Fantastic hotel. Instantly home! Great breakfast buffet too and the staff at the buffet were so open and friendly. One gentleman from UK at the breakfast bar who was so nice. Verni also made our trip complete! He was so nice to my wife and me and gave us so many fantastic tips on traveling to Sintra, how to access the tram, etc. Thank you so much Verni and Holiday Inn staff! Also unbelievable pool with amazing views at sunset :)

I stayed here for 4 nights this month. It is an impressive looking building with an imposing statue in the centre of the roundabout the hotel is on. It is not right in the centre but the weather was beautiful and the area lovely. We walked up the road (5-10mins) to get to one of the busier shopping areas with restaurants and where you can get sightseeing buses. The hotel is well located. The lobby is modern inviting, well staffed and the majority spoke English. We were on the 8th floor with a fantastic view of the city. The room itself was a little dated in terms if furniture, wood finishes and bathroom however it was all clean comfortable. It is a 4* hotel so I was not pleased that there was no complimentary water in the room - it is a warm country too! There was no dressing gown or slippers either. There is a ground floor restaurant and bar , gym and rooftop bar, ‘restaurant’ and pool. The main restaurant was very quiet when we used it but the food was very nice. The bar was well stocked and they had great cocktails too. The breakfast is epic - what didn’t they have!!! The gym was not large but it had enough to get a workout in. The rooftop bar food was very basic but drinks were good and the whole rooftop area was overall excellent with the views, seating options and facilities up there. There are also showers and dressing rooms so you can change after using the pool. I hope this review has been helpful for you. This is a great hotel which I would certainly return to and recommend it for a stay in Lisbon.

The bedroom was nice. The bathroom was tiny. The location and services were excellent. They gave my husband sparkling wine and cake with a candle for his birthday by noticing the date on his passport. The buffet was okay. It had nice salads and vegetables.

I tried to go to the restaurant and I was asked in reception for proof of vaccination which I had. However, due to a bureaucratic process I still have to wait for the QR code. It never happened to me before in this city but in this reception, they were doubting, blaming and shaming me "you could've written that" with a very aggressive and hostile tone. Outraging behaviour. Not at all what Holiday Inn stands for.

Visited the Rooftop. 15 Euros to access the rooftop but these are to consume at the bar. I think this is okay and you have a really nice, almost 360 degree view over the city! For 20 Euros more you can access the pool, but that was a little to expensive to be honest. Anyway the staff was really nice and young. Missed a bit of music but the drinks were at least really strong!

Spacious clean room. Bed size of 140 cm, which is nice for one person. The room seems to be intended for two persons. In that case the bed would be rather small. The breakfast is very nice and the employees are very friendly. The three star rating for service is due to the outdated settings of the public wifi, which make it impossible to connect a modern business laptop directly to Internet.

The hotel location was relatively central to the places and things I needed to do. As I spent less than 8 hours each day in the room, so I could maximise my time at Lisbon. It’s a very old school hotel. Something out of the glorious 80s. Don’t get me wrong, if you like that, it is fine. I did not like the look and feel - old hotel smell, dated carpet design, varnished wood furniture in the rooms, etc. Service crew at reception were excellent. Very polite, helpful and friendly. The service crew at the dining area, experienced, interactive and polite. The room attendants were very efficient and helpful. Would I recommend it, only from a feeling perspective of the 80s setup, No. if they renovated this hotel it will be a excellent decision. With such a good service crew of staff an enhanced hotel will make a difference.

Hated the pillows and the gym equipment was pretty bad and worn out. Beyond reception the decor felt a bit tired too. Also the receptionist we had on arrival was a bit surly and confrontational - rest of the staff were all very helpful. Overall was OK, kids liked the rooftop pool and location was good for airport, uptown and plenty of less touristy places to eat.

Great central location but in a very quiet spot. Several local cafes and restaurants. Good places for shopping. The rooms are a very good size and fairly clean. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The buffet breakfast is really good and has a good selection of pastries with some changing on a daily basis. Nice roof top with swimming pool.

A disappointing experience. As an IHG member I expected better service. I booked 6 nights for my family. Initially impressed, a plumbing maintenance issue on day 2 left us with no water over two days, no shower, no toilet, and not even an offer to bring us a bottle to brush our teeth. After dealing with an abrasive front desk, (I’m sure many complaints) their solution was to downgrade our room for the remainder of our time, smaller, with a worse view, clearly an overflow room. The breakfast was good and the location decent, but there are many more hotels to choose from. Customer service certainly not a priority.

Actually OK, spacious four bed room, easy to hear other guests in adjacent rooms, nice breakfast - ok for the level. Parking facility under the hotel is tight - big cars will have difficulties getting around the corners.

The hotel is well located in Lisbon and at a walking distance from one of the city's main arteries. Easy access via public transports. The check-in desk and breakfast staff are nice and the breakfast itself is great with a lot of diversity. The rooftop bar and pool could be better served and arranged. The room was ridiculously noisy both from the inside and outside which made sleeping a challenge.

I went there only for the pool. You pay the tax of 30€ to use their pool, and have the cashback of 20€ to use in their bar what’s is nice. The pool it self is super small but they have a nice view. The give up clean towels as well, what’s super necessary. The staff is friendly…

The room was clean and functional, with small desk and small table with two chairs, it had a water cooker (plus some tea and coffee), a small fridge with drinks and snacks. The bathroom was spacious. The room (8th floor) had a nice view of the city. The breakfast was great.

Offers a pleasant buffet, but it could enhance its options by adding more vegan protein choices and salads. The room is very spacious, and the staff is friendly. However, the sound isolation needs improvement, and the cable TV reception is not stable. The baggage service is fine.

Good rooms and really comfy bed, did not use any of the facilities other than breakfast the one morning. Staff friendly and helpful when needed. Approx 10 minute walk to one of the tube stations which takes you into the main areas of Lisbon.

Great welcome and easy check in on arrival. Room was very clean and the lady cleaning rooms did a great job. However the windows and mirrors were dirty the entire stay. Restaurant staff were lovely, breakfast was good, all options available (hot food, fruit, pastries, Yoghurt, pancakes) Dinner however we were not so satisfied with. Roof top pool was a bonus, really nice setting, the only issue I came to were the staff didn't seem to know how to make a certain cocktail. 1st world problem but my vision of having this cocktail by the pool was a disappointment🙈 Parking is charged and is not cheap so bear that in mind! Location was great, we walked to restaurants and parks, grocery stores and the underground. Overall it was a great place to stay and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the lisbon area with children.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel and loved it! The location was great. The hotel was great. The hotel restaurant was also really good. The room was a little outdated and small though. However, the staff was just amazing and really went above and beyond! It made our trip really enjoyable and I would stay again just because of all the amazing staff interactions we had.

Paid close to $700 for a few nights at this hotel We expected better. View is nice from the roof - staff member upon check in was friendly. That’s about where it ends. The pool deck upstairs has some broken pieces. Which is quite dangerous My wife scraped her foot. Luckily she didn’t inure it too badly, it could’ve been a lot worse. The room wasn’t completely clean. There was lots of dust under the bed which is problematic for someone like me with allergies. We had an issue with the staff not cleaning our room on the first day, I’m assuming they had some sort of mix up but we did ask twice and it wasn’t done until much later Finally it was completed but we were told they don’t clean up rooms until after 3 pm for existing hotel patrons. I held off on asking the staff to clean our room after that. Room is missing some basic necessities for travelers, body lotion, adequate body soap. No milk or water. Upon checkout we had a delay as it seems like they lost our credit card which we provided for their files on the first day. This delayed our checking out experience. Overall I don’t feel this was a 4 star hotel. I’d rate our experience a 2/5 at best.

I have staying there 3 weeks ago and yesterday I got my bank notification - some one in Holiday Inn hotel in Lisbon payd 15.30 Eur by my Mastercard. Since I'm currently living in London my curiosity make my call to hotel and ask "what's going on ?" The answer was "it was payment by mistake". So it means for Holiday Inn hotel management FRAUD WITH CUSTOMERS BANK CARDS is just payment by mistake...

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. We got a room in which the AC was only blowing hot air which made the room too hot and the staff at the reception was giving options to switch off AC or open balcony door. Finally they agreed to change the room.

Very attentive staff. Was not happy with my room, so thankfully they were very quick to re-organise. Great food & drink variety and service at breakfast. Great views from rooftop and although the pool is very small and shallow, still makes a great spot to hang out and relax. I would choose to stay jere again.

Reasonably close to the metro/tube stations which is handy either traveling to/from the airport or to the city center. Wide choice and tasty breakfast. Friendly staff. The downside was the mattress - too soft and wonky, felt like falling off the bed while trying to fall asleep. Overall I would recommend.
