    Great place. Cheap, knowledgable about the wine, lovely ambience. It's great. Four of us had different things ranging from desert wine through red, white and Gin. All great. Plenty places in Lisbon trying to be this good. This is.

    Portuguese wine bar in Bairro Alto, just across the road from Purex. Not specifically an LGBTQ venue, but very popular with a queer crowd, especially women. And if you’re interested in wine this is a good place to sample and learn from the (mostly female) bar staff. Bairrus Bodega, Rua da Barroca, 3, Bairro Alto. Mon-Sat 19:00 to 02:00. Closed Sundays.
