I can only highly recommend this 5-star hotel with an outstanding value for money. Located just 20min by taxi from the airport and 20min walk from most of the historical sights. Service, rooms, facilities - everything is just great! Swimming pool on the rooftop with 25C water and stunning views over Lisbon. Gym with sauna and steam table, and underground swimming pool. The included breakfast is delicious, all dishes are well presented. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. The conference center on the -1 floor can host events of all sorts. Conference rooms on the 1st floor are comfortable. Professional hotel staff provide an exceptional very client centric service. The only thing that annoyed me a bit is music which is playing 24h a day in all public areas, including hallways. It even welcomes you when entering the room and you need to turn it off each time. Whether you are on a business trip or vacating with family in Lisbon, Epic Sana Lisboa is an ideal place to stay. Definitely on my top list.

I stayed at this hotel for a week, and though overall I had a great experience there are elements of the stay that could have been better. Pros: -Beautiful clean hotel -We got upgraded because we booked with Expedia. The suite was very spacious - breakfast was delicious and the staff was very attentive - there was live music in the bar area and that made for a lovely night cap - staff were kind throughout Cons: The rooms could do with a bit of cleaning or updating. There were a lot of stains on the walls and tiles - breakfast was very receptive. Same menu every day got tiring on our week stay - for a tourist, the location was not the most ideal. Wish I stayed closer to the historic center of the city - we didn’t get the sprawling views of the Lisboa rooftops we expected. We were roomed on the side across from an office building - it would have been nice to have a concierge assigned to us, which I’m used to at similar 5 star hotels

Can't wait to go back to Portugal. I saw the hotels reviews before going and saw the talks about the breakfast buffet. I was skeptical, but OMG the first morning my wife and I were over whelmed like school kid on pizza day.... this buffet was for the God's..... every single meal that we ate in the hotel was insanely good. The room was nice and the staff was awesome.... nice roof top pool too. Perfect location for a good stroll down to the pier to walk those calories.....

The hotel was solid. Let's start with the highlights. Management/concierge was great. The breakfast buffet alone creates the entire experience. When I tell you that this is the greatest breakfast that I have ever had in my life, in all the countries that I have been to, I am not exaggerating. Believe all the reviews on this. The two pools are also great. The rooms are spacious but they are not cleaned very well at all, and this is not okay for a " 5 star hotel." The front desk rarely acknowledged us on multiple occasions when you walk past them, and even when checking in, the lady at the desk was rude and seemed annoyed. This is not okay on any level.

My wife have traveled to many places throughout Europe and this place is by far the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The service was absolutely incredible. The staff couldn't do enough for us and were so friendly. The breakfast was fantastic and is a must if you stay here! Room was clean and very comfortable. I cannot recommend this hotel enough to couples. We had a couples massage at the spa and were beyond impressed. The location was excellent and very easy to catch an Uber to anywhere you want to go as there are hills everywhere. We will be back!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay in Epic Sana Hotel during our city break trip to Lisbon. The location is ideal, very close to the center and Marques park. Staff was friendly and ready to fulfill your requests. If you are looking for Portuguese Hospitality this is definitely a place that you should visit. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, with a nice city view. Room service available 24/7 Breakfast is absolutely tasty, well organized and with plenty of choices. Relax by visiting the spa center, where you can find sauna, steam bath and swimming pool. If you are flying late in the afternoon you can store your luggage and enjoy a drink to their terrace. We will definitely come back ! Thanks again for everything 🙂

I am extremely happy with my stay in this hotel! First time staying. All the staff was great. The room was very well kept and they left little different chocolates for us every day. The breakfast is probably the best I've had, with so much choice that it was impossible to try all. We also had a meal and a few drinks by the rooftop pool, and they were very good. Can't wait to come back to Lisbon and stay in Sana again. Thank you so much for the experience.

So much attention to detail at this hotel. It is such a nice place to stay and close to buses/metro. And the breakfast is 6 stars. A lovely get away for my husband and I.

Amazing hotel and amazing people work here Our flight was landed early at around 6 am and we reached hotel at 7.30am. They let us check in early which was very nice of them after overnight flight. We are vegetarian and Jose and his staff took great care of us(it’s our 3rd day and 3 more days to go but I am amazed with hospitality and wanted to write this review) They making my son breakfast on demand. Pedro who is always at front door helping people out with their needs. He is very great and giving us insights where to travel and help us plan our day. This hotel is at perfect location and not far from center(about 15 min walk).

This Hotel is FANTASTIC!!!! Great service from beginning to end. Great and friendly staff (ALL OF THEM)!!! Got there early since my flight got to Lisbon @ 8am and the woman at the front desk was able to find me a room for an early check in. She was VERY nice & friendly. The hotel is new, beautiful and VERY CLEAN. The rooms are large, sunny, the bed was supper comfortable. Very modern set up. Everything was awesome. Sometimes the room was cleaned twice a day. The hotel is located in a great area. Walking from the city center, it's located somewhat up the hill, but for me (I am a walker), I liked it. 2 THUMBS UP!! I would 100% recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful hotel, great location, amazing clean spacious rooms and the water pressure in the shower was probably the best I have ever seen in a hotel. Staff was really friendly. Only suggestion I would have is maybe if the drinks at the hotel lobby bar weren't 25 Euros each, it might have more patrons lol. The only issue I had was they say kid-friendly, but kids can't use indoor pool after 1pm and the rooftop pool was mostly adults all the time, that seem annoyed when kids show up. Definitely more of an adult hotel. But overall great experience.

Fantastic experience. You certainly need 3-4 days in this hotel and for Lisbon minimum. I travelled with a friend and we wished to extend our stay to enjoy the Spa and pools just a touch more. Breakfast was also amazing along with the service of the staff. The location is near a mall but a bit removed from nightlife.

Totally loved our stay at Epic Sana Lisboa. It has out done itself. True 5 star. Good value for money. Will recommend to our friends. We will stay here again one day. Thank you to the polite and friendly staff. Thank you for the glass of fizz and cake at breakfast for our anniversary. We loved that to 🥰🥂

We stayed at this hotel for a few nights while in Lisbon and we loved it! The room was beautiful and spacious, and perfect for us with our baby girl. We even managed to keep our stroller in the room and still had enough space. The spa facilities, interior and rooftop pools were wonderful. The service all over was top notch, especially at breakfast, the pool and spa. The breakfast was absolutely incredible, truly epic thar goes with the hotel name. There was so much variety and everything was high quality and delicious. I was looking forward to breakfast everyday. Highly recommend this hotel!

Booked this hotel for two nights, based mainly on location. The lobby is gorgeous, staff is courteous. Received a room on the 5th floor, and as we got off the elevator an unpleasant smell hit us - what a turn off, considering this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel. The room size is ok, on the positive side it doesn’t have the smell that is in the hallway. However, the room is in dire need of deep cleaning. Hairs in the shower; the water from the shower gets in the rest of the bathroom. I’m not sure if pillowcases have been changed from previous guest. The sheet also had stains. The room just feels gross, and it’s not cheap, otherwise I would’ve left and booked another hotel. I definitely don’t recommend Epic Sana Lisboa.

One of the best hotel experiences. The staff is genuinely nice and accommodating. The food is really good, rooms are big enough and clean, hotel well located. Rodrigo Portugal at the front desk is one of the most helpful guys ever, he booked for us all the nice spots, due to our lost luggages he has been precious !

Our 2nd visit to this wonderful hotel. Once again our stay was very much enjoyed. All the staff so helpful and attentive, the rooms spotless, the food was excellent, and the rooftop pool was a big hit with all the family. A 3rd visit will no doubt be on the cards.

Epic Sana in Lisbon is an amazing hotel. Our friendly and gracious hosts are Querido, Pedro, Mawesa, Beatrix. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, clean, and decorated in a modern theme. The 9th floor has a gorgeous swimming pool. World class Pastry chef prepares desserts and hand makes fresh chocolates and confectionaries. Your host with assorted gourmet teas welcome you at the lobby. The breakfast is extraordinary. Exotic fresh fruits, fresh baked breads / pastries, charcuterie, eggs / omelettes / pancakes anyway you want. Chef prepares Michelin style, hand made breakfast treats, yogurts, a variety of exotic morning purifying / cleansing / energy shots. Centrally located, and a 5 minute walk to the Amorerias mall, shopping and food court areas.

We stayed at EPIC SANA Lisboa Friday - Monday in late February. Staff on check in were very professional, friendly and welcoming, I've completely forgotten her name (think it started with a C) but she was brilliant and provided local recommendations for sites, bars and restaurants. The room, on the fifth floor, was spacious and clean, the bed was very large (over 6 feet wide), comfortable and the overall design of the room is what you would expect of a 5 Star. Two minor things to mention would be that the TV is a little dated as you cannot cast your phone to it, and the blinds that cover the shower wouldn't raise (assuming a faulty connection). That aside we loved the room. The shower itself was excellent, strong water pressure from both options. The view out to the front of the hotel was actually quite nice, though the best view is from the rooftop pool area. Location could be considered a bit awkward from a walking perspective, walking down to the centre is fine but coming back up, you might struggle depending on your fitness level. There is a bus stop just a 3 minute walk down the hill and Bolt is very cheap with plenty of drivers nearby. The breakfast buffet was excellent, the yogurts were especially delicious. They also can make anything else you would like on order, eggs Benedict, for example. The indoor pool is a perfect 30 degrees, and larger than we expected, the steam room and sauna are right alongside it and appeared clean and well maintained. Unfortunately my partner became very ill on the Sunday morning/afternoon due to food poisoning which in turn triggered the worst seizure she has had, being alone in a foreign country dealing with the situation was very stressful, however the hotel staff were at our room in moments with an ambulance outside within 15 minutes of me calling the front desk. The staff (and paramedics) were all fantastic but specifically I want to mention Nuna Querido (if I am remembering his name correctly) he helped translate between myself and the paramedics, provided quality support throughout and overall was just an absolute credit to the EPIC SANA Lisboa. On our return, (approx 8 hours later) all staff were very considerate and asked after her which was very thoughtful. They also kept our bags safely stored on the last day while we did some light exploring before our flight. Overall we would definitely return if we were in Lisbon again.

What a great hotel! We had a great experience there. We went to lisbon in february, out of season but really enjoyed it and certainly the hotel!! They upgraded our room free of charge, the breakfast was AMAZING! Restaurant was really good. Spa was great as well to relax with a turkish bath and a sauna! I was actually impressed because it wasn't too far away from the center of Lisbon - by foot down the avenida libertade or by metro for 2 stops! Tram also near the hotel. Thank you so much for this EPIC stay! Loved it.

I had a flawless stay in Epic Sana. The front desk was so nice and helpful. The rooms were clean, well equipped, and modern. Bed was extremely cozy. We enjoyed their outdoor pool and views. We also reserved the indoor pool and amenities and that was so relaxing. Even though this hotel is not central to nightlife you’re only a short scooter ride away. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Pedro was fantastic. He was able to help me purchase a wine bottle to surprise my friends that were staying here. Although I didn't actually stay on the property, he was very quick and helpful and helped me ensure a great surprise for the guests. The service here is unmatched

The location is a little bit bad, it is not that far from the center but it is not convenient neither by public traffics or taxi or private car… The breakfast is very very good! We also love the indoor pool and the rooftop pool. And the biggest advantage is, dog’s stay is free. It is very unusual in Lisbon. Because the most of hotel or local restaurants are not really dog friendly.

This is one of Lisboa's best hotels based on all aspects. Price, location, design, comfort and amenities. The best part is the rooftop swimming pool. Well... No, the best part is the staff, they are simply so friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back.

In a quiet location, close to public transportation and a mall, the public space is luxurious, clean, relaxed, fun, the rooms are large, spacious, modern, the pools are amazing, the breakfast is excellent !!! Wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was very helpful, beautiful rooftop pool & spa/wellness and a lot of comfort in the room (great bed, soundsystem and very clean) Location is a bit remote from downtown hotspots and the nightlife, but you could simply walk down the hill and take an Uber back.

I rarely leave reviews but I felt like I needed to this time! The hotel is absolutely amazing, the staff are so friendly and helpful and the service and food was delicious. It's not too far from the centre and just a walk away. The rooms, the spa, and facilities were incredible. I will definitely be returning!! Thank you Epic Sana for making my Lisbon experience so special ❤️

Was just open for two weeks. Everything fantastic. Room large and deluxe. Breakfast very good. Minibar and bar overpriced, but that’s just European hotels. Gym, spa and pool amazing. 20 to 30 minute walk to all the major tourist sights.

  • 5/5 Omar A. 2 years ago on Google
Excellent, the staff were welcoming. I never rate 5 stars for anything, but for my specific visit they deserve it. Problem was with the location, bit far from the action, some amenities were missing. Special thanks to andre.

What a gem this hotel is! We booked a one-night stay in Epic Sana Marques as we needed a central place to stay before our onward flight within Portugal. Didn’t expect much as long as we had a king-sized bed. We were surprised and delighted on so many fronts. Room - great bed and pillows, decent size (we had large suitcases), bath tub and oversized spa showerhead for that rain shower feeling, good quality toiletries Facilities - the small rooftop pool is lovely as it has a beautiful view, and it was crowded with a young crowd. Bar food was alright. The basement spa was a great find, there was a slightly heated pool with jacuzzi jets that we had to ourselves, steam and sauna, and an amazing spa shower. Gym is good with machines and free weights, open 24 hours Food - we only had the buffet breakfast which was included in our booking, but were bowled over by the healthy yet delicious selection of food. It’s the only breakfast buffet I’ve ever seen with a chocolate fountain. Service - excellent, from front desk to bell boy to restaurant staff. We are well travelled and it takes a lot to impress me, but this hotel did in spades. Highly recommended!

Very luxurious hotel. We enjoyed everything from the bathroom and the inbuilt TV, to the hotel bar and the swimming pool. You feel very relaxed in this hotel and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. When the audio on our TV didn't work, the reception sent a guy who figured out which cable had been disconnected in a matter of minutes. They make you feel like you matter to them. The service was great! The city center is not far away and most things are within walking distance.

Great hotel with 5 star service!! All the staff from reception to room service to table service at breakfast was perfect! The hotel provided us with everything we needed, nothing is ever too much of an ask for them. Pool side service is quite slow but that is the only flaw in this perfect hotel experience we had. Will definitely book this hotel again. Highly recommend to all!!

We hosted our 10 year company event at the Epic Sana, and let me tell you, this hotel is truly representative of a 5 star property. Everything from the service, to the food, to the attention to detail was impeccable. The hotel staff were incredibly efficient, friendly and always willing to help (regardless of their role). In particular I would like to shout out Patricia, Monica and Dalila who were rock stars during our event. In general, the decor of the hotel is beautiful, with fresh orchids and flower arrangements seen throughout. Everything is impeccably clean and well maintained. The rooftop pool was a wonderful afterwork reprieve, as was the lobby bar! Now, let me talk about the spa! It was truly one of the most beautiful and serene spas I have visited in a long time, with services being very reasonable. The relaxing massage I got was phenomenal- I almost fell asleep! Post service, I was taken to a relaxation room and offered an assortment of goodies (including chocolate covered strawberries!). Just wow. Finally, I stayed in one of the suites and the room was absolutely stellar. Highly recommend upgrading to it if possible. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel.
