After
reading
so
many
overwhelmingly
positive
reviews,
my
wife
and
I
were
looking
forward
to
eating
tapas
here.
Boy,
were
we
disappointed.
Which
made
us
wonder
if
the
owner
has
paid
people
to
write
so
many
positive
testimonials
about
his
place.
•
The
service
alone
is
absolutely
terrible.
•
The
food
is
unremarkable
and
the
prices
are
ridiculously
high
for
super
tiny
portions.
Which
is
very
unusual
for
most
Lisbon
restaurants.
•
The
owner
is
arrogant,
argumentative,
bossy
and
not
service-minded
at
all.
Despite
several
available
tables,
he
wouldn’t
allow
us
to
sit
where
we
wanted
(in
the
sun,
it
was
February
and
a
bit
nippy).
He
then
forced
a
couple,
that
ended
up
leaving
his
place,
to
move
closer
to
us,
despite
an
ongoing
pandemic.
•
It
took
20
minutes
before
our
few
tiny
tapas
plates
arrived.
Then
another
20
minutes
for
our
beer
to
be
served.
After
paying
almost
€40/$42
for
a
tiny
bowl
of
tasteless
guacamole
with
toasted
bread,
hummus
with
more
toasted
bread
and
a
small
cheese
plate
with
a
few
herbal
olives,
we
obviously
felt
robbed
and
disappointed.
We've
mostly
had
really
great
experiences
in
Lisbon
and
throughout
the
rest
of
Portugal.
The
owner
just
smiled
at
me
as
I
handed
him
the
money.
He
only
takes
cash
and
we
all
know
what
that
means...
I
strongly
advise
against
supporting
Graca
77
and
recommend
choosing
other
local
places
where
portions
are
generous,
service
is
friendly
and
the
owner
is
humble
and
thankful
for
the
business
guests
provide
him
with.
This
is
clearly
not
the
case
at
Graca
77.
No
matter
what
you
read
here,
this
is
a
classic
tourist
trap.
