I was in Lisbon for 4 days and I ate at this restaurant 3 times. Not only is it my favourite restaurant in Lisbon, its the one of the best restaurants I've ever been to and I have been to a lot of amazing restaurants all over the world. The restaurant is modern, chic, and spacious but with hints of traditional. The staff are attentive and fridnly. The food, my gosh the food! Everything I tried was amazing, my recommendation is you go for the Portuguese style dishes, my personal favourite was the goat with rice, unbelievable! I can't wait to come back, such amazing food!

Great restaurant in Lisbon city centre. I recommend you book a table as it is most of the days full. Very popular among Portuguese artists and football players. Staff was very friendly and professional. The food was splendid, really tasty. A little bit overpriced in my opinion but it worths the experience. Parking in the area is complicated also.

Crowdy place, but we found a table even if we didn’t make reservation. Dishes are good, not so various..but you can fulfill every taste. You’ll find on the table some appetizers- but watch out, they’re not from the house, you’ll pay them later! Prices are high - comparing to other places , but food is tasty and comes quickly.

Very famous restaurant in Lisbon that is very well justified. The food and service at this restaurant are one of the best. Staff is attentive and friendly, the owner usually walks around and even chats with some of the clients. It is but a cheap restaurant, but it is also not a gourmet experience (portion wise). The food is delicious and it serves traditional Portuguese food and fresh seafood. It is one of my favorite restaurants in Lisbon and I definitely recommend a visit if you are in the city. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also very good. A lot of famous portuguese people come to this place as well (not the reason to come here, but just a fyi). You can see the photos on the walls. The restaurant was also recently renovated (in 2021). Just a side but, in case you are not aware, please note that the cheese and meat platter, butter, olives and bread that are already on the table when you sit are not for free. In case you don't want them, just inform the waiter. Overall excellent restaurant! Recommended!!

The food was good and the staff was very friendly, but overall wasn’t my favorite dining experience. If you’re visiting, I’d skip this place and go somewhere else. We were sat upstairs and it was a large space, bright lights and very busy. Not an intimate setting like you might find elsewhere. We ordered the codfish and the lobster and prawn rice. The servings are HUGE. Both dishes were good but wish we had only ordered one. I do understand how some people have called this a tourist trap. The meats and cheeses are already set out at the table but be warned that you must pay for these even though you didn’t ask for them. If you don’t want them, be sure to tell the waiter right away. Also, this was the last restaurant on our week trip and the only one where the waiter mentioned an option to tip as we were paying for our bill.

We came here on the recommendation of a family member and we had a great time. When you look from the outside it looks very old fashioned and small but that changes quickly as soon as they take you to the dining room upstairs. Very quickly you see a nice, clean, and modern looking dining room. Felipe was very attentive as well as all the other staff. We tried a few options and enjoyed every one of them. They serve traditional Portuguese food with a bit of modernization. My favorite was the octopus. I had never heard of this place before but was amazed to see all the celebrities and public figures that come here to eat. Parking isn't too bad because there is a parking garage a very short walk away. Beware it gets very busy so try and make a reservation.

Very disappointing! Considered one of the most prestigious restaurants in Lisbon with numerous VIP clients, we left feeling let down. Upon arrival, we were presented with a selection of local cold cuts, cheese, and bread on the table. However, we later discovered that the unrequested food had been included in the bill (amounting to around 20 euros). The quality of the remaining dishes was average at best. To be honest, I failed to grasp the reasoning behind the restaurant's hype.

It is good but you will pay for it. Think like steakhouse for this place. Quality decor, fresh prepared food, good service. Good for a special evening not your every day place. The seafood paella although expensive is very good. Creamy but not watery. Lots of seafood and a good variety. Definitely worth a try. What is on the table when you arrive is charged if you eat it. Everything from the ham to the bread and the cheese is great. We liked the cheese so much that we even got some from a supermarket. It was one third the price. They have fast and attentive service. Nothing was late nor too rushed. You might need a reservation even though it wasn’t full. We went in during the weekday. There are parking options available however it’s metered street parking.

I hope this review helps a fellow solo traveler. This is a mass produced chain restaurant that caters to groups and tourists. My friends who were visiting recommended this place so I went here for my last meal in Lisbon. What an utter disappointment. They rush you in and rush you to order. Mind you this isn’t a fast casual place. This is a 40-50 euro entree place. First of all, they place all these starters at your table - things they will charge you for even if you didn’t order the items. I accepted this as entry fee, and I got the octopus entree. It was the most disgusting octopus I’ve had. It was so oily and greasy I couldn’t eat it. So I asked the waiter if I could send it back. He said yes and I ordered a tiger shrimp, more wine and coffee and dessert. The bill comes and it’s 95 euros. For one person. The charged 36 euros for octopus that I didn’t even touch. It’s the principal. Please don’t go here. The only reason the food is two stars is bc the bread and cheese was good but it’s Lisbon, everyone has amazing bread and cheese. Service was pushy and the food tastes mass produced to feed cruises and hotels

INCREDIBLE!!!🔥🔥🔥 I have never eaten so deliciously in my life! Definitely worth the money. If I fly to Lisbon again, the first thing to do is to come back to you. It was superbly delicious! Highly recommend this white wine, we really enjoyed it! Personally, I just love this risotto. I recommend you try it, you won't regret it! 🔝

Service 10/10, atmosphere 10/10 with an interesting setting with celebrity photos everywhere (mostly Portuguese). The food was mostly amazing but the grilled codfish was a little lacking in flavour. The prawns for starter were beautiful and we kept dipping our bread in the oil. The prawn risotto (a traditional Portuguese dish) was astonishing. The food portions were immense and we could not finish. Overall and amazing place. Definitely up market high dinning. We had the old 1974 recipe cake for finish which was creamy and light.

We absolutely loved this place. It's wonderful because you walk in from the old cobble stone streets into a bright. large, modern, sexy restaurant full of bustling servers and lots of loud large parties and couples. The seafood is simply to die for. We had the most tender, delectable octopus we've ever had. We had the server recommend a bottle of wine and he provided a delicious reasonably priced bottle of white to go with our seafood dishes. We started with the most delicious cured tuna salad ever. I will be dreaming about this meal for some time to come. Then the bill came...it was VERY reasonably priced. We were actually shocked at how cheap it was! You will need to make a reservation ahead of time. This place is popular! Please note: the apps pre-placed on the table are not free.

Amazing service with tasty food and guaranteed with fresh good quality ingredients. you will not fail. Booking is absolutely necessary and they give 2 hrs. Just a small head up for vegetarians: Only 2 dishes were for vegetarians

One of the best meals a person could have! The clam was so good especially if eaten with the the bread dipped in the sauce👌🏻The prawn and lobster rice was superb🤩the desert and milk coffee fantastic. Highly recommended. The table items are charged for and are in the menu - must not miss! Very friendly staff. Overall, amazing experience worth multiple visits.

Excellent place for traditional Portuguese cuisine. Seems to be popular with both tourists and local patrons. You will need reservations or show up when they open and hope for a table. Wait staff is attentive and friendly.

Good atmosphere and big portions. Slightly pricey but tasty. Had the clams and octopus as starters and squid ink rice to share between two of us. Absolutely couldn't finish it and had to take away half. Total of 110 euros for the food service and atmosphere.

Delicious food, the portions are really big, perfect for sharing. When we arrived, they do place some starters at the table, if you don't want it, can simply tell them to take it away. Recommend to book in advance, it was fully packed when we were leaving.

Overall a good experience! Food was delicious and portions were really large. Definitely enough to share. It’s a big more on the pricier side but considering the food and service was good it wasn’t bad. I would say this place would be more of a date or business dinner type place. Octopus dish was sooo delicious!

The best restaurant I have ever tried in portugal, and the service is awesome, they even didn't change the service fee. Food is delicious and fair price, fresh. average 50 euros, and recommend to book before visit.

All absolutely good if not to say great. If I was you I’d only order meat and seafood, totally delicious really. I want to mark waiters apart of everything, they are just top. Definitely place to visit during your Lisbon trip!

Top Notch Service from beginning to end. Cannot compliment the kitchen and staff enough. Rui was our server for the evening and he ensured we were well taken care of with great recommendations and excellent attentiveness and great conversation. We can't wait to try other items on the menu, as some entrees and the seafood platter had us satisfied!

I almost feel guilty reviewing this place. We had a very lovely local sommelier recommend and help reserve us a table here and it's a real gem. There were barely any brits in here; all Portuguese nationals, which is always a good sign! The food was absolutely stunning - a cut above the other restaurants we'd been to after seeing them on 'top 10' lists. Service was great too and like the rest of Lisbon the food is a steal for how good it is.

Recently renewed is One of those restaurants you understand why they have such a good reputation! Service is perfect ( the owner sits you) an incredible cellar, and a rice with lobster that is fantastic! The only that I would ask to have is gluten-free bread…

The food was phenomenal. I totally recommend. It is a must to anyone coming to Lisbon. I was surprised how busy it was on a Monday night during low season, so I guess you must book in advance.

A popular restaurant in Lisbon. The service was very good. It is a bit pricey compared to other restaurants in Lisbon but food was very good. Especially fish croquette was very tasty.

The menu said the black seafood rice is for 2 people, but I feel even can be shared by 4 people. My stomach almost exploded after the meal (of course we couldn’t finish it). The service was very friendly. Just a side note, all the breads, fruits, and cheese on the table are not free, so if you don’t need them, you should inform waiters.
