Top address for getting huge platter of various meat (beef & veal) that are all coming from their own farm. Each meat cooked and grilled how it should be with various level of rareness. Quantity is massive and quality is definitly here and everything at a very affordable price. Red wine is very good too. Staff people is very friendly and full of recommandation. Restaurant decoration is nice too We had a very nice time at Gina restoraut, I would definitely come back next trip in Lisboa

My first time in Lisbon and my third night here, it was fantastic! Until last night we decided to asked our concierge to look for a Portuguese restaurant since I never had Portuguese food before. We made the reservation at 8:30. Got there a little late (8:45). Told the receptionist we had a reservation, she walked us to our seat at the very end of the restaurant while there were quite a few available tables elsewhere, we felt isolated from the restaurant. We waited for more than 10 minutes for the menu. Our young waiter was rude. We asked for a sparkling water, he gave us only one water glass, I immediately asked for a second one, I never got them. Their wine menu only offered by the bottle, we end up not drinking any wine and just had the bottle of sparkling water to share. Foods came in a huge cheese board with a lot of chips. I had the roasted chicken and it was great, but the experience is sucked to said the least. Service is bad. I’ll never go back.

We had a delicious dinner on their beautiful patio. The staff is accommodating and our whole experience was fantastic. I would definitely put it on your list if you are looking for authentic Portuguese food.

I made a reservation in advance, but they gave me a seat next to the trash bin. In the end I asked for a seat change, but since then the staff have been very rude and unfriendly. The food was lousy and came out of the restaurant like a quick run away after paying 75 euros. While paying for the food, the two employees argued with each other and started clearing plates and food. I never absolutely do not recommend this place. I had to go straight to another restaurant and had dinner again.

The most delicious dish I had the whole trip (so far :p). The waiting was shot, the atmosphere was great, the service was kind and the food was incredible. I would highly recommend the Fried Steak with Cream it was amazing.

Good typical Portuguese food. Mostly grilled meat and sea food. Plates are huge! Service was good, but the atmosphere was not that cozy. It's not a date night type of place, more like a friends and family vibe. We still enjoyed it a lot.

The Starters are a Joke, way too expensive to get pre packaged butter with old bread. The main dishes are ok. The server was nice but that didn't make up for the experience.

The restaurant is a bit hidden, but they put many signs to be able to find it. We reserved for the very same day and we could find availability. What was a bit weird was that they brought some cold appetizers (ham, cheese, sausage) covered in transparent foil and bread, without asking anything - right we sat down. Then when we ordered the food they asked us if we wanted to eat the appetizers, but they said it costs money. The waiter was even a bit rude about it, considering nobody does this nowadays, by saying “you pay for you eat”, when we asked if that costed money. That being said, the main course was fish, which was tasty, can’t deny it, but the sides were very average veggies. Overall, not worth the price tag I think. We didn’t have any desert. Plus, it took them quite a bit to bring the bill and then to charge us bu credit card.

Fabulous Restaurant off the Main Street. Outdoor patio - large inside seating area in different size rooms. Food was amazing. Great presentations. Passion Fruit sangria was delicious. We had the steak, codfish and skewered meat. All delicious.

Very friendly service. Great wine recommendation. Fast and delicious! Loved everything, food, wine and atmosphere. We had a plate of starters, a bottle of red wine, grilled meat as main and dessert. Price around 37 per person.

Very good portuguese cuisine restaurant, I went there twice during my trip to Lisbon. First time I had a codfish dish and the second time an alheira dish, both times there was plenty of food, it was delicious and the service were really good. I definitely recommend it.

Mushroom ravioli had a bland, congealed cream sauce on top, pasta was tough. Caprese salad had mushy tomatoes and a laughable amount of mozzarella as well as limp spring greens underneath.

Our waiter really hustled and was very pleasant & attentive without being intrusive. Tasty and generous meals. The Dorado was excellent. Piri Piri pork sauce was very tasty. More pork loin than pork tenderloin. Saw lots of other neat looking meals being served. Very good value. I would go again! Also - very close to Avenida Metro.

Fresh Portugese food and not expensive. Delicious, fresh and fast. Big portions! For people less then 60 kg it might be difficult to finish a dish. Average price for 2 people without food 40 eur (exc.alcohol)

Perfect location! The atmosphere was lovely. The portion was good for the price, however the food was a little bit unseasoned and one of the plates was chipped. Our waiter was not very welcoming and seems to be overwhelmed with the amount of stuff to do.

Super friendly staf, my special thank you to @Andreia and @Vanessa. Great food for a very good price, you get big portions of tasty food. Friday evenings there's live music. Plenty parking space. A Gina is an hidden jewelry in the center of Lisboa.

It's a classic in Lisbon. Surrounding and view definitely not a reason to go there. Good for a bit of discretion. A bit pricey for what you get.

The first two pics were on a Sunday at noon. The third one was on a Saturday in the evening. I ordered the same veal cutlets and both times they were very good. The only difference was that on Sunday for lunch the waiter brought bread and a plate with cheese and charcuterie (it never occurred to me I’d be charged 8€ for it, but I ate everything on that plate and it was good, thus I didn’t mind paying it). Both times I sat on the outdoor space but despite being chilly outside, the restaurant provideed heaters and blankets. The staff, as in most places in Portugal, was friendly and knowledgeable. Note: if you want cozido à portuguesa go on Thursdays for lunch.

Cozy place with tasty food. The location is a bit off and you kind of walk across a parking lot but just keep going! The prices are very good and you get a lot of food for the money. It's definitely worth a visit.

Great place to try grilled fishes and meat. Very traditional restaurant, opened back in 1935 by Gina. The location is a bit tricky to find but, using the St. Gloria elevator it’s very accesible. You can expect to find a nice atmosphere, with attentive service and different Portuguese dishes, with a winter terrace well conditioned with stoves. We tried the grilled dorada and the grilled codfish. However, the portions were really big for one person, so I would suggest sharing them. The fish was first quality and fresh and very well prepared with baked potatoes, broccoli and a bit of salad. Sadly, we couldn’t manage to eat a dessert, as we were already to full. Definitely a good one!😊

Amazing service! Funny and nice waiter! The food was delicious! You have to search a bit for the restaurant because it is a little apart from the street, but when you find it, it’s so nice! Und can sit in the roofed garden! Would definitely go there again!

We ate Tomahawk, great piece of meat. Little to raw at the end but they grilled it again and it was awsome!! Nice place to start your visit at Lisboa
