This is an ideal location to explore Lisbon and accommodation is perfect. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were the friendliest and most helpful I have ever encountered. We were a party of two couples, one of each couple celebrating their birthdays on the same day - which included my 60th birthday. We were gifted complementary champage - both of us. The breakfast choices were superb, the lounge area always well stocked with coffee, different teas, lemon or plain iced water, port or moscatel to taste whenever you wish, little natas and cake. It is well situated, the staff are extremely knowledgable. I can't think of one negative, my husband and I have stayed in another lovely hotel up the hill and on the other side of the road previously but this was by far the best. We are looking at making a return trip in April 2023 and will be staying here as long as they can accommodate us. Thank you to every member of staff we encountered from the cleaning and waiting staff to the reception team, door staff and management. You made our four day break an exceptional experience.

We stayed here for 4 nights over a weekend. Our room was very nice, beautifully furnished with a large bed and bathroom. All the staff were excellent and there are lots of nice little extra touches such as afternoon tea, port in our room and a surprise bottle of wine on the night we arrived. The location is excellent being easy to get to from the airport and yet close to the city centre for trains and buses. There are lots of high end shops close by and restaurants just behind the hotel. We will stay here again. It’s not cheap but still good overall value. When we were there there were quite a lot of US visitors either ending or starting cruises.

I selected this hotel because I was going to be staying alone as a solo traveler and I wanted a pool so I could do laps. This hotel was ideal for me as it was well situated, in a safe area and had an indoor pool. I was surprised to find the rooms to be quite spacious as some European rooms in the city are small. The breakfast was simple but the variety was good. The receptionists were lovely and accommodating. I have not stayed at any other Lisbon city hotel but when I was doing my research, the price for this hotel was average to high but I think that comes down the amenities and location.

This is our favorite hotel to stay in when we are in Lisbon. The staff is very friendly and they are capable of attending to your needs, whether it’s a restaurant recommendation or where to find the best pastel de nata in town. They are willing and able to help. I normally do not eat the free food that hotels provide because they are usually poor quality—not this place. Their breakfast is delicious and well stacked. There’s enough variety from their breakfast offerings to satisfy most picky eaters. Lastly, the location is ideal for people who wants to explore Lisbon. It is surrounded not only with great restaurants but also with abundant shopping.

We spent four nights in this fabulous hotel. A great location in Lisbon. Our room was very quiet and comfortable and the breakfast/lounge area was so relaxing. The outstanding feature were the helpful and friendly staff. We had an issue with a planned tour, and yhe staff went out of their way to assist us. We would recommend this hotel to any traveller. Thanks for a great stay.

Absolutely love this hotel. Excellent location within easy walking distance of everything but also very slightly removed from the very busy areas of the city which makes it a little quieter and quaint in the evening. The lobby is beautiful and our room was extremely spacious and well appointed with 2 large windows which open up to Juliet balconies. Breakfast is included and offers everything one would want. Stayed during a massive heatwave of 40 degree days and the a/c in the room worked perfectly and kept us cool. Would highly recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Staff were very welcoming, room was well kept and spacious . They even provided a bottle of port in our room on arrival. Reception/lobby area was very clean and they offer free refreshments like cakes and Pastel de nata, and unlimited port wine. Gym and swimming pool was a nice touch too but not very big. Altogether a very pleasant experience, Highly recommend

A small boutique hotel it was a wonderful experience. We were there for the week after Christmas and celebrated the New Year. They were super helpful with suggestions for places to see or eat. We had to get covid tested and they found us a place nearby that did reservations and even did the computer work for us and printed out our results. A great place to stay and in the middle of everything. Would definitely return.

This is a five-star hotel mascarading as four stars. The service is impeccable, unpretentious, and friendly. Our room was very comfortable with all that you could need. This is a boutique hotel built in a 19th-century townhouse. From the street, it looks unpretentious, but the lobby and lounge/breakfast room are unique and very welcoming. Breakfast is all you could ask for, and in the afternoon, there is port wine available as well as cold water and some sweet treats so you can relax and plan your evening. Skip the old, warm coffee. They should leave their breakfast coffee machine on the counter. We are now travelling through Portugal but happly returning to the Liberdade for a few days before heading home. I'll choose this hotel over any of the big chains.

Great hotel well located in the city center, very nice and friendly staff.... pleasant room, quiet and good bedding. Varied and good breakfast served until 12:00. A little extra from the hotel which serves you small local patisseries all day long with tea and Porto for free. Swimming pool accessible 24/7. Thank you to the hotel management for offering us local champagne....for our two respective birthdays. We will come back without hesitation.

The whole stay was really lovely! The staff were incredibly friendly and let us check in earlier. The room was spacious with a great view and with port wine and Molton Brown toiletries in the room and coffee, moscatel and port wine in the downstairs lobby. The breakfast was not the biggest but had everything to start the day on a good note. We also used the on site parking (15eur/night) but just to drop the car off as the hotel is brilliantly located with all the main poitns of interest in the city within walking distance. Excellent hotel, would stay again!

Our family loved staying at this hotel. The hotel lobby was so inviting and we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast as well as an afternoon snack. The room was very clean and cozy. I had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful boutique hotel for four days, located ideally in Rossio Square next to the train and metro station. The hotel is surrounded by great restaurants offering delicious food, wine, and desserts, as well as fantastic shopping options and Lisbon events. The room was large and extremely comfortable, and the staff were very diligent in keeping it clean and tidy. The room featured a mini bar, safe, bidet, and a spacious shower. An excellent breakfast was available until noon, offering a selection of cheese, ham, scrambled eggs, cereal, bread, yogurt, assorted fruits and vegetables, coffee, tea, and desserts, including the famous Portuguese pastry, Pastel De Natas. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.

We spent 5 nights. The service is wonderful. It’s so quiet even where it’s located and nice to get away from people. It was very comfortable.

We absolutely loved it here! The room was very quiet, clean, and comfy. The staff were great, too. We drove into Lisbon and they were so helpful reserving a parking spot right outside the hotel. The breakfast was great. Despite being on the 1st floor, we didn't hear any noise in our room. It was winter, but I am particularly sensitive to noise and it was totally fine for me. (If there is a noise I will hear it.) It's within walking distance to restaurants but not so close you can hear them. It was a great choice.

This is a really good hotel in the heart of Lisbon. The staff are brilliant and the rooms are very elegant and spacious with the most comfortable bed. The jet pool is just ok, the jets didn’t seem to be working while we were there and in reality the pool can only manage one person at a time or maybe a couple together. The location is everything here, it really is in the heart of the city on one of Lisbons finest streets. If you’re looking for a special city get away I highly recommend Lisbon and this magnificent hotel.

This was our first trip to Portugal and we stayed at Hotel Heritage Avenida da Liberdade for 4 days before moving on to Porto. It was the perfect location for walking around Lisbon. Every night there was Port wine available in the bar and it was a nice way to wrap up the day. They had a breakfast every morning and it was just the right amount of food to help kickstart our day of exploring. Service hands down was amazing. The only issue we had was they do not provide laundry service, which we had factored that in to our trip. It wasn't ideal, but we were able to hand wash some items in the bathroom. Despite that, we both truly enjoyed staying at the hotel and would do it again.

A really exceptional boutique hotel. They should train other hotels on how to provide a great guest experience. Comfortable, quiet sleep, good breakfast, helpful staff and a great location. Plus a nicely done room. I love when rooms have been given aesthetic upgrades like moulding, trim and local pictures. This hotel rocks, great job!

Helpful, friendly staff. Loved the large windows. Wish they weren’t covered with such bulky curtains.

I had a very pleasant stay here. My room had a perfect blend of elegance and coziness. The size of the room was lofty in proportion. This boutique hotel is located near many fashionable shops. I do have to take a moment to thank the hotel staff for their professionalism and kindness.

This is an amazing hotel in a great location. The train station is less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The main square, mall, walking tours, and restaurants are all within walking distance. The staff at the hotel is friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean with super comfortable beds, which is not always the case with beds in Europe. The bathroom is beautiful with a double sink and bidet. The hotel offers breakfast and has a great tea selection. I can’t rave enough about this hotel. I will definitely stay here again!
