The highlight of my food experience in Lisbon! It feels like I was invited over to a friend’s house… The food was made with obvious love, and the couple who run the restaurant are just lovely. I snagged the one outside table, but if you have your heart set on this restaurant, make a reservation. This is why I travel!

Just the most wonderful experience. We were lucky enough that there was space as they only have 2 tables. A table for 2 and a table for 4. It’s a delightful couple that make their own food, creatively as they don’t have the benefit of an exhaust fan (at least at the time of writing this). The menu is very home feeling and everything sounds pretty good. We had the charcuterie board and it was really nice and came with 5 sauces. Also had a bottle of the green wine which was very lightly sparkled and fresh! I didn’t catch their names unfortunately but they were super friendly and the whole time we were there felt very much like we were at home in their kitchen. Definitely worth a visit and I’d probably recommend calling or messaging in advance since it’s limited seating! Enjoy!

What a wonderful find! We stumples upon this tiny little restaurant when exploring the city. It's beautiful with just 2 small tables and the owners cooking right next to you. You can't get a dining experience more personal than that. The juices are made from fresh fruit and all other dishes are also homemade including all the dips and sauces. All the meat, all the cheeses are local. Wow! If you spot an open table here, don't hesitate, just walk in! It's amazing!

A unique must try food experience in Lisbon. The reviews speak for themselves - the food is amazing and the vibes are right. Luis and Joice are so welcoming and it really feels like you are in their kitchen. There are two tables, we made a reservation far in advance and they kept in contact on WhatsApp right up to the moment we walked in the door. There was not another table seated at the time we were there, which made it even more cozy. I imagine this is because we came at lunch time (2pm). The menu is short and sweet, with a couple special mains that they change up. We ordered the raw mushroom salad (15€), bruschetta (€7?), meatballs (€15), dessert sorbet, and some house wine and juice. Everything was amazing and the mushroom salad blew me away. Never had raw mushrooms before nor did I imagine it’d be so good. I think our total was around €56 which is completely worth it. 100% recommend. You won’t regret it.

Like coming home, Joyce and Luis brought warmth from the moment they took our reservation. They love people and they love what they do and it shows. From the decor in their small space, they have utilized every nook and cranny to optimise their cooking but also for the ceramics and photography to be showcased. The menu is small but mighty and as they sing, dance and chat while cooking your meal, you feel like you can take your time and enjoy the moment. The meatballs were the best we have ever had. Period. We travelled over 2 weeks and nothing compares to the texture and density. They are perfectly balanced with the sauce. The coconut chicken was also so creamy and well spiced, we are sad that we don't live here to have it more often. Come here for good, wholesome food and company to match.

I was lucky enough to get a table without reservation as I walked into the restaurant. As a matter of fact they have only 2 tables; with 4 seater and 2 seater, right next to the kitchen surrounded by amazing arts and decorations by the owner himself. I was looking for a unique yet local dining experience and I wasn't disappointed at all. This place was just perfect! Food was prepared using only the best ingredients and cooked with love! While waiting for the food, the owners who are also the cooks sparked great conversion with everyone accompanied by fine music on the background. The foods were amazing! Since I was traveling alone, Joice suggested that the tapas will be a little too much to have alone and suggested to jump straight to the main course. She is right. The portion of the main course is more than enough for me but I had no trouble finishing it to the last bit because it was delicious! I could see the family on the next table smiled and keep nodding their head while enjoying their foods too. I couldn't help myself to compliment Joice and Luis that the meal was well prepared; better than my mom's cooking! Joice and Luis offered a cup of freshly grounded coffee, frothy milk, some slices of bread and cookies, and it was a perfect closing to the meal. Highly recommended!

We came here for the second time after six years and it seems like nothing has changed. Joyce and Luis are filled with hospitality and you just feel like you are in their home and they are cooking a homestyle meal for you. We had Brazilian fruit juices (Graviola and Caju) and a frozen margarita (highly recommend both) for drinks & Pao de Queijo, coconut&palmoil-fish-stew and their heavenly banana pie. Everything was wonderful and prepared with so much love. Also loved their music playlist, great mix of genres! Once we come back to Lisbon, we will be visiting their restaurant again.

The food, drinks and atmosphere in this place are to die for! We've tried the best pesto and mango chutney as well was zuccini rolls and cod. You can try drinks made with exotic fruits and talk to Joice and Luis about Lisbon, food, art. Thank you for creating unique atmosphere and for feeding as so well ;) we would definitely come back if we had more time.

A fantastic dining experience with a local, personal touch. Joice and Luis (the two couples operating the restaurant) were super friendly. They explained the whole menu very well, told us a lot of things about Lisbon and even gave us lots of recommendations! The food was incredibly delicious. Try the Vinho Verde (green wine) too - it's amazing. The interior of the restaurant was very nicely decorated and many artworks in there were made by Luis! They have coffee beans from various countries for you to try as well. The price was really affordable too. Overall, this was one of the best service and experience I've had at a restaurant and I highly recommend this place.

Great restaurant, friendly and really nice staff and delicious excellent dishes. I had a perfect lunch here and enjoyed the tasty food so much. they made a special small table outside for us and looked often so nice friendly for us. They explained everything and the recommended green wine was amazing to this meal. Definitely worth to go, I highly recommend it.

This is a tiny place, only 2 tables. Full of love for food and people. Don't miss the Brazilian cheese rolls, and the frozen margarita ( the best I ever had, and I love in Texas:). In the photo - zucchini rolls, to die for! And reserve in advance!❤️

Food was delicious. Joice and Luis were friendly. It is good to watch them while they are preparing the food because they are definitely enjoying what they make. And the music inside was also great. We couldn't stop "shazaming" what were being played. The art pieces inside were also so good and the whole restaurant is decorated with the artworks made by Luis. We went there as a surprise to my spouse for his birthday and we both enjoyed the overall experience. Thanks again Joice and Luis!

Eating here on the first and the last day of our stay in Lisbon made this trip really enjoyable. Luis and Joice are great people and even better chefs. The taste is that of a savory homecooked meal, the little restaurant is beautiful and inviting. This is a place that doesn‘t just want your money, but one where you feel welcome. My wife and I will definitely come back on our next trip to Lisbon! Thank you Luis and Joice for 2 amazing dinners! S+P

We are here our first night, and every subsequent dinner we reminisced about how incredible the food was here! I felt like my family was cooking for me, everything was fresh and mouth-watering, especially the mango salsa for the cheese bread and the fish soup and zucchini. We loved the green wine too and the cute decorations added to the atmosphere :) if we come back to Lisbon we’d dine here every night, seriously

A unique place in Lisbon, feels like you are invited to the owner's home. Amazing exotic fruit juices, delicious food, great wine and supernice hosts. Beautiful ceramics and aquarels made by Luis. Make sure to make a reservation, they have only 2 tables!

We can’t say enough good things about this place, it was absolutely incredible! There are literally only two tables in the entire establishment, so if you get there and they are full, go back. It’s totally worth the wait! We are vegetarian and have a 3 1/2 year-old, the three of us were very satisfied. It was a two hour meal, with lots of quiet and “oh my God… “ going on.SO GOOD 🥰

We came to have an early dinner here yesterday after landing from France and absolutely LOVED our experience. I would recommend this place to anyone. We had delicious caipirinhas (the best I ever had), and ordered the local cheese (delicious) followed by the rolled zucchini and the stew. The owners were beyond nice and accommodating. We came with a baby and not only are they culinary magiciens but they also helped us feel so comfortable and right at home. Thank you again so much from the Canadians! We will definitely be back

Incredibly warm hosts and a great, delicious food prepared with a lot of love. In the afternoon we had an Apero plus drinks at Joyce and Luis’s. Everything tasted extremely delicious - both the food and the drinks. We’d love to come back. Unusual concept that we’ve never seen anywhere else before! You sit almost directly in the kitchen. Very cool

Small but cute Restaurant. They have a small menu but the food they offer is very very delicious. The selfmade dips/sauces are amazing also the Tapas de frios, bruschetta and the dish of the day (Zuchinirolls with selfmade tomato sauce). You have to stop by and enjoy a culinary Highlight!

We stumbled upon this brilliant gem, as we were walking in the area looking for an early evening bite to eat. Beautiful food made by gorgeous souls. You can feel the love in each bite. This place is tiny(!), so try to book ahead! You will not regret it!!

Spending time at Estaminé feels like picking flowers on a beautiful spring day. Such an inviting and lovely place. The second you walk in you feel like you are visiting relatives you haven't seen in quite a time. They have so many yummy things on their small but well thought menu. Try some of the exotic juices. Sometimes I can't believe that there are so many flavors in this world I haven't tasted yet, even though everything is so connected. Estaminé gives you the chance to add some new flavors to your tongue. As vegetarians we are always worried about whether we get something to eat but it was clearly no problem here. We tried the antipasti board (veg version) the lentil salad (a dream!) and the zucchini rolls (perfection!). And even though our bellies were full, we ordered the banana cake. (luckily, we would have missed something if we skipped that). The owners even took care of our child for some time so we had the chance to eat peacefully. This review ended up more like a loveletter, and everyone reading this should find out by him/herself why. Thank you so much for that yummy and lovely evening!

This little restaurante was such an incredible experience. It was extremely intimate (there are only two tables inside!) I recommend you call before just to make sure they aren’t full. Joice and Luis were so friendly and explained everything to us in great detail. They speak really good English and Spanish as well. The food is cooked right in front of you and everything is made fresh at home. We had some of their natural fruit juices and they were so tasty and refreshing. As an appetizer we had a cheese platter made with local cheeses and a delicious mango ginger jam. We also had the bruschetta which was very tasty as well. Their meatball and chicken dish were really flavorful and savory. Everything about this place is amazing and I recommend anyone looking for a fun dining experience with local cuisine to give this place a shot. It felt like I was dining inside a friends house not just some typical restaurant. You won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to come again.

Unique, beautiful, delicious, made with love. The loveliest little restaurant in Lisbon, and the most delicious homemade food. You can feel how the owners love what they do and enjoy offering a great experience for their guests. From your table, you can see the couple prepare your food like an artwork, every small detail is taken care of. Make sure you have a reservation before you visit them
