Wonderful and tasty brunch located in a vibrant part of Lisbon not too far from the centre. We got the avocado sourdough toast with tomatoes and halloumi - it was very delicious. The iced coffee with orange peel was so unique and refreshing.

The google reviews hyped up the place for me. The prices I saw had me expecting great brunch treats. The end result was pretty mid. It was okay. It wasn’t bad, certainly was not great. The food was overpriced. A really small cup of hot chocolate was €4.50 with an additional €1 up charge for alternate milk. (It was a good cup of hot chocolate, just not for that price) Their fruit bowl was overpriced for a small bowl of chopped fruit. The atmosphere was pretty basic. Chairs are not ideal for taller or larger people. (Low seats, no back support) The food was okay, but overall I was left unimpressed, uninspired and dissatisfied with how much I paid for it. I will not be retuning to this place

Had brunch here on a Sunday late morning/early afternoon. Walked in and got seated straight away. Within 5 minutes all of the other tables were full and there was a queue at the door. Service was excellent: attentive and friendly. The coffees were nice, and my smoked salmon omelette was good, but the star of the show were the corn fritters with guac (Brissie) my wife ordered. We'll be going back just for those alone! Got a brownie to go and it was so good!

Beautiful little space and food was great. The staff were initially super nice and warm. They seem a little annoyed even if you keep ordering coffee but sit and read. Great for having a meal, but maybe not to spend your afternoon chilling.

We came in this morn for breakfast. Blueberry pancakes! We both decided. With lattes of course. Coffee was excellent. Nice and strong. Service was good too. Great atmosphere. The pancakes were good. Think they could benefit from a little more blueberries or syrup and the pancakes are thick and a little dry. No matter, they were tasty and we did not complain.

Delicious Aussie style brunch. We had the breakfast bagel and the salmon rostis. Both great and up with the best breakfasts we had on. The cold brew was great though the iced latte is strong so consider that! We waited for maybe 15-20 mins outside but in our opinion worth it!

A lovely buzzing brunch spot in Lisbon with a menu offering various options. There is no outdoor seating but the wide open windows make it feel airy and light. Our food was good but the cheese toastie lacked sauce and a bit of flavour but the scrambled egg plate is exactly what was expected. The coffee was great and service was very friendly.

Really cute chill cafe located in a cute area; guessing the owners are Australian based on the menu. Good coffee and great food, super friendly service

I would say this is one of the most popular brunch spots in Lisbon! This lovely Australian Portuguese cafe is located in the Beautiful Rustic neighborhood of Bairro Alto🌹 The streets remind me of San Francisco!! Really lovely touristy area💖 It’s a small cafe with a huge open window for fresh air which I think is a wonderful idea! Our waiting time luckily was about 5 minutes! I’m not sure if they accept phone bookings! As for the food, it was delicious and fulfilling💖 The pancakes were very fluffy, our eggs were made perfectly with Love!! The fresh orange juice was divine!! My cappuccino was so creamy and tasty, one of the best I’ve had so far in Lisbon! The staff were very accommodating and friendly!! Also, their serving plates are beautifully colored with fresh blue streaks!! Very well chosen!! There were many tourists there, so I guess it’s highly reviewed and spoked about!! Absolutely recommended!!

Absolutely amazing place! Great choice and fabulous taste. I’ve tried avocado toasts with halumi grilled cheese. It served with small tomatoes in lightly spice sauce. And the bakery is also good, macaroons broke my heart 😋

Good breakfast (8.5/10) And for a speciality coffee shop i was disappointed a little (7/10). Why adding sparkle chocolate on a supposed high end coffee? Service was very good.

Delicious food, super kind personal and great coffee - even the cappuccino is tasty! This place is popular so there’s usually a bit of a wait. Nothing Portuguese about this place, but hey that’s probably not what you’re looking for either.

Expensive and disappointing. Smashed avocado toast for 12.50 with only one egg. Toast is good but spicy, be careful. Cappuccino for 3.50 + 1 euro for oat milk (really?). Small and not tasty. Don’t recommend to visit this place if you want to have a great breakfast.

Lovely place in the heart of Lisbon, it's a super small restaurant so you might have to queue up. What I loved the most was that whilst having breakfast you could see the old trams going past, so it's a good spot for a picture! We went there for breakfast, so I ordered the Mill's roti which comes with two potato rotis, smoked salmon, tzatziki, and a poached egg. I also had the iced latte which is a bit on the expensive side for the amount you get. Overall it was a good breakfast, the service was really good and they speak very good English.

This became my favourite breakfast venue. The closest I found to an English breakfast with a healthy side of avocado on sourdough toast. I did also smash the blueberry pancakes after on a few occasions. Nice little trendy spot!

Rustic, laid back brunch place. We were seated promptly and had attentive service. Staff was accommodating to menu changes to make things vegetarian, which was appreciated. We had a delicious brunch including- cafe, chocolate croissants, salmon bagel, breakfast bagel and classic breakfast. Everyone left happy!

Disappointed. Perfect example of where the hype doesn’t match the hype. The food was ok, nothing exciting but priced high. The premises is also pretty basic and bland. Service was pleasant not issues there.

Fast service. Delicious and freshly made dishes. Come early as this place get crowded quickly. Flat white is great. The Bondi which is an avocado with halloumi cheese toast is very delicious. If you happen to be in Lisbon do miss the opportunity to have an tasty breakfast in this place.

For sure the best place in the city (or maybe Portugal) for breakfast. Super friendly staff, super fresh food and no doubt they have the best coffee! My wife has a gluten and lactose allergy but also she enjoyed a great start of the day 😃

  • 4/5 Ying H. 2 years ago on Google
Nice breakfast place. Typical Australian type of food. Trendy, 'healthy', and very popular these days. They serve the usual sourdough, avocado toast, eggs, kale etc and have enough vegetarian options. The Peanut butter & banana vegan smoothie really stood out! Delicious.

This is my "go to" place for coffee and simple breakfasts when in Lisbon (my other is Fauna and Flora). Staff are really great. The baristas are amazing and make excellent cappuccinos -- great espresso pulls, milk/foam combination perfect, and love the designs. The breakfasts look amazing, yet I usually just get a croissant or banana bread. Many places to have coffee and breakfast in the area; The Mill is always busy because of the great food and service.

  • 5/5 Gavin C. 2 years ago on Google
Fantastic cafe. The bacon & egg bagel with chilli jam was outstanding and so was the flat white coffee.

  • 3/5 Oleksandr “Sasha” L. 2 years ago on Google
Not sure why all the hype and sometimes long lines. There are better places in the area. Loved smoothies here, but the brunch dishes are pretty simple and small. Coffee is sub par.

  • 5/5 Michael Q. 2 years ago on Google
Love the ice coffee here with a twist of orange peel. So different bit so good! This place has been here for years and i will stop in when in Lisbon. They have a great simple menu with delicious sides. The bloody mary was exceptional and the salmon and eggs were top.

Puhh… these avo toasts were unreal!! We came here two times in a row because the food and the coffee was so good. Nice service on top of that and the Location is cute and modern. Highly recommended if you’re in Lisbon 😍👍🏼

Great breakfast spot in Lisbon. Small seating quarters so be prepared for a wait. However, the staff are wonderful and extremely helpful, they will find you while you stand outside waiting for your table; they won't forget you! Food was fresh and the cafe mocha was delicious!

Definitely worth a visit. We had the best cappuccino and flat white on our portugal trip (they have a la Marzocco machine and a really nice barista that knows how to operate it). The food (classic bagel and pancake) arrived fast and was super delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive.

It was pretty busy at 10.30am on Sunday and became obvious why. We ordered the smoked salmon on potato rösti with a poached egg and it was cooked to perfection- very delicious indeed. Had a nice beachy vibe and the service was friendly. Be prepared to queue if you go there later.

Very nice place located near to the busy area of Lisbon. Place has a nice vibe, is not too big and has large windows that can be opened (no outdoor seating). The menu includes all the classics and food has a great quality. I loved the iced coffee with orange peel and the granola.

Mouthful breakfast, delicious croissant 🥐 and great cappuccino ☕ in a cozy friendly place! That's what you need rather on a lazy morning, an early departure or just for some peaceful moment to enjoy your coffee! In case you forgot to take some souvenirs, take a look on the great offering in front of you with best Portuguese porcelain. The staff will take care to pack it all for you ☺️ Best place to say goodbye Lisbon in a proper way!

Oh i enjoyed every bite of this bagel breakfast! It’s my first time trying the chili jam and it complimented everything there is on the plate and surprised me in every way. I ended up taking home a small jar for 3-ish €. The latte with a flattering art was also to my taste. I’m more than thrilled to recommend this place!!

Highly recommend this place. The breakfast is amazing. We waited almost 40 min but definitely worth it. We had the best brunch during our trip at this place.

  • 4/5 Enrique F. 1 year ago on Google
The environment is quite nice. Great energy for an early morning coffee and breakfast. The coffee was excellent! We ordered the mashed potatoes with salmon and the pancakes. The salmon was great. However, I give them a 4 stars because 1)we waited more than 45min to get the food and 2) the pancakes were dried and a bit tasteless with a lot of butter. Ithink it would be better if it comes with ice cream or honey. I am still recommending this place as many others have had a different experience! so go there and judge by yourself!

Really nice place, amazing owner, great and friendly service. Had coffee and croissant here pretty much every day I was in Lisbon, and had the corn fritters, the bagel and blueberry pancakes. The setting is dope. The open window keeps turning heads from anybody passing by. The service is nice and the food certainly looks pretty. However, when it comes to the taste, it can be hit or miss. While I rather enjoyed my "the melbourne" (which incidentally really did remind me of the city), the blueberry pancakes were, while pretty, really not quite up there. As wasn't the cocoa smoothie, which felt quite slushy and plain after all the chocolate topping inevitably ran out.
