Small, but fantastic sports bar that plays American football games live. Can only hold maybe 30 people on the first floor, maybe double that in the basement. Watched the Super Bowl here with a bunch of locals AND paid local prices. Only issue is since NFL games run late at night, they have to close around 1:30/2:00am due to noise ordinance laws. Otherwise, worth stopping in if you are in the neighborhood.

We watched the South Africa vs England Rugby World Cup game at Joao’s authentic Portuguese pub. A popular place for local South Africans. We felt very much at home, the service was excellent and we had fun. Nice big TV and lots of lively and friendly local Portuguese made it an all good experience for us.

This was an absolute amazing experience. We wanted to watch the Porto - Benfica match and the staff gave us a table even though nearly every table was reserved and the place was packed. The food was amazing, the beer was delicious and I was able to get a pack of cigarettes without any cash on me because of the staff. Everyone was so helpful and everyone was speaking perfectly English, it is the best experience I have ever made in a bar abroad! Absolutely a must come when in Lisbon and wanting to watch sports! 10/10! Thank you
