I’ve been to a few hostels and not many compare to this one. Fast check in. They offer a cheap 3 course dinner with a drink for $12. Chef Ines is good at what she does! The food is delicious. The pub crawl was really fun and affordable. The people here are super social and fun. You will not regret your time here. Great location as well. Close to downtown and the port. And the night shift is the best!

One of the best of the many hostels I've stayed in. Stayed here for a week. Beds are perfect (my back tends to complain about hostel mattresses, but not here), love the privacy of having your own little "cave" with a curtain around the bed, light, electric outlets.. everything you need. Lockers are big enough for a large backpack and light up when opening, very practical. Lived that my whole floor was female only, made for a great and comfortable experience. Bathrooms were always very clean, no idea how they did it, comparing to other big hostels. Staff was always friendly and helpful at 24h reception. Never had breakfast because I left early in the mornings, nor participated in any of the acitivities (dinner, pub crawl, pub quiz, Sintra tour), but breakfast looked good. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lisbon

Top notch hostel!! I can't say enough good things about this place. The location was fantastic. The staff is INCREDIBLE. They were super helpful, fun, and engaging with the people staying there. It was also one of the cleanest hostels I've been at. The bathrooms were always spotless. I stayed in a female dorm and I loved that the entire floor was females only. It's a super social hostel and you'll easily meet friends especially if you sign up for the dinners at night which are delicious!! I left today and already can't wait to stay at this hostel again!

One of the least welcoming experiences I've had in over 3 years of travel. The receptionist was incredibly blunt, condescending and rude to myself and a colleague of mine when we were enquiring about the prices of beds. I will never be back and will warn others of the rude staff and unwelcoming nature of this hostel. For the sake of the owner, I hope you get a new receptionist. thanks :)

I've recently been in the hostel for 10 days and I have to tell that the experience has been amazing!! This one for sure it's a super option for solo travellers as the hostel really gives you the opportunity of meeting new people everyday! Daily tours, dinners, pub crawls... I think I never went to party as much as I did here! And when I wanted to rest, I was also able to do it :D ++ Safe place for women solo travelling (and I was staying in a mix room!) ++ Very clean space. ++ For me, amazing location as it's less than 5 minutes from the sea (fav spot in Lisbon) I highly recommend it and of course I will choose this place if I come back to Lisbon! Special thanks to the amazing staff who took care of us in every pub crawl! Tiago, Mariana, Thales, Raphael, Fabio, Lina, Lua <3 (Sorry if I'm missing someone </3) And special thanks to Julie who helped me with a small issue during my stay. Brilliant hostel. Very comfy bed/ bunks with privacy curtains, light and charging station. You have your own locker under the bunks, but you need your own paddock. I didn't have it, but they offer the best-looking breakfast I have seen at a hostel. Scramble eggs, beans, pastries, bread, cereal, juice, coffee... They have their own bar - good place to met people, and organize pub crawls and other outings.. Someone is on duty 24hrs, so very safe and secure. Great location, central to everything.

I can safely say this is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed! Great crew working there and there's a lively chillout area where everyone wants to include you! BE AWARE! You will party whether you want it or not! The enery in the hostel is very hyped, so join the pub crawl! Thanks to Tiago, Mariama and Franky the pubcrawls were the best! The beds and luggage drawers are high quality! You've even got your own small storage space by the side of your bed for your valuables! Showers are good, toilets are good, hostel is very clean! Cheap food! Nice dinners! Cheap beers! Breakfast was of high quality for just 5 euros!! So, if you want to meet a lot of people, party, chill out or explore the city with the hostel people, go here!!! Thanks everyone!

Without a doubt one of the best hostels I've been to. I absolutely loved this hostel and will definitely be returning to it. I don't think my experience in Lisbon would have been the same without it. There was always a fun and vibrant atmosphere that made it beyond easy to meet people and make new friends. I have a lot of admiration for the wonderful staff who always brought a wonderful energy to the hostel. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that's looking to have a good time, meet awesome people, and be welcomed to Lisbon with open arms.

A great place to stay in the center of Lisbon. The 24-hour reception is convenient for late nights and the common area is huge, with multiple couches, comfortable table seating and even a bed. There's breakfast and dinner offered everyday, as well as multiple activities like walking tours and day trips to different parts of Portugal. The wifi is strong and the staff are friendly. The hostel is full of a social party crowd, so it should be easy to make new friends. Though, my room on floor 2 was never disrupted by loud or annoying guests. The bed was comfortable and the storage locker was massive. The bed curtains make for a private sleep. I would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Lisbon for a low price.

I didn't actually stay at the hostel but I joined my friend there for the food and the pub crawl. Honestly one of the best meals I've had in portugal, it was so tasty and the chef was so welcoming and kind! Then the bar crawl was amazing, the staff created such a fun atmosphere and the type of people who stay in this hostel are generally really cool too. I joined for 3 bar crawls by the end of my trip and I made so many friends that I shall keep for years. This place has the potential to create amazing memories and lifelong friends ❤️ I also joined for the free tour and it was so well done, I'm terrible with names but our tour guide was so fun and attentive. Iearnt so much about the history of the place and made really good friends with other people on the tour. Couldn't recommend more!!!

It’s was really a good experience in this hostel. Even though It’s not the cheapest hostel in the area, But it is one of the good one with a good location near to the square and the river and also near to all the attractions area. They do have a big lobby where you can hang out and meet another traveler. The price for the staying don’t include the breakfast but you can pay 5 euro for an open buffet. They also provide a tour guide. At night they also do some activities.

Home Hostel is better! This Hostel isn’t the nicest. It’s overpriced, the food is not good, there are no great social areas and the pub crawl is horrific, just a big scam with two of the worst/cheapest clubs in town (no drinks included). The doors in the room have a alarm system that activates and makes noises after the door locks again so don’t believe you have a chilled sleep. The wash rooms are really tiny for everyone on the floor and are for the price really disappointing. Beside that the Home Hostel is much nicer, more fun and don’t charge you 2€ extra for every day more. The environment is nicer and they have better food and the best people. Save your time and money and go there instantly. Cheers guys.

I stayed here for a week towards the end of February and absolutely loved it it. I initially only planned to stay for two days but kept extending. For me the standout was the hostel meal. For €10 you were given three drinks, a starter, main course and desert, and they were all home cooked as well. The value for money was excellent and went well above the standard for any other hostel meal I’d ever had. The pub crawl was also great fun and a brilliant way to meet and get to know people. Rooms were spacious, clean and airy. Beds were comfy and had curtains for added privacy. Never once saw the bathrooms in a dirty or messy state either. Cleaning crew did a great job. I will definitely be retuning here when I come back to Lisbon!Thanks for the great stay Yes hostel!

I've spent 4 days in this hostel, and If I would have to come again to Lisbon I will choose them again. Everything was always clean, the staff were very friendly, kind and attentive. I really recommend this hostel!!

Hostel was clean and spacious, everything was just top tier. The cherry on top was the lovely social staff, for example Lily, Mariana and Inez, who were really helpful and made my stay even more amazing!

Likes: - Elevator - Comfortable bed, with nifty design that includes a little shelf with 2 USB and 1 pronged charging outlet and a reading light - Personal drawer that has a light - Each suite has a sink, with multiple wall mirrors and makeup mirrors, as well as seats. - Affordable tours Dislike: - The cubby thing sticks out, and because the bed itself is already narrow, I inadvertently hit or kick it when I sleep. - Bathroom light isn’t very bright - Towel is not included - Kitchen area, where I went to get water, is not very clean; there were many little flies. I also got 5 mosquito bites when I was sitting in lounge, which is near the kitchen.

This hostel is amazing. I can see how they won awards in previous years. I stayed 3 nights in mixed 4 bed dorm. Rooms are big and spacious and clean, air con was strong. Top bunk wasn’t even inconvenient the rooms are so nice. Bathrooms are also clean. Common areas are social and fun. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. There is daily breakfast and dinner, as well as walking tours and a Sintra day tour (€35). I did all of the add ons on different nights of my stay. So many awesome friendly travel lots to meet this way. Love love loved.

Great location and clean rooms. I think for the price it is quite pricey compared to other hostels. Staff tends to smoke cigarettes with the door open while not being mindful of guests.

Our stay at Yes! was amazing. Met such cool people, the rooms were incredibly impressive for the price and it felt clean and safe. The food was good and very reasonable compared to elsewhere nearby and it came with drinks and a very fun environment. Staff was really friendly and helpful!

Had an incredible stay here! I stayed on the all female dorm and everything was clean and tidy for my stay. The best feature of the hostel were the events and inclusive environment. From the walking tours with Paula to an incredible front desk staff I highly recommend this hostel to the wandering traveler looking to meet new people and have some fun along the way. I will say it is a lively group here with an opportunity to experience the night life each night and bar downstairs. Incredible location right in the center with a trolly stop close to the hostel, so it is very easy to travel to the sights from this location.

Nice and clean hostel. The stuff is friendly and helps with everything they can. There are a lot of activities you can do from the hostel. Breakfast is also available. A tip-based walking tour and in the evening dinner and afterwards a pub crawl. Super funny, super cool! Only people from the hostel are allowed in! There is also a common room where you can play games etc.

Best Hostel I've been at. Overall building very well kept, rooms and bathrooms clean and in good condition. Breakfast (3Euro) and Dinner set ( 10Euro) worth the price. True international atmosphere here, loved it. Staff is super friendly and funny!

Stayed in a 6 person female dorm and it's probably the best hostel I've stayed in, and I'm saying that as someone in their 30s, so roughing it hasn't been an option for a while! 😂 Super clean, very well set up (bed curtains, storage, sockets, individual lights, etc.) and incredibly central! As a solo female travailler I'm always interested in being close to a high street but not on it, and this place ticks all the boxes. They've got lots of activities planned (walking tour, pub crawl, karaoke, etc) and it looks easy enough to meet people if you want! The staff was also very friendly too and Lisbon is beautiful, so just got for it! A few nights here and some good walking shoes, and you're sorted!

Great hostel! The rooms are open and clean. I also loved the bathroom - at least in my floor, it was very convenient, clean all the time! The staff at the reception is also pretty nice. You just need to allow yourself and go ahead and talk to them! They’ll be glad to help you, and connect with other people. Don’t wait until they do it by themselves. If you do, they won’t and you’ll just think they’re rude, but they’re not. I swear! Overall, loved it! I’m going back whenever I’m in Lisbon!

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed! Central location, tidy and clean, great price and atmosphere, amazing staff. I booked it last minute and made a request to get the bottom bed even though I was aware there was a chance of not getting it. When I did my check in, Rui did all he could to accommodate my request and luckily it worked, I was so grateful for that 😊 Also heads up to Julie, Paula and Pedro, very friendly and good vibes people. This hostel is wonderful for so many reasons — the convenient location, the conservative but cool rooms, the cleanliness of the whole complex, the variety of events offered, the cheap drinks, and the helpful staff, but the absolute highlight of our trip was Bradley! From his suggestions of beaches to sharing stories of his travels, Bradley was a joy and an essential part of our perfect Lisbon experience!! Amazing hostel located in the very center of Lisbon, great to explore the city. The rooms are quite spacious and everything is really clean. Staff is amazing too, and we met so many amazing people here, was it on the walking tours, bar crawls or just while hanging out in the lobby. Definitely will come back to stay in this hostel!

We had the best stay in this hostel. The staff were super nice and helpful and organised really fun activities. They have a dinner + pub crawl happening every night and different trips during the day. They also offer free tours through Lisbon. The room was really comfortable and clean, no noise during the night. Totally recommend it as you will be able to meet lots of people and have so much fun!

Great staff, comfortable rooms and clean bathrooms. They organize some events (pub crawl) which are good for integration and meeting new people, plus enjoying nightlife in Lisbon. The location is just perfect - in the heart of the old part of the city, close to the subway, trains, ferry boat station, and buses all around also. No wonder why they're always fully booked. Just amazing :)

A really good choice if you want to have a good time in Lisbon. This was hands down the best Hostel I have ever stayed at. The rooms and bathrooms were roomy AND clean, the storage drawers had more than enough space and the curtains really helped me keep my privacy. The employees were more than willing to help (shoutout Paula) with anything I needed and the hostel also offers breakfast, dinner, for an extra charge. I highly recommend this hostel for anyone visiting Lisbon!

Great hostel. It's clean, the staff is super friendly, and the beds have curtains. Despite the hostel having many events (pub crawl and walking tour) and a beer on tap the rooms are quiet because they are all upstairs. I recommend the hostel dinner. It's very tasty, only 10 euro and a great way to merry people. The hostel is well located in walking distance to many great areas and near the metro too.I'd book here again.

I had such a great time staying here, and I usually have bad luck at hostels! The location is perfect, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, the rooms and bathrooms are clean. The beds have curtains and big lockers and even a small little cupboard to store extra stuff. The group dinners were affordable and genuinely good, and the pub crawl is a great way to meet people. They also do free tours and excursions. Next time I'm back in Lisbon I'm excited to stay here again.

Great hostel in a perfect location with spacious rooms that are maintained daily. It is excellent for anyone who is planning an extended stay in Lisbon as it is very comfortable regardless of the number of people in the room. The only problem is the staff insisting on cash for every other transaction asides for the booking. Seems super sketchy and highly inconvenient.

I absolutely loved this hostel!!! We stayed here for a few days on the last leg of our trip after staying at a pretty popular hostel in Barcelona. That other hostel was fine but Yes Hostel went above and beyond my expectations! It was super clean, the beds/rooms were very nice, and the bathrooms were constantly clean / well kept. I stayed in all-female dorm and all the roommates I had were great. Also the front desk staff were amazing and they were all super sweet and fun and made sure you were taken care of. I also had one of the best dinners of my entire trip at this hostel (shoutout Ines!!) - would highly recommend getting dinner there at least one night since it’s delicious and very affordable. I also did the Sintra tour and had an incredible time (def do it if you have the time) and pub crawl was fun too (although I didn’t stay too long tbh). Overall I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone traveling to Lisbon! Hope to be back one day.

Dieses Hostel lohnt sich wirklich ! Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Hinzukommt die Lage. Man ist direkt im Zentrum und stolpert förmlich zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir waren im 6-Bett-Zimmer und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Bett war sauber, hatte ein Vorhang und eine Schublade unter den Betten, welche geräumig und beleuchtet waren. Echt klasse. Die Duschen und Badezimmer waren ausreichend und sauber, genauso wie die Küche. Es wird außerdem großen Wert auf die Gemeinschaft gelegt. Abends werden meistens Aktivitäten angeboten, bei denen man tolle Menschen kennenlernen kann. Rundum sehr empfehlenswert!!! Würde ich wieder hinkommen :) Ein kleines Manko wäre vielleicht, dass wenn man unten schläft und der Zimmernachbar die Schublade fürs Gepäck auslässt, immer das Licht an ist und in die Schlafkabine leuchtet. Für leichte Schläfer blöd.
