2-stars
for
the
sauna,
that
was
a
nice
touch.
Other
than
that,
I
was
unpleasantly
surprised
by
my
time
at
Evolution
-
especially
after
having
read
all
of
the
rave
reviews.
I
spent
6
nights
at
Evolution,
and
never
really
felt
welcome
there.
The
staff
wasn’t
very
hospitable
for
being
in
hospitality.
They
were
always
very
short
with
me
when
I
had
simple
questions,
or
was
ordering
something
from
downstairs.
At
one
point,
an
older
gentlemen
barked
at
me
to
apply
hand
sanitizer
to
my
hands
upon
entering,
after
a
day
out
exploring
the
town,
was
very
bizarre
and
off-putting.
Another
morning,
as
I
was
heading
out,
I
made
eye
contact
with
another
gentleman
who
works
there
-
gave
a
head
nod
and
a
wave
as
I
was
exiting
-
he
just
stared
at
me
blankly.
I’m
not
trying
to
sound
particular
here,
but
it’s
the
little
things
like
that
that
are
quite
important
in
the
world
of
hospitality.
The
pillows
were
not
particularly
comfortable;
the
AC
in
the
room
doesn’t
go
very
low
(was
often
very
warm
when
trying
to
sleep);
the
room
becomes
very
humid
after
taking
a
shower,
so
you’re
sweating
as
you
get
dressed;
speaking
of,
the
shower
has
a
mind
of
it’s
own
-
the
water
goes
from
scalding
to
cold
to
the
level
you
placed
it
-
back
to
scalding
then
cold
again,
mid-shower;
the
light
fixtures
were
confusing
and
poorly
executed
-
I
understand
they’re
trying
to
be
“modern”,
but
it’s
all
such
a
hassle;
the
location
is
not
particularly
convenient
if
you
want
to
explore
the
best
parts
of
the
city
-
it’s
in
a
very
residential
part
of
town
-
a
20-30
minute
subway
from
anywhere
you’d
want
to
be
as
a
visitor.
One
morning,
an
employee
who
was
coming
to
clean
the
room
just
barged
in
without
knocking,
as
I
was
in
my
underwear,
it
was
very
awkward.
Knock
first,
perhaps?
I
believe
that’s
standard
protocol.
Anyway,
they
need
to
work
on
their
professionalism
and
I
will
not
be
staying
here
next
time
I’m
in
Lisbon.
