It doesn’t value the price. Not a bottle of water in the room. Shower didn’t work properly. Room looks a bit used. Not a comb, tooth brush etc. In bathroom. Low quality of food at breakfast. I would not suggest to a friend. More than 100 euro per night is a robbery.

I really enjoyed my staying in this hotel, rooms have a good size, great shower the only bed thing was the bed, it’s a very cheap mattress they have…but the rest was fine. Service has good, location is also good, very close tho the train and metro station. Plenty of nice restaurants and cafes in the area.

I thought it could be better, but no! The customer service was not good, (only the blonde girl was friendly, the rest, very poor in service.) They look at you as a weirdo at the tourist, instead of having another attitude and being more friendly. The only good thing that the hotel has is its location, the rest should improve a lot. The breakfast is normal, nothing special, the short-haired girl who works there is very active, I think she's the only one who works well there. But worst of all is that the last day, when I got up to take a shower, I found fleas in the bed, when I left the room I went straight to the front desk to show them what had sucked my blood all night, and the only thing he said was... i'm sorry!!! but with attitude, can you imagine? therefore, I do not recommend it. I have pictures of that bug, but I can't post it, it doesn't look nice.

Nice quiet location around 5 minutes walk from Oriente station. Rooms are typically compact with the usual Ibis bathrooms and large shower. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice, orange juice & waffle maker. The only letdowns were the slightly firm mattress, unlike the usual Ibis quality I’m used to, and the aircon stayed warm even on the coolest setting.

Conveniently located, within walking distance of Gare do Oriente and Expo grounds. Check-in and check-out are quick and easy. Rooms are spacious and nicely appointed. Shower is very good. Hallway carpets looked very new and - to me - smelled a bit funny.

It is the standard Ibis hotel, similar rooms and furniture as in many other places of the world. Conveniently located near to the main train station with metro access and quick and frequent transport to or from the airport, only a few minutes walk away. There is also a large mall with multiple food outlets available in connection to the station. The downside with this hotel would be the staff who had the night shift in the early morning when I was checking out, he either was very tired or totally uninterested in his job. Not a single word of good morning, thank you or good bye in response, just some angry looks when I came to check out…

Only six free parking slots owned in front of the hotel. If you’re are lucky you’ll get one. There are plenty of paid street parking free of cost after midnight. Budget hotel, calm, neat and clean with good breakfast with lot of options to eat. Portuguese were generous. Very good for business and family trip.

Location was great as I was attending an event close by. It was also 15 mins away from the airport and less than 30 mins from the centre (on the tube). Room was nice and comfortable. The only issue I had is that I could hear doors slamming on the corridor and upstairs. Insulation was not that great for inside noise, while outside one was good.

As always, Ibis hotels just can't disappoint me :) It's not a luxury hotel and shouldn't be, Ibis keeps the saying "Value for money" at it's best. For the budget, you get a very clean rooms and facilities, super friendly crew and the perfect innovative vibe. Highly recommend and will definitely come back again. Thanks!

Very good location, the hotel is quiet, we arrived at night it was not a problem. A very big mention to the night staff, great welcome. THANKS

Good value for the money. Very close to Oriente bus depot and the large shopping mall. Very comfortable beds.

  • 4/5 David P. 10 months ago on Google
I have only given 4 stars because the hot water was just a dribble and the sink plug didn't work at all. Other than that the hotel was nice and clean, with friendly and helpful staff and reasonable food (breakfast)

It was a lovely stay, the room is nice and very clean, great breakfast, free wi fi in all areas. Big shopping mall 5 minutes away, as well as the metro station, nice restaurants around, campus du justice 5 minutes away…I highly recommend 👍🏼

Absolutely perfect for a short city break. Rooms are clean yet simple. Beds extremely comfortable. Reasonably priced for city ‘hotels’. A good breakfast choice is available. Friendly staff. Well situated, a short walk away from the Oriente train station which is also very close to the Lisbon airport- so all in all a convenient location. Would go back again.

If you have business at this side of the city, the location is great. Basic rooms, clean and very close to the Vasco da Gama shopping mall. We found breakfast a bit too pricey but plenty of cafes around the hotel to choose from

Really well located, but very basic, not the best service (very blasé), the water has no pressure either on the shower nor the flush. The sheets felt a bit damp too and the pillows were not very comfortable.

Terribly overpriced for what it is. There are better hotels at a cheaper price nearby. There is even a 4 start just up the road, not 100 meters away. The staff where friendly though.

Can't talk about the rooms as I haven't actually used them, I just used the cafe's toilet twice (on two separate occasions in two consecutive days) and the staff was very nice and welcoming and the toilets were super clean. Fair prices at the cafe too.

Nice, trendy place with good, clean rooms and decent location. Even if you are a tourist, not a business traveler, as the area is predominantly offices, the location is great and you are 5 min to the subway and then 15 min to the airport or 20 to the center. The breakfast is also very nice.

Clogged shower drains. Dirty shower. Cold rooms, very rude staff. You are better off in any other hotel with a more reasonable price rate. To avoid !!

A good spot for a one-notch-up-from-no-frills hotel close to the airport. Clean, in a good location, close to restaurants and only a few long blocks from the Oriente Metro station.

It's ok. No more or less than a business hotel. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Staff is nice. Location is good, close to the conference center and train station, however it's also very close to a concert venue, so when sleeping you'll have to choose between annoying music or no ventilation, because the thermostat does nothing. It's the kinda hotel I'd classify as a people box. Sidenote, i really don't like their weird music theme with the strange font and slogans. Seems like a desperate attempt to standout without standing out.

The reception was great and friendly and I really enjoyed my short stay with the modern and quiet room to rest with a good breakfast and very close to nearby activities and public transport.

Good location, fairly typical ibis ….Not the place for you if hotel breakfast matters to you-no local ham, no hot eggs, no sausage….this was basic even for an ibis (and I’ve stayed in many many ibises!) so remind yourself at least it’s close to shops and transport and go out and find some brekkie somewhere else!

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Room well designed, clean, bed & pillows comfortable. Modern decor and amenities, with plenty of space for luggage, work/desk and overall pleasant. Only issue is the noise that carries from room to room -- believe it was the hair dryer running in the next room that we could hear. Otherwise, this is a great place. Location fantastic, nice area to walk around with the mall, arena, and marina nearby. Lots of restaurants to chose from, all within an easy 10 minute casual stroll. Train station close walk (we didn't go there, but believe about 5-7 min walk) and airport is a quick 5-10 minute drive.

Lovely hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Easy to get to and from the airport by underground. Less than 10 minutes walk from the Oriente station and a good place to be if planning a week end in Lisbon. Loved the breakfast too though the coffee could be better.

During my stay, service was amiable and attentive, room most comfortable, complete with hardwood floors and blackout blinds (which indubitably helped with the old jet lag naps). Reasonably equipped gym (which was always pleasantly empty when during my visits). Numerous restaurants, waterfront, and Lisboa aquarium within walking distance. Superb free breakfast buffet, far from continental. Free Wifi which is fast enough to support streaming... Great value for the price.

Had a good stay. Forgot to carry an adaptor, plug sockets are different in Europe than UK, reception staff was kind to provide me with one. Fantastic customer service. Rooms were clean n nice.

Excellent stay and very helpful staff. Able to get two rooms with linked doors so our room and the kids were linked. Plus good breakfast with pancake making machine, fresh orange juice maker as well as normal continental breakfast. Three of us were celiac and had looked after them well

Nice modern overnight stay hotel. Very basic but functional.

Basic hotel with an inexpensive bar close to Oriente station. Arrived too late to try the local restaurants and left first thing for. Room all good, but electric supply was weird - an en extension block wire in and hidden in a corner.

Just your basic ibis with rooms that look like you are in a ship! Had no toothpaste and asked at the reception, apparently they did not have any. I know that they are not supposed to but could have used the help

The place is good. Just don't eat the dinner there. They gonna sell for you a pizza that looks like a piece of wood

I was expecting more as I stayed in different hotels from Accor range but this time I had my first issue in the room and it was not resolved.

The location of this Ibis hotel is good. A major Lisbon train station is a ten minute trundle away, with a wheeled suitcase. Nearby, you'll find plenty of places to eat good food, at reasonable prices too. A sophisticated shopping centre sits adjacent to the train station and there is a big events arena just down the road from the hotel. If you don't mind a bit of noise of an evening, and you prefer an open window to air conditioning, choose a lower floor room at the back of the hotel. Local chaps may use the office steps there as a skateboard park on some evenings. On other evenings, fellow guests may chat into the wee small hours over a bottle of wine, or two. Apart from these infrequent disturbances, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. A fresh orange juice machine should installed in every Ibis hotel and Portugese custard tarts should be obligatory too!

Easy to reach by metro from the airport. *** level meets the expectation. Fresh orange juice and pancake machine at the breakfast buffet are a plus. WiFi didn't work in my room on 2nd floor.

I loved this hotel, pretty much everything about it. The only reason I gave it a 9 is that I wish they had a mini-fridge. And there were a couple of small wear and tear items that could have been fixed, but nothing major. The hotel is very conveniently located close to the Oriente train station - just 1- minutes (literally) by Metro from the airport. And you can easily go to Porto, Coimbra and other places from Oriente. It's a short and easy Metro ride from the historical town. Also, it's near a HUGE supermarket that works until midnight. The room is a good size and clean and has everything you need. The design is fun, but simple. The bed and bedding was really nice. The towels were so-so, a little small and thin, but usable. The breakfast was great, it even included freshly squeezed orange juice and of course the traditional pastries. The hotel staff is really nice and helpful. I had a really great time there!
