Awesome hotel for a layover. It's a few mins walk. They have a great breakfast. The rooms are comfortable. I also enjoyed my dinner. It's also affordable. The staff had been great during my 16hr layover.

Convenient location close to Lisbon airport. Recommended for an overnight layover. Shuttle available for transportation to the hotel. Once you got your luggage contact hotel to coordinate your pickup since the van is not labeled Modern and clean facilities. Hallways are kind of dark but we can blame the interior designer. The restaurant is remarkable good with a varied menu including options for vegetarians. The menu also labeled the different allergens for each plate.

Great hotel which is within a few minutes walk of the airport. There's also a regular free shuttle if you have luggage. All rooms and communal areas are clean and modern - the bathroom was a bit small though especially the toilet cubicle. Outdoor and indoor pool and spa are available for use and were great. Despite its location the hotel was quiet and beds were very comfortable, slept very well.

What a gem this place is! I had a 12.5 hour layover after arriving from the U.S. Had spent 14 hours traveling already, I cannot get food rest on flights and simply needed to lay down and sleep, then shower. I noticed a house phone in baggage claim with a small sign advertising this place. It looked super close so I called and they told me I could book a room for day use-it was 9am, I could keep the room till 7pm if needed. 85 euros. Yes please! It took no more than 5 minutes to walk over, the staff were great, and I was asleep in no time. The room was large, had a nice big window with blackout curtains. Coffee maker. Razor and toothbrush kits. Shower as well as bathtub. Overall excellent value for money. Very satisfied.

Fabulous stay coming & going! Staff could not be more lovely.. I stayed coming & going in the “01” “03” rooms.. absolutely no airplane noise, even with the window open all night! Rooms are lovely, bathrobes & slippers, all the amenities.. indoor outdoor lap pools & spa.. perfect. Ordered pizza room service .. small pizza is enough for two and terrific! Breakfast amazing .. love this hotel 👍

This hotel is a 5 min walk from the airport. They do offer shuttle service to get to the airport but if u are arriving its an easy walk to the hotel. Front desk were AMAZING so sweet and accommodating. Once i was in my room they bough biscuits, cherry liqueur & chocolates. Nice welcome touch :) Room was clean and had plenty of cool features. Room service food is tasteless the food on the plane was 10 times better than the room service. I gave the hotel food another change when i head to the hotel restaurant but was only more disappointed. Slow service and really i mean REALLY bad food. No taste. In the morning i was able to have their buffet style breakfast n it they had a lot of fruit, pastries, eggs, bacon etc. i had fruit , pastry and coffee just to be safe nothing hot that came from the kitchen. Hotel is good, you are paying for location. Just don’t eat here. Probably the worst food i ever had i mean no taste what so ever. Didn’t get to try their spa services since i was running on very short time. But i cant stress enough how sweet the front desk was :)

ONE STAR NOT MORE, I WAS STUCK IN THE ELEVATOR FOR ALMOST 1 HOUR. NO OXYGEN, AND WE WERE 4. WHEN WE ASK FOR HELP FROM THE ASSISTANCE, NOBODY ANSWERED CORRECTLY, ONE MINUTE MORE AND WE WOULD PREPARE OUR FALL !!! NEVER GO THERE.🤬

Fantastic hotel with excellent service and really nice rooms. The breakfast buffet was included and was incredible, and room service was delicious and very quick. It's a short walk from the airport with good signage pointing the way. Highly recommend!

Great value for the price. Only a 3min Walk from airport. This is the most dog friendly hotel ever. For 20EUR the dog gets an own blanket and two quality collapsing travel bowls plus a welcome snacks and a toy. The family room is big with two extra bunkbeds. Modern Hotel with great breakfast. Highly recommended for short stopover at LIS airport.

The hotel is in a great location for travelers, a mere 5-10min walk from Terminal 1. Easy to walk with carry on, but due to the walk being a bit hilly and with cobblestone and many curbs with heavy luggage you may want to use the hotel shuttle. Very comfy sitting area in the lobby. Nice breakfast and lovely, spacious modern rooms with tub and separate shower. Coffee maker, water and welcome pastry in the room and lovely reception staff. Will definitely come back here, if traveling through this airport.

I'm dumbfounded by the people calling this comfortable. I was sleeping in what might be the hardest surface ever referred to as a bed. If someone told me it was a solid block of wood with two pieces of cardboard on top and a sheet I would believe it considering how uncomfortable it was. The plus sides are a good looking breakfast buffet starting at 4am, very convenient for early flights like mine as well as an airport shuttle every 15min also starting at 4am.

The people working at this hotel are lovely and the beds are comfortable, but honestly that’s where the compliments end. The room we had was VERY oddly laid out. The bathroom and bed were essentially in the same space with nothing to separate them. The toilet and shower were both in teeny tiny cubical-like stalls that had semi transparent walls so you never fully had any privacy. The shower in our room was broken so we were only able to use the handheld wand. The door to the patio was extremely hard to close and felt a little broken/unsafe (especially as we stayed on the first floor). Based on other reviews I had high hopes for the breakfast - but it was not good and the dining room space felt very weird to be in. I know you’re paying for the convince of being spitting distance from the airport, but this stay was extremely off putting especially for the price.

If you have a very short time for your flight connection you can try to take an adventure. If you are not in a rush, I don't want you to waste your money here. 1) This hotel has filthy toilet and shower room with half- transparent glass wall and water can be flowing out to the room. There is a curtain between the bathroom area and the bed, the fabric has some strong artificial smell of flower. 2) Tissue box was filled with used ones, or they were very poor at making flower shape, which I cannot tell. Look at the photo please. It can be disgusting or funny. 3) Elevators are located in a very inconvenient place, and it is hard to find. 4) The restaurant has very long service hour because the people choose this hotel mainly for the early or late night flight connection. 5) The staff is kind which makes me give one more star. 6) I booked two nights I really want to get refund and move to other real hotels, but since I don't want to carry the bags any more, I might have to put up with this motel style accommodation with noisy environment. It is too expensive for this low quality. 6) I might want to change the evaluation after I use the spa tomorrow.

Absolutely prime location: just a walking distance downhill from the terminal. (Don't fall for taxi offerings, unless you carry your home with you.) Uphill with a heavy luggage might be challenging, but the hotel offers a shuttle for exactly that: every 10-15 mins 1st come - 1st served. The room has enough space for 2 and all her belongings. Since this is next to the a/p, you should expect traffic on your floor around the clock. In our case it was NOT a problem: - door and windows provide sufficient soundproofing. If your flight is early - leave your bags with the front desk: very nice and accommodating folks. Restaurant is operated by a very picturesque maitre d'hotel: have a friendly chat with him. He is serving hotel customers from 0400 till 1030. If you are an early bird it will cost you 12 euro/person all you are willing to get stuffed with. Including a very uncommon these days - tomato juice. Advanced reservations are recommended, since the place is fully booked most of the times. Hope this helps.

We stayed here for an obvious reason, close to the airport due to a long layover. After a little miscommunication and 20 minutes, me and my daughter got picked up by their shuttle service, smooth check in, fastbroom service delivery, room was really big and modern layout. The door was unfortunately getting stuck to the floor and hard to open otherwise no worries. Unfortunately we didn't have time to enjoy breakfast maybe next time.

Really nice hotel at walking distance from the airport. The staff is unbelievably sweet, they even made sure our breakfast was packed for us because we checked out before their restaurant opens. Nice little spa where you can swim some lanes and relax in the sauna. The room is also comfy. The only small downside was that the window didn't take enough noise so you could hear the road from the room.

No complaints except a little pricey. Worth it to us for the peace of mind being so close to the airport. Free shuttle leaves every 15 minutes. Huge breakfast. Very helpful staff. Large room, particularly by European standards. Very good sound proofing.

I have never heard of this hotel before. Simply looking for a place near the airport because I had a very early flight the next morning. From the shuttle service that picked me up at the airport to my first experience at the front desk, I was treated with respect and efficiency. The front desk representative was knowledgeable, articulate and efficient. As there was no hotel shuttle service at 3 am, she made arrangements with her father to drive me to the airport the next morning. As the hotel's breakfast service started at 5 am, she offered me a choice for breakfast across the walkway at the sister hotel or a box breakfast. The box breakfast was ready for me on time in the AM and was fantastic - lots of items of different types and quality, including the fruit. Upon completing the check in process, the front desk person have me a cute welcome cookie. Up in the room, I was greeted with a pleasant surprise of a little gift box of cookies and a complimentary glass bottle of fresh water. Just what I needed! The room, 625, is spacious, well organized, and clean. Two USB charge ports in the wall on both sides of the bed. Shower, toilet, lights all worked well. The room rate was reasonable. I could not have been happier. Thank you ! 😊

Excellent airport hotel, really spacious and comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, served already at 04:00 AM! Location is great, just opposite to the exit of the terminal, 5 minutes walking (but shuttle service is available too). Good for those arriving Lisbon very late and/or leaving very early.

The hotel is located next to the Lisboa international airport. The reception staff was efficient and friendly. The room was well appointed. There is a gym in the basement that's good for a travel workout session. The breakfast buffet was well stocked with a nice variety of the usual hot and cold breakfast items.

Great place to stay at the end of your vacation. Close to the airport with a shuttle going every 15mins. The food was incredible and ate breakfast and dinner there for 2 days. The rooms were nice and large compared to other hotels in Lisbon. The only complaint I had was the beds were very firm and I felt I would have had a better sleep with better pillows and a softer mattress. As a Canadian we are used to mattresses that are larger and not two twins pushed together and softer mattresses like in most Canadian hotels. I also loved the massage I had before we left for home the next day. A great way to end our vacation.

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Spa and pool facilities were excellent (hydrotherapy pool, sauna and steam rooms) and reasonably priced compared to other hotels. Excellent if you are looking for some downtime in Lisbon before flying out or if you want a quiet relaxing spa day away from the city. Would highly recommend.

WOW!!! The pool is amazing (no glass, they make you wear caps, but it’s fun), great dining hall, the rooms were cute and well equipped, you can WALK five minutes up hill to the airport. So so easy, this will be the only hotel I use any time I’m flying out of Lisbon.

Great staff and very helpful. Amazing decoration and great Smart TV with international channels. The pool is a fantastic addition but the highlight for me was the breakfast! Champagne breakfast and the food was fantastic. One of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had. Perfect location , 3 minute walk to the airport!

Good hotel literally next to the airport. Its position is its greatest plus, 3 minutes walking (crossing the street :) to Terminal 1. The hotel is a bit worn out due to heavy traffic, but still manages to be clean and hospitable. The reception staff were great with helping us with modifying our booking twice - really grateful for their support. Breakfast starts from 4AM, so a BIG plus. If in need for a connecting or early flight in Lisbon I would definitely choose Melia Lisboa Aeroporto again.

Worth it if you're needing to be walking distance to the airport here in Lisbon. Lived up to expectations, friendly staff, decent food. Rooms are small but cozy and well-adorned. Best 🚿 in three weeks 😀😎🤟

Perfect short stay for what was needed! Got off an early morning flight in Lisbon and needed to rest before starting the day. Took an Uber to the hotel and was able to walk in and get a room for half the day which was fantastic. Exceptional service, included breakfast and room was spotless.

We stayed here before a flight. We were greeted at reception and given our room key. The room was clean and we had no issues, other than the window was fairly small which made the room dark. On the plan almost all the other rooms were bigger so we really bad been given the smallest room on our floor. But, we were staying just one night so it was understandable (although as an airport hotel, most people probably are). There was a lunch buffet on offer and we followed other people to the dining area, but it was full. We sat outside, but it wasn't clear what we were supposed to do. Someone came to set the table outside and off we went to get some food. The quality was really good, but it really wasn't obvious that there were some parts just for those attending conferences so at one point we took the wrong thing and were made to feel pretty awful about it. I would suggest a sign to separate these items from the standard hotel guests. The number of conference guests was also the reason the dining room was full. When you're arriving from a flight, you can't possibly know what time to book for so this doesn't work so well for the paying hotel guests, unfortunately. That said, I would return. There is a shuttle service for the airport which is free, which was very useful.

Siisti hotelli lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä lentokentältä. Huone oli hieman meluisa ulkoa kuuluvan liikenteen takia. Muutamalta henkilökunnan jäseneltä saimme hieman huonoa palvelua. Olimme jo saaneet huonekortit ja jäimme juomaan vesilasilliset vastaanottotiskin viereen. Parin minuutin kuluttua vastaanottovirkailija pyysi yhtäkkiä kortit takaisin ja antoi uudet alimmasta kerroksesta. Selitystä ei annettu, vain it’s a similar room, ja harmitti, että huone olikin nyt alempana. Sisäuima-altaalle taas vaaditaan uimalakki, mikä pitää erikseen ostaa. Asia selvisi vasta altaan vastaanotossa.

This hotel was fantastic. Felt like it was a step above other hotels. So convenient being only a 5 min shuttle ride or 10 min walk to airport. The staff were very nice and the rooms were very comfortable. The breakfast was the best one we had in Portugal with numerous options. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from the airport. The dry sauna and steam room were a great addition, although the jacuzzi pool wasn't heated, it still wasn't uncomfortably cold. The gym facilities were quiet and well-maintained. What truly impressed me was the exceptional food served here. I had some of the best lunch and dinner experiences during my stay in Portugal—the taste, prompt service, and overall value for the price were remarkable. In addition to the excellent amenities, the hotel pleasantly surprised guests by providing two mini bottles of port wine and delightful cookies—a thoughtful touch that added to the overall hospitality experience.

I have only excellent things to say about this amazing hotel! Extremely organized with flights information and 5 min walk to the airport ! Convenient, modern, comfortable and luxurious not to say the staff is absolutely amazing! Martins ( I think that’s how I spell his name) was helpful, professional and has great customer service skills! I was in awe at this hotel it’s definitely above average and I will be back! If you want it all you can have it all with this hotel! Thank you for An amazing stay!

Extremely convenient for overnight stays while traveling via Lisboa International Airport. Rooms are nicely appointed. However, after 2 stays, we experienced gaps in service, ranging from poor maintenance of room air-conditioning; to low floor room assignments across from an elevator and adjacent to a highway after asking twice for a quiet room; to scheduled shuttle service not running at the published times. The restaurant was also overpriced and serving only average food.

My experience from staying 4+ times a year since they opened is that its a Top hotel for stopover and city break. Good value, continued high standards, great staff who are helpful, friendly and want to make me happy, really good at customer service. Rooms very clean, comfortable and not cluttered. Always sleep well. Breakfast fab. Looking forward to another stopover in July.

The website mentioned that there would be an early check in and late check out available, along with a half price parking and a 50% discount on the first drink at the bar, for booking directly. Unfortunately none of this was actually true and the staff were all nonplussed when I mentioned it upon arrival. There was a welcome drink however, which consisted of one bottle of water in our room to share between two people. The pools, terrace bar and gym are all operating on a reduced schedule of 10am-9pm, so no good for getting to the gym and pool before my flight as I had planned. This wasn't mentioned on the website, nor was I informed at check in. The spa and turkish baths are closed currently which the website does advise. Very difficult to sleep with the traffic noise from outside. I expected more modern windows in a self claimed "modern hotel". The bathroom isn't a separate room but rather a toilet behind a frosted glass shower door, not something I've ever seen in a hotel and not ideal when sharing a room! Air conditioning in the room was barely functional. On a positive note the buffet breakfast was very good and the location is very convenient for the airport.

I’ve stayed here 3 times now, have enjoyed it every time. The location is VERY convenient, the on-site buffet restaurant is convenient and delicious, and the spa is a great bonus. Will continue to stay here whenever I’m in Lisbon.

I made a booking by mistake, and tried to cancel within one hour of booking. They were completely unhelpful. Update: the mistake I made was making two Hotel bookings, at hotels across the street from eachother, owned by the SAME COMPANY. They wouldn't refund the money right away, and told me to get ahold of the agency that booked. After about an hour and a half trying to find contact information for Agoda, I got through to them. I am currently at reception while Agoda similarly gets stonewalled by their reception... Ultimately we got to a long and complicated solution but it took 2 hours. What a waste of time for something that should be a simple issue.

Been to their spa and really enjoyed it.It is medium size but has several jacuzzi jets throughout the pool plus a sauna and Turkish bath.To top it up they also have an ice pit to use when you are out of the hot areas. Definitely recommend for a nice relaxing afternoon!

After a very stressful day at the airport and having to last minute get a hotel for my layover in Lisbon, I was SO happy with the customer service I experienced at Meliã. Every single question I had for front desk people (which was many), were responded to professionally and promptly, which did not go unnoticed. The staff were so accommodating and genuinely friendly, especially Nunu (I hope I’m spelling his name correctly)! He took about 20 minutes to highlight all of the amazing places we should see in Lisbon during our short visit with highlighted maps and everything. In saying this, ALL of the staff I spoke with throughout my visit were lovely and am really looking forward to not only revisiting Lisbon, but Meliã as well! With all of the stress of travelling, I was very impressed at how relaxing my stay here was. Without a doubt 5 stars.

From the very start nothing was right. We came for a half-day stay (from 1PM - 6PM) and paid 89euros with tourist fee included. It started with an extremely unpleasant man (N.S.) working at the reception. Rooms were not numerated, so we spent some time in the hallway checking what door our key would open, so we could find our room. Sitting on a bed was like sinking into a hole, and in a room above us, there was some drilling happening. We tried room service, too,. Although the guy who brought the food was very nice, the food was extremely disappointing for every single thing we ordered except for the soup (for example, instead of sun-dried tomatoes, we got rotten tomatoes in a salad, medium done steak was burned and super tiny, and so on...). We highly recommend not to go to this hotel. It has nothing to do with the Tryp hotel and its standards.

I was only here for half a night while awaiting my 5:00 AM flight out of Portugal. The restaurant and bar were nice. The rooms were okay. The staff was nice. The price was right. They also arranged for my large group to be shuttled to the airport outside of normal shuttle hours, so we really appreciated that, as it was raining.

We got a room for a brief nap prior to our 5:30AM departure. The room was clean, functional and met our needs. It is a very short 5 minute walk to the terminal and the rate was great. We'll definitely stay here again.

The restaurant was amazing. Normally not a fan of hotel food, but this place was really good. Everyone in the family had a great dinner +and dessert!). Service is a little slower than in the USA, but that's the case everywhere in Europe. Totally worth the wait!

This hotel is so conveniently located to the airport as you you can walk from the Lisbon airport terminal to the hotel entrance in less than 5 minutes. restaurants! Our room was nicely-appointed with and the king mattress was very comfortable and the bathroom shower had excellent water pressure! Very quiet for an airport hotel. We had dinner and a buffet breakfast and both were quite nice. We had an early-morning flight departure from Lisbon and this hotel was an excellent choice for comfort and convenience!

It's a "Euro-modern" architecture place. We had an excellent check-in person who was, unfortunately, counterbalanced by a completely indifferent wait staff in the downstairs restaurant. Regardless, the room was comfortable if snug. We slept well, the whole point of this stopover.

I have stayed here many times and it is, in my opinion, the best of the airport hotels in Lisbon. It's pretty comfortable, quiet, and has a very long breakfast sitting (4am to 1030am) with a very nice breakfast. The rooms are decent quality, clean, and pretty soundproof. I have stayed in several rooms and the bed quality has varied. Once it was hard, the next it was very nice, this past time the bed was very springy. There is a pool but I have never used it. It is extremely close to terminal 1. When coming in, I have walked to the hotel with my bags. It's not great with the calcadas if you have a roller bag. I've never tried the shuttle

Great hotel right by the airport. Room was spacious and clean. Staff at the front desk were helpful and very pleasant. The hotel is dog friendly. The only negative that I have is with the shuttle service to the airport. Thought it runs every 15 minutes, in the morning there can be a long line up for the shuttle and you may not get on when you need it. We ended up taking a taxi and we saw others just walk to the airport.

Stayed during an overnight layover and really wish I could have stayed longer. Bed was comfortable and we were able to sleep through the night without interruption. Room was really nice, had separate bathtub and standing shower, and well insulated keeping out outside noise. Room had small fridge and snack bar with priced items. We walked from the airport easily and were able to walk back in the morning. Hotel offers room service and breakfast downstairs, it looked good but we were not hungry and in a hurry to catch our flight. At this point, I can't say anything bad about it.

We stayed here our last night in Portugal. The climate control in the room didn’t work. The temperature was 25 and we called the concierge. Someone arrived and explained we had the temperature set too low and suggested we set it at 22, let the room cool a bit and then set it lower if we wanted it cooler. This had no effect. We called again and they said they would send up maintenance. We waited about a half hour and called down and told them to forget it. We had a very early flight and needed to get to sleep. We slept with the window open. It was very noisy due to traffic and a terrible night of sleep. The next morning we spoke to another traveler who also said it was too hot and their AC didn’t work. A truly terrible experience. And to think we spent extra to stay at the airport.

We arrived at midnight. The airport is a 5-minute walk from the arrival hall. Check-in was super efficient. The room was spacious and the bed was really comfy; my husband fell asleep right away. Breakfast was excellent! Staff were super attentive and helpful. Highly recommended!
