with a lot of vegan choices. We shared green bean tempura with a homemade tomato chutney, fresh tomato salad, garlic and chilli prawns, and raw tuna with the most delicious oil mixture. These chefs obviously love experimenting with fresh ingredients and it works well. Great service

Great vibes and drinks. We couldn’t read the menu written on the wall as it was in Portuguese and they kindly recommended and translated for us. Went ahead with 4 dishes which were recommended to us. Lamb with almond, pork dish with wrap, squid cilantro rice and fried tapioca. Especially enjoyed the lamb which was tender and flavorful 😊 Service was amazing, enjoyed the experience.

Very cool venue with hipster vibes. The place has a local flavour but in a nice not alarming way. The plates are interesting and different with lots of flavour. The vegan options are less attractive in my eyes but still worth a try. Not the kind of place I will go to for the most high end experience but more for an authentic feel of new Portuguese dining. We took 3 dishes for two people nad it was more than enough. Very recommended:)

Fantastic spot for large tapas type meal. Ordered 6 dishes for 4 and a 1/2 liter Sagres each 🍺. Good thing everything was super tasty 🤤 with bright flavors across the palatial spectrum 😋! They were very helpful to the illiterate, just let them know what you like and you won’t go wrong.

Loved this place. Very laid back, the decor doesn’t do the food or drinks justice! Lovely service. Get there early as it gets busy fast. Also staff on hand to translate menu.

If you are vegan, sometimes eat vegan, or have a vegan friend that you’re trying to impress, come here immediately! The space is a queer friendly haven with delicious food that is perfect to share. Drinks are flowing and there’s a space in the back where they sometimes have dance parties. This is the best spot in Lisboa!! RUN, don’t walk here.

Unfortunately we waited almost 1h to get seated. After we’ve been seated it took them another 20 minutes to notice us. When we ordered, a couple of dishes were already sold out and it was hard to decide what to take, especially when not speaking portuguese. Nevertheless, the dishes were delicious and the vibe at this place was good!

This was our first meal in Lisbon and we really enjoyed the vibe. The drinks was soooo good (forgot to take a pic). The food was pretty good though we didn't love the tuna. The soupy fish dish and the yuca were fantastic.

Hip little spot with friendly staff who spoke great English. They took time to explain the menu which was written in Portugese. Food came out quick and was very tasty. Great service and delicious cocktails!
