Amazing hotel, used to work in hotels myself so I am fussy, and literally cannot recommend this place enough! Location is perfect for exploring Lisbon, centrally located, close to transport and easy to go and explore without immediately being hit by hills! Staff are so friendly and welcoming, cannot fault them at all. Rooms are among the best I’ve stayed in, so spacious I almost thought I’d booked a suite. We had two rooms one facing the Main Street which was lovely with the sunlight coming in and remarkably quiet! The other facing the terrace/ garden area which is a little slice of calmness in the city. The beds and pillows were super comfortable which is always hard to get right. I went with a friend but I’d also say this is perfect for couples and families and anyone visiting Lisbon. The only thing I could recommend to improve is the hairdryer and shampoo in the bathroom (plus adding conditioner!) but let’s be honest, most hotels could improve this! If you’re thinking about booking, do not hesitate. I stayed at iberostar the month prior and this was by far a better experience.

The best hotel we have stayed at in Lisbon to date. The location is ideal, right in the centre of the city, next door to the theatre, and surrounded by bars and restaurants. Given the location we stayed in a room overlooking the courtyard at the rear of the hotel. It was very peaceful and quiet, you would not have known you were in the centre of the city. The room was very clean and well maintained. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We also had food in the restaurant which was also very good. When we return to Lisbon this hotel will be our first choice.

The Lisbon Wine Hotel was simply sensational. It is a nice, clean hotel located in a lively neighborhood with great restaurants and shopping options. The staff is terrific and super friendly. I'm glad I made the decision to stay there and will definitely stay there again the next time I'm in Lisbon.

This hotel is great on the inside with good customer service. It is in the heart of everything which is good and bad. The reason for the lower rating is not necessarily the hotel's fault but you get pestered by everyone including drug dealers walking in and out of the hotel and the area which leads to a less than peaceful time at the hotel. Rooms are quiet and beds are comfortable. I like the stay just wish police would get the issues under control in this particular spot.

A nice boutique hotel with great service and good food as well. It’s in a touristy part of Lisbon however it’s also very central to everything. If you don’t mind a little noise from time to time you’ll enjoy your stay here.

Lovely little downtown hotel, just a few minutes from the metro and bus/tram. Helpful staff and perfect location.

They used to be friendly and allow people to use the bathroom without purchasing something. Now, they've changed the policy, and I had to purchase a coffee. I don't like the cheap, nespresso garbage they provide, hence the low review.

This was our best stay during our 3 week trip throughout Portugal and Spain! The bed is so comfortable that I didn't want to get out! I had an amazing sleep (and I'm a very light sleeper). The large shower with over sized rain head was outstanding. Then you slip into your monogrammed robe and slippers to enjoy a glass of wine from the complimentary bottle offered in the room as you look out your window over Lisbon. I felt like a queen! The staff are so attentive. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left they were available to attend to our every need. You don't get that type of personalized service at a large chain hotel. Special thanks to Rhuan, Diogo and the Brazilian gentlemen who ran the breakfast table, they made us Azorean visitors from Canada feel welcome and at home. And let's talk breakfast. It's served from 7:30 to 10:30 am next to the lobby area. Fresh coffee, made to order eggs and bacon, fresh bread rolls, mini pancakes, cold cuts, fruit, freshly squeezed juices, yogurt, sweets, the options are varied and all elegantly displayed and served. Being Portuguese we have very healthy appetites, and we were able to satisfy them every morning! The rooms are exactly as displayed in the photos. Lush monogrammed towels? Yes please! The location is great, central to everything. You can walk, take metro, bus, or electric tram close by. We highly recommend this hotel and will be recommending to others. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Small boutique hotel with friendly staff. Rooms unfortunately a bit dated and not cleaned very well. Breakfast standard-isch for Portugal. Great location.

Perfect small hotel in a great location. The meal we ate in the restaurant was very good. Our smallish room was very comfortable and perfectly clean. Staff were lovely.

Didn’t stay here but we enjoyed the sidewalk cafe. Good food & wine in a peaceful setting amidst the busy tourist restaurants.

First of all the room is superb! Clean and the amenities are first rate. But, the best part is the service! Efficient, friendly and super accommodating! Bruno, who checked us in booked a restaurant for us which turned out fabulous! Bruno, you’re first rate!!!

Pros: Very quiet rooms, excellent location, friendly atmosphere, lovely breakfast. Enjoyed the experience and would come again. Cons: The bathrooms in the rooms have zero sound proofing and transparently emit light during the night. Cross your fingers you are very comfortable with your partner. Couldn't arrange a taxi in the morning for less than 45+ euros to the airport (sounded like hotel policy? She told me it was a bad deal).

I asked for a simple glass of white wine and when the bill came, they charged us NINE EUROS for a glass of wine! This is unacceptable! I suggest you read the latest reviews before falling into this trap.

Bruno is the best! You are lucky if he is the one checking you in! He made sure everything was okay for me and my husbands anniversary in Lisbon, even got us some natas! We travel a lot and also run Hospitality business and he really understands what Hospitality is about! He understood our taste and gave great recommendations. Elena is also great!! When I got sick, she took great care of me with medicine and tea in the morning. All of the staff are amazing! The waiter doing the restaurant, ruhan, elena and bruno is what makes Lisbon Wine Hotel so special. Muito brigado! ❤️

Everyone I had contact with were pleasant and helpful. Very nice staff. The hotel is in a very good location but still quiet inside. It was clean and modern. I had a “classic room” which apparently is not the smallest, but it is Very compact. It would be uncomfortably small for two people traveling with more than one piece of luggage. Also there was no robe or flip flops as noted on the amenity list on the website and I did not receive a complementary bottle of wine, even though when I arrived the desk told me I would, so 🤷🏻‍♀️. Nice little balcony overlooking a pretty courtyard.

Really great location in the central part of town. Folks are friendly and the rooms was really nice and clean. Plus they had a Nespresso maker in the room which I think is a must. Wish we had stayed longer!

Stayed at the hotel for six nights and loved it. The hotel is small and extremely quiet. The location is perfect for sightseeing the whole of Lisbon. The staff is very nice and helpful. The room I had faced the street but with the balcony doors closed you could not hear any of the busy street just one floor below. There is an inner courtyard with great Wi-Fi if you are working remote. The bed and room was extremely comfortable. The room is not large but has everything you need. The hotel is extremely clean and well appointed. Would highly recommend this hotel above some of the bigger fancier options in Lisbon.

This is a great place in a fabulous location. In Lisbon many of the hotels can be hit or miss, even the 5 stars (I've stayed at 3 of them here). This place checks all the boxes for most people - amazing staff, nice breakfast, LARGE rooms (with all amenities), great location close to Liberdade. Will definitely repeat.

I had such a lovely stay here, 5 nights, the location is superb, within 10 minutes to all the major attractions, staff was just so nice and helpful, breakfast was delicious and my sheets smelled so fresh every night. My room faced the courtyard and it was very quiet, bed was very comfortable and my stay was excellent. Again everyone is very kind and helpful at the hotel starting with an early check in as I flew in early and fresh breakfast. Thank you so much hope to be back.
