We spent three nights at this hotel for a city break. Hotel is well-situated for public transport all over Lisbon and the airport, in a safe neighbourhood. Rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, particularly the bathrooms. Our city view from floor 6 was excellent. Staff friendly, breakfast buffet is exceptional. We had a great stay!

Hotel is beautiful, breakfast great, rooms modern and super clean. Location 5 minutes from the metro. Only small thing, you had to book the spa (sauna steam room) when on vacation you don’t always have a plan, I tried to book a few times when coming back to the hotel after a day exploring and it was always booked out. Overall a great stay

Most important advice: DO NOT SHARE A ROOM unless you’re romantically involved with someone. Pros: The location is convenient, but it’s quite a walk uphill from the metro. The hotel has amenities like Spa, Pool, Business Center, Restaurant and Bar. The staff tries to be helpful as well, which is much appreciated. They also included internet and breakfast with our room package. Cons: Overall, the hotel is too expensive for what it provides. The rooms are not properly designed, with transparent showers that don’t even have doors and make you freeze when reaching for the shampoo/soap on the other side, to a weird situation where you need to change buildings and go to a -2 level to get breakfast. You will be better in a lower cost/higher value place.

My wife and I were in Lisbon on vacation in February 2024 and stayed at the Iberostar. It is a true 5 star hotel located within a 5 minute walk of Lisbon's high end shopping district. We booked a jr. Suite consisting of a large bathroom with walk in shower (on demand hot water and tons of water pressure), a bedroom with king bed and a small living room with couch, table and TV. Modern, clean and well laid out. The staff at the front desk were, without exception, helpful and courteous and all spoke excellent English. The French restaurant at this hotel is amazing. The menu is varied, reasonably priced and the food is beautifully presented and delicious. A special thanks to the always attentive BRUNO, LEANDER and MARCUS who provided impeccable service. I highly recommend the Iberostar Lisboa.

Had the best time at this hotel. The staff are amazing! Khan and Brito who work in the bar have been exceptionally hospitable and they make the best cocktails! The location is great. Not far from the beach or the city. The pool is beautiful and clean. The service is absolutely perfect. The staff are friendly, warm and cannot do enough for you. The restaurant is lovely and the overall vibe of the hotel is relaxed but efficient. I had a hot stones massage today and the standard was high. All in all, this is a perfect hotel and offers all you can ask for. I would highly recommend:) I will definitely come back.

Nice, clean hotel in a convenient location with a great view from room 1811. Hotel staff was excellent from reception, to restaurant, to housekeeping. This place is a paradise! Gorgeous design and layout. Beautifully appointed rooms. Restaurant is delicious! Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Coming back again for sure !

Hotel is pretending 5 stars. Location, pool and breakfast are totally in line with 5stars evaluation. Rooms are good as well, but bathroom is a bit tired. Also, no possibility to open the windows. Air conditioning is imposed. Pool policy is a bit strange as well, we have to “book” the slot in order to enjoy inside pool. Another point, desk staff. Not at all friendly Deborah who’s never smiling and everything is NO for her. Really unpleasant experience in communication.

This past weekend we spend a weekend at this hotel for 20th anniversary of my employer. The rooms were clean, modern and spacious. The hotel is situated close to the city center and has everything you could wish for. The breakfast is great and has a lot to choose out of. If you want to visit Lisbon this hotel is great pick.

This girl is amazing. The best hotel in Portugal. They have a great service. Amazing restaurant with original Portuguese food and nice drinks. I enjoyed the spa as well. The facility is very organized and clean. I had a great time there.

The hotel's location is wonderful, centered in a busy area with access to public transport. The cleanliness of the rooms is perfect and the staff is super attentive... Maria, the maid on my floor, is very polite and kind, I felt welcomed !

Situated in a nice quiet part of town, not far from the main sites. Rooms nice and clean, albeit would have been nice to have some fresh air somehow, also the bathroom is not very private

What a great stay we had at Iberostar! The room was clean, modern, and very quiet. I had the best nights of sleep! The pool was an amazing addition, it was never too busy and the water was always so clean. The service was perfect, the staff was always ever so helpful,kind, and professional. Don't even get me started on their continental breakfast, it was amazing!!

My partner and I stayed here for 7 nights and had a very pleasant stay. The staff were very polite and answered all our questions. The pool was lovely and was never too busy. The room was nice and clean. However, when we arrived, they had put 2 single beds together (including single matresses), which is not what we booked. We did not expect this from a 5-star hotel. They did fix this issue straight away the next day and put on a double mattress. Also, there was a continuous problem with the water temperature in the shower, where it would go extremely hot at times when showering. It just never stayed at a constant temperature, which was frustrating. We did bring this to the receptions attention, but unfortunately, we never heard anything, and we just accepted it as we didn't want to make a huge fuss. We had the €24 breakfast buffet one morning, and I must say, it was probably the best breakfast buffet we have ever eaten. Everything tasted very good and we ate plenty which lasted us until dinner later that day! Finally, we had the stone massage, which was €99 each, and it was very pleasant. Never had a massage like it before and was very relaxing! Overall, we enjoyed our stay here, but I am giving them 4 star due to the fact they market themselves as 5 star. I just don't think it was quite 5 star standard to be completely honest. However, I would still recommend it here for your stay in Lisbon!

We had the pleasure of staying at this amazing hotel for several days. Everyone was so great, they cannot do enough to make your day. We also hosted a cocktail and the three event planners we had to pleasure of meeting and working with were very professional and kind and our event was very appreciated by all. Our favourite place to stay in Lisbon. Beautiful rooms, great food and super staff. From the moment you arrive (with welcome fizz) you are looked after really well. Khan at the pool bar is fantastic and knows how to look after his guests. Joao at the main bar full of charm and has great recommendations. Second birthday in a row here.

Wonderful food at the hotel. Dinner at the Luz restaurant was sublime. Marcus and Bruno with brilliant service, a wonderful wine recommendation and very attentive throughout. The beef was gorgeous, so much flavour (get it cooked medium!).

Just finished a 6 day stay here, and this is a great hotel. Everything was very clean, and I loved the pool and daily breakfast. One of the highlights of our stay was the bartender, Pedro. We were a pretty rowdy group of of 9 people, and he couldn't have been more accommodating. Plus, he makes an awesome espresso martini.

Such a wonderful hotel. Central to all locations. Very comfortable & great food. And a plus being able to chill by the pool during the day. Staff extra attentive. Shout out to Mohammad & Khan at the pool bar who looked after us . Would highly recommend if visiting beautiful Lisbon!!

The staff are very courteous, excellent service in the restaurant and bars. They have a very wide selection of great foods in the breakfast buffet. Myself and my daughter visited recently. We had a very enjoyable stay. The best part was the service we received from Miguel Mega, (Guest Services), nothing was too much trouble for Miguel! He helped me with excellent restaurant recommendations, reservations and checking out attractions in the area. He was always professional, courteous and caring. A real asset for any organisation. This is a modern hotel with a very attentive staff. I want to recognize Marco. He speaks so many languages fluently (spoke to us in both Spanish and English) and is a bellhop. He greeted us every time with a smile. On our way out I smacked my head into the beautiful glass revolving door and immediately had a goose egg. I was so embarrassed that I just kept walking out. I am clumsy but Marco ran out and brought me a towel with ice. This saved me from having a swollen forehead my whole vacation. Another employee who helped us was Debora. She works at the front desk and scheduled our last minute covid 19 test so we could fly home. The covid testing clinic came to our room to test right away. Furthermore the amenities are amazing. Check out the awesome gym you can reserve while you are here. You’re in a great location, too. Close to the airport but also all the great restaurants

A little disappointed about this hotel. First of all the lady on the phone gave me a wrong information which made me book the room and then via email someone else told me they can’t do anything, I should have told them earlier. Well after some emails I decided it is useless to discuss with them. Also it doesn’t feel like a 5 star hotel… in the room you will miss bathing products. What I liked was the pool area. It was very beautiful. Also the people in the hotel were super polite.

My stay was amazing! Service was top notch and we loved our room! The hotel is located in a convenient location. Our expectations towards the room, breakfast, most of all the service definitely exceeded!

Have stayed at this Lisbon location twice during the Covid shutdown. Although a number of the facilities sauna, steam, spa have been closed by governor order, I look forward to the day these open up and will be booking my trip to return soon after. For value, location, service, and atmosphere this is one that can't be beat.

Very clean hotel, great staff especially Marco and Joanna 👍🏼 The servers at the restaurant are always there whenever you need anything ! Great variety of food and drinks. The spa is great and relaxing. There’s a gym but the equipment is fairly old and flimsy, but still ok to get in your cardio. We got the aromatherapy massages it was amazing but I suggest you get the 90 minute massage cause it lasts longer. It would have been nice to have q tips, toothpaste and cotton pads in the bathroom but I guess you can ask at the lobby. The shampoo and conditioner they provide are a bit harsh and very drying so I suggest you bring your own. All in all we really enjoyed our stay there.

The Iberostar Selection is a nice, modern hotel in Lisbon which I think blends the needs and wants of a business traveller as well as those who are in the city to travel and explore. It’s a little out of the way, which can have upsides and downsides - for me, id prefer to be in an area with a few more restaurants and bars on the doorstep with a little more “action”, but in the same instance it was quiet and still local enough to travel around on foot, by metro or by cab. The breakfast was very good, sometimes the service could be a little slow, but the quality was good. I’d have liked it if they varied the options a little, but I respect that most people are in the city for a few days so this isn’t an issue for most. The room was very comfortable - the shower is good and the bed was nice. The only complaint I have is that the walls are a little thin, so when the cleaners are managing the neighbouring rooms and dragging the furniture around it’s difficult to ignore and quite often woke us up.

Terrible service of the front desk man. We asked to arrange a rental car to the hotel, it was agreed on specific time and date, we were assured by the concierge that all be fine. The car wasn’t arranged at the end, it totally ruined our plans for the day( moreover, when we were trying to find the solution, the front desk man instead of being helpful, was almost blaming us on what has happened….overall attitude conforms to low standards of treating your guests…

The hotel in itself is not bad, but it’s definitely not a 5 star one. There weren’t many choices at the buffet for breakfast. Coffee was just awful. We could never use the spa nor the inside pool because it was always fully booked. The gym is small for the hotel capacity. The food at the restaurant is pretty basic, but not very good either. Rooms are okay, but the there isn’t much privacy in the bathrooms - it’s all glass. For a couple it may be ok, but definitely not for family - you don’t want to see your dad showering while you’re brushing your teeth. I would not recommend staying here.

It's a decent hotel with a beautiful lobby but very overpriced for the experience. I just didn't think the rooms and pool area felt like a 5 star experience. The view also had some weird metal grill with totally obstructed the view. Very disappointing.

Great hotel. We booked a standard room and were upgraded free of charge which was a delight. The breakfast buffet is really good and there's something for everyone! We also used the spa and the outdoor pool and it was a lot of fun We tried their Lutz restaurant as well and the food was divine. All in all we had a really good time and great stay which was possible due the very friendly and helpful staff.

My girlfriend and I recently stayed here. The AC in the rooms was not adequate for the conditions outside(excuse from hotel when asked why the AC doesn’t work). The unit was hot and damp the whole time. Part of our electrical behind the bed went out day one. Mold in the showers. Broken unusable furniture. After sweating through our sheets nightly we had to ask for lighter sheets due to the AC problem. We all left sick. They offered us an upgrade next time we stay but the problems were never fixed after daily maintenance requests. Why would we come back to this location? Better locations in this neighborhood for similar price tag.

Amazing staff who are very helpful and try to cater to your needs. The airlines lost all of our luggage and the hotel team was so helpful in helping us navigate places in Lisbon to buy all the emergency essentials we needed. Great room service for breakfast and Diana and Rui at the front desk were phenomenal. We ate in the restaurant which was delicious and as it was an off hour we had the place to ourselves and had an amazing conversation with our waiter. It was literally our only highlight of the trip being at this hotel since the entire luggage issue really soured our trip. Stay away from Air France…we are 2 of 30,000 baggage claims they have in their lost queue right now. LOVE IBEROSTAR…

We fully enjoyed our stay due to the friendly staff, very clean room - we appreciated the organic Shampoo/Conditioner etc. - and the sustainability-friendly concept of having the possibility to refill a water bottle which is placed in the room, the refill-station is on the same floor. The breakfast offers a delicious selection of exotic fresh fruit like passion fruit and papaya as well as vegan treats. Thank you for making our stay so truly enjoyable 🙏

Staff was friendly and helped guide us to great restaurants and bars. Spa service was excellent, Jamett went above and beyond and I enjoyed my facial while my husband spent time in the indoor pool. Rooms are very nice and give you everything you need. Although the room did feel warm after someone showered or when the window shades were open but not uncomfortable. Great hotel overall!

Rooms were really nice and clean, beds were really comfortable. Its only 15-20 minute walk to the city center. Staff were really helpful and friendly, pool area is really nice, the bar staff are fantastic and always make sure to keep your drinks topped up!

We have just spent 4 nights at this fantastic hotel. The rooms, the service and the staff were all exceptional. Located within easy reach of public transport hubs to all parts of the city. I would like to specifically mention the staff whom from arrival until departure were kind and attentive and could not do enough to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Wow! I am impressed. The service here has been top notch and the attention to detail does not go unnoticed. Saraya from guest services left us notes in our room with activities, instructions, and maps. Joao at the bar was fantastic and always has the best wine recommendations. The entire front desk and breakfast staff were helpful, pleasant, and service oriented. The rooms are simple yet comfortable and with everything you need.
