4 stars? must be a joke!!!! Below average hotel that overcharges for everything. 2.5€ for a bottle of water in the room? 1.75€ for a coffee capsule?? do they think they are in the Maldives? Also, get ready to wait 10 min or more for the lift in the morning, which can be extremely annoying if you are carrying suitcases. Last, what type of 4-star hotel DOES NOT HAVE A IRON? Even the cheapest motel has it!! What do you do if you come for business and need to iron a shirt or pants? Never again, not even for half price!!!

BEWARE: If you’re visiting from out of country and have anything of value, do not leave your bags with front desk staff unattended. I was early to check in so I left my bags with the valet and came back in the evening to find $1000 worth of stuff missing. When confronted the staff just play stupid, it’s obviously a scheme they have set up with no consequences since police in Lisbon aren’t going to deal with petty theft of a tourists goods. It’s a real shame as the hotel is decent and well-priced… guess it’s well-priced for a reason.

Far from 4 stars!!!! I was treated better in every 3 star hotel! We arrived at this hotel today. Check in is usually 2:00 p.m. We were there about 1.5 hours early. Unfortunately it was not possible to move into the room. OK, I got that. I also asked straight away if the baby cot that we had ordered when we made the reservation had been considered. I was assured that there will be a cot in the room. Unfortunately, when we were able to go to the room shortly after 2:00 p.m., there was no cot there. Next we had to find out that the fridge is locked. I addressed both at the reception and was assured that the cot would come into the room in the afternoon. It's almost 6 p.m. now, but there's no sign of a cot! As for the refrigerator, I was told to push the door down or up a little, and then it opened. This is not true either! As a guest here, you feel like you're just being a nuisance to the staff at this hotel. I strongly advise against this hotel! There are countless other good hotels in Lisbon where you feel like a guest and not a "foreign body".

Stayed here for one night as we were in Lisbon to watch Sporting Club de Portugal. Chose the hotel specifically for location and easy transport to the airport and the stadium. Staff were fantastic with us, letting us check in early. The rooms were great, good size and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was superb! Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Lisbon. Would highly recommend.

The hotel had met my expectations. Great location, you have the bus stops, metro Roma, and train station super nearby. The hotel itself has restaurant, lounge, bar, meeting rooms, fitness and spa. My individual room is spacious, quiet, has a balcony, and well-equipped. I love the design of each floor, so creative. Very recommended if you have bussiness trips or to see football matches.

Good and comfortable, but not easy to solve an issue if you have one they should be flexible to hear your voice from the beginning instead of wasting your time trying to explain your self until they understand you are right

Unfortunately this is the only 4 star hotel that I’ve been before that do not provide you with any bottle of drinking water and wants to charge you €2.50 for it. Just to give you a bit of context, you can get a bottle in a nearby supermarket for €0.2. Disgusting. No tea, pen, notepad or spoons at all in the room and you will also be charged €1.75 per capsule if you use any of their coffee capsule. We were aware of this so we did not use any of the items in the room. Even that, they tried to charge us for consuming their coffee without checking properly and only drop those charges when we told them that we touched nothing. Avoid this place if you can. There are other better hotels in Lisbon for cheaper.

This hotel should be a 2 star and not 4star. Me and my friend we stayed here for 4 days the elevator wasn't working so it was very difficult going from the 9 floor all the way downstairs or upstairs. The beds are really horrible so if you're looking for a good night sleep just forget about it. There's no kettle in the room for you to make tea they have a coffee machine which you have to pay so much for. The hotel looks like it's a rundown government housing. The bathroom was very difficult to get into because of the way is design very poorly. The manager is very rude so if you need any help or anything changing or fixing just forget about it. The only thing I really enjoyed from here was the breakfast and the staff working there they were very friendly. There's better hotel to stay in Lisbon so will definitely not come back.

I arrived at 10:00 from The airport tried to check and they told me that check-in was at 2 o’clock. I’m supposed to have two rooms and I ask if My rooms were together the rude man said yes. I left and returned at 1:40 and the rude man said again that my rooms were still not ready. I sat in the lobby and at two o’clock people started lining up on the counter so when it was my turn it was 240 and the rude man told me that he only had one room ready I would have to wait , or choose to have separate rooms in different floors or I can have that one room and wait for the other one to be ready what kind of service is this? I told him I was going to take the one room and wait for the other room when it was ready. By this time it was past 3 :40 when I got both rooms. I would not choose this hotel unless I was going from the airport after 3:00P. M. They need to go fir training for customer service.

DON'T MAKE ANY RESERVATION IF YOU DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOUR MONEY!! steer clear of this hotel in Portugal. Despite its promises of modern amenities and high-quality service, the reality falls painfully short. The bathroom fixtures were substandard, and it was evident that corners were cut wherever possible: furniture was made of cheap plastic, the complimentary toiletries were minimal, consisting of tiny bottles of shower gel and shampoo, and we were even greeted with the remaining toilet paper roll from previous guests. The carpets throughout every floor were disgustingly dirty, making Portuguese streets seem pristine in comparison. There were additional charges for everything—no welcome drink, not even a complimentary cup of coffee. Water was priced at €2.5, and coffee at around €1.5. The breakfast was a disaster: not only were the food items of poor quality, with sausages that had likely never seen meat, scrambled eggs resembling egg soup, and bacon that looked like spoiled meat, but also the food was cold and unappetizing. Juices that should have been chilled were warm, and the coffee tasted like tinted water. Service was remarkably unprofessional. One felt constantly watched, and plates were whisked away the moment the last bite was taken, adding unnecessary stress to the meal experience. The most frustrating moment was leaving a full cup of coffee and returning to find the table cleared—understandable once, but unforgivable when it happened again the next day foe the second time in an almost empty restaurant with plenty of staff. Wasting more than €160 for 2 nights for such an experience is outrageous. The quality of this hotel, in comparison to German standards, would barely scrape two to three stars. The overall quality was abysmally low, making it a total disappointment!!! In their case wearing name SMART means to safe every cent everywhere and cash for everything, so smart.

As a four star hotel, they miss some necessity items, such as face tissue and slippers, taking shower is inconvenient and dangerous, it is very slippery inside the bathtub, I can hardly stand there, need to extremely careful to avoid a fall. Also There are lots of noises in the hallway, service is poor and location is not very good either. I don’t know how they become a 4 star!

The hotel itself is very nice. The rooms are fantastic... the reason I gave a low rating is due to the staff. The guys working at front desk are rude and not helpful at all. The only nice person was the lady that worked one day. Breakfast was nice and the staff working there is also nice and helpful... HOTEL NEEDS TO IMPROVE ON THERE FRONT DESK STAFF

Horrible place. I checked out early. Dirty towels, room NOTHING like the photos of their profile, dead bug in my room, breakfast is chaotic and very low quality. Don’t stay here. (Furthermore, the dead bug on the bedside table was still there after the cleaner and been and gone…)

The staff were friendly, helpful and extremely professional. The room was above what we expected. Very modern and fantastically clean. The breakfast was average. The coffee was awful. Sugary no matter what option was available on the machine We were out of the city but there was great transport links around us. Worth the stay. Perfect for a city stay.

Very nice, themed hotel, with spotlessly clean, spacious rooms. Balcony with city view was especially nice. Breakfast selection was decent and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. 3 minutes walk to the subway station, which is an excellent service with regular trains into the town centre. Highly recommended

I highly recommend this hotel. They were very welcoming and flexible and even answered my questions at 6 in the morning. The beds are super comfy and everything looks so modern/clean. Breakfast was nice, and this hotel is rare in that its breakfast coffee is much better tasting compared to all the other hotels I stayed at in Portugal. It's very close to the metro and the airport which is another very big plus. I would most certainly stay here again.

Not exactly right in the city centre but with a good transport link to the city and the airport this hotel is a great stay for the sightseeing as well as for the business travelers. Decent size rooms. Minimalistic and yet smart interior with no WOW factor though. Powerful shower unit in the bathroom. Good standard of cleanliness. Great soundproofing. The balcony is a bonus! The drawback is that there's no kettle in the room instead of it you can use a coffee maker machine, but free here is only tap water, for each capsule of coffee you have to pay € 1.75, even for the tiny sachet of an instant coffee. How generous! Enjoy your coffee and your stay indeed! Oh, I've forgotten to mention; a very comfortable bed, thank you.

The service is nice but the bathroom has neither toothbrush or toothpaste 🥲 There’s also bugs on the floor, no fresh air from the air conditioner. Overall is not that bad but they must do better to become worthy of a four star hotel and fit this price.

Non smoking room had smell of smoke, they tried removing it by spraying chemicals- so I slept in room with an unpleasant smell; checked in late (overnight night on airport layover). Dinner in their restaurant was overpriced for the small portions served. Having just spent 12 days in Madeira island and Azores where I experienced much better service and food quality - this was not great.

I stayed here as part of a group, but the hotel was great. My room was spotless, VERY clean, I looked for things to fault and couldn’t! Superb bathroom. Beds were super comfy, large tv screen, everything needed was there, even a wall of mirrors. On the 8th floor we had a great view and could see planes getting ready to land. Breakfast was very good with varied choice of food and a nice coffee. Ok, there was 3 things that could be better: small lifts and only 2 of them taking people to many floors, so this caused queues to form and also I could not make the AC work in my room, so just kept my windows open, trains were a bit noisy, but this did not take anything away from my experience of this place. Oh, did I mention own balcony too?!

The hotel is conveniently located in a quieter area, close to the underground and railway stations and the airport. Loads of small cafes nearby for breakfast. Nice and comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff. A bit of criticism for taking away the used towels, but not replacing them with fresh ones, so had to get staff to bring them in the middle of the night when we returned. Otherwise good

Clean and modern hotel. Sometimes only one person can damage the reputation of an hotel. The check out is like every where but you can stay till 2pm for 50 euro and till 6pm for 80. We where a big group and every one left 9am. I had to stay till I could get my medication. Unfortunately the medication arrived late at 2h30 and When checking out I was asked 80 EUR because I was 30 minutes after 2pm. I know the law is for them but if you are a big group what happened if you make a gesture. To bad.

Good location next to the metro in a quiet urban area. Convenience shops and small restaurants around. Comfortable beds and great breakfast

Small rooms. Rude staff. Ask you to buy coffee pods for coffee machine in the rooms. Small dining area for breakfast so gets crowded.

  • 4/5 Ian C. 1 year ago on Google
Just outside the central city, but great transport links. Close to Roma railway station. Watch out, they charge you for the"free" coffee pods in the room.

  • 3/5 Jessica L. 1 year ago on Google
We were out of the city but transport links were near, there's buses, a metro station, tram Station right opposite. The staff were friendly and helpful, all could speak English. The room was clean and modern, very "smartly designed". We had a balcony although the city view, quite literally was a view of back of the hotels rooftop, nothing much. No kettle, no iron, they had 2 bottles of water, a few snacks and a coffee machines (instant tea and coffee) but had to pay for all that - not sure if that's the norm in Portugal? WiFi speed was good, was a TV on the room too. Rooms definitely not soundproof but decent. Pretty good for the price.

I was lucky to have a dinner in this hotel with a friend. The meal was exceptional, the cook did a great job for a low carb vegetarian like me.

Booked the suite, the rooms were not as clean as they should be, bathroom is dated. The hotel doesn’t give you a iron (so strange) and the front desk is extremely rude. The hotel is 2 mins from the metro, train and bus stops, lots of places to eat. I wouldn’t have stayed longer if not for these two reasons. Sofa cum bed is not comfortable.

This hotel is sort of misunderstanding. 4 stars but in fact, 2-3 max. Very loud device on balcony, even though your air conditioner is not turned on in the room, outside there's a noise every few days. Mini bar was locked on key and I had to wait for service to open it, then |I found a small bottle of water for 2.5 EUR! Ridiculous. There is no iron... guess what. They have only laundry service so you pay for this... unacceptable. You can find an iron even in cheap hostel! Pictures on websites and platforms look different then what you find inside, a bit "photoshopped". So rooms should be refreshed, at least bathroom was fine and clean. Pitty there is no balm, cotton pad, but only tissue and shower gel. Good thing is metro and train station really close. Breakfasts are so-so, meat and vegetables really not tasty. Sorry to say! Coffee from simple coffee machine is achievable, but you can ask for a proper one from express. However, if you ask for milk you need to pay for this! What is funnier, if you want weigh your luggage, you need to pay 1 EUR! Ha. I won't be back, sorry but totally not worth the price and this is the most disappointing in this whole story.

It's always good to be back to this hotel! Excellent service, accommodations, clean and real near to public transportation than can get us from east, center or west Lisbon in no more than 10 minutes. Best place to be also when planning a visit to Sintra and not to forget, 5 minutes from the airport.

  • 4/5 Sirpe P. 1 year ago on Google
Good hotel far from the crowded centre. Large rooms, many have balconies. Many nice restaurants close by. Metro. Only not good is that 2 lifts are not enough. The breakfast is not impressive.

  • 4/5 Mary P. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice hotel with an impeccable service. First room they attributed to us was dirty after a previous customer, but the staff apologized and gave us a better room instead. The room we were placed in was indeed pretty and spacious. It had a varanda, two big beds with one mirror wall in front, a medium sized TV and a bathroom. My favorite part was a bed, big and very comfortable, and a bathroom, mainly because of that beautiful lighting. It also looked renewed/unused, which I can't say about the main room: floors are all scratched as well as some parts on the walls. It was nice to have a table on varanda, but, unfortunately, we couldn't even let the window be open, because there is so much noise coming from the airport and the train station. What surprised me the most, in a negative way, was how high the prices are for all of the food and drinks from mini bar. There is not a single thing for free and, in my opinion, it's ridiculous to ask 2.50€ for 0.5L water and 1.75€ for a coffee capsule, especially when all those things are super cheap in the supermarket nearby. Another disappointment was an elevator, it takes ages to come, there were people waiting for it for like 15min with all their luggage.

Room is modern design with tub, spacious for family of 3 although our room is located at the end of the corridor. Breakfast Corner is western style like bacon, sausage, yoghurt, made Yr own waffle machine etc. Service at the breakfast restaurant is efficient except the lift button for that level is not working properly and queues form just to enter the small lift (can only press down, can't press up). Hotel is located near the train station. For convenience (coming from main train station direction), best to exit the middle of the station (ground level - there is a exit to the neighbourhood building)as is nearer to the hotel or you can travel up the escalator and just walk all the way through the shelter corridor and cross the traffic light to reach the hotel. Hotel is far away from city but situated in a nice neighbourhood with restaurants, marts and cafes nearby and neighbourhoods is safe.

Firstly the beds in this hotel were amazing! I have never slept in a bed that comfy and I now compare everything to the bed! The hotel staff were helpful and the whole service of the hotel was good too. But by far the beds made it 11/10! I need to know the bedding they use

Great Location, great customer service and care!! Was the perfect hotel for a 5 day city break in Lisbon! Would definitely return…Rooms are large the beds are massive and super comfortable!! Overall great stay!! The location is perfect to access all of Lisbon, buses and metro and main train station all within 3 minutes of the hotel…would definitely recommend!!!

Super friendly staff throughout the hotel, reception staff were as fluent in English as i am and were extremely welcoming and helpful. Rooms had a reputation for cleanliness and did not disappoint, spotless and attended every day, clean towels. A bit strange there was no plug in the sink in the bathroom but you get used to it. Nice bath with rain head shower over. Close proximity to metro, just a short walk. Even closer to train station and taxi to the airport at 4.00am was 9.40 euros + tip. Just need to add an iron and kettle in the rooms and would definitely be a 5 star rating.

Superb one night stay while transiting through Lisbon. Close to the airport, only a 3.50 euro Uber ride and 100% better than any airport hotel. Excellent restaurants around this hotel also. The room was immaculate and comfortable, the front desk staff was superb. I'd absolutely return for a longer stay in Lisbon and would recommend. Great price/quality value as well.

Rude staff! Arrived at 12 Noon after a red eye flight and they did not offer early check-in. I was told to come back at 2PM. I came back at 2PM and the room was not what I booked. I paid for a double bed with a “city view”. What I received was a twin bed and a view of the roof in the adjacent building. I immediately went back down stairs to ask about receiving the proper room I paid for and was told that was all they had. I asked for a refund and they told me they could not. Good thing I booked on a credit card so it can be disputed and booked another hotel. Stay away from this hotel! Worst experience ever! After wai

Good location near Roma subway station and proximity to airport. Rooms are newly refurbished, functional and clean. Ample TV channels in many different languages. Breakfast buffet is simple, yet we'll stocked. Gluten free items are not available - bring your own. Only two elevators, thus expect to wait during peak periods. Overall good value for money.
