LOVE this hotel. I will recommend this hotel over and over. I liked the location. It was easy to get to main train and bus stations plus the neighborhoods surrounding the hotel. The staff is fantastic! Everyone is always making sure you have everything you need for a great time in Lisbon. Front desk, concierge and bellmen were all happy to help you with restaurants suggestions, what tours are worth doing, and in my case, the best coffee shops to feed my addiction. They all have tips for visiting historical sites and really anything else you might need. If you want a quick layout of the city they give a free waking tour twice a day. If you need a break from the city and heat, there is a living room in the basement that holds artifacts that were found in the construction of the building along with comfortable chairs/couches and a mini library of books to borrow. Perfect place to chill out in peace and quiet. Food was great and staff at the restaurant were all very attentive. If you do stay here make sure you walk a lot because the permanent snack table they have out in the lobby is hard to resist. Not including their daily wine tasting and late night snacks.

So far, and we have a couple more days, amazing. Price for what you get compared to major cities in the US for the same price.... this is way better! The staff goes out of their way to help. The food / breakfast is great, the room is clean and big, and the location for someone visiting for their first time is on point. Would highly recommend

The room facilities of this hotel have indeed reached the standard of an ordinary five-star hotel. But unfortunately, some front desk staff have a bad attitude, such as chewing gum when communicating with me face to face, and laughing directly when they don't understand a word in English. I noticed when I asked them to clean my room they didn't have my room number on record and sure enough it wasn't cleaned when I got back in the evening. I don't think I should put up with such a bad service attitude when I paid close to 1000 euros for 3 nights. It is true that the hotel offers a lot of free items, but they are all small things that are not worth the money. I hope the hotel can learn from other five-star hotels. Improving service quality is better than sending some fancy things.

This is the best hotel I have been to. The staff make this place just amazing. Everything has been thought off. We will be back here again. They serve great breakfast. The site has historic significance on the lower floor, and the rooms are large and tasteful furnished. They have guided tours twice a day. The place has an amazing spa. And the list goes on and on.

Best five star hotel I’ve stayed at, but the price is extremely affordable for a five star. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms spacious and homey, and so so so much complimentary goods and services! Tour of the room with shower sound system, welcome basket with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries, 20min free massage, 24-hour snacks and ice cream in the lobby, two daily free walking tours of the city, complimentary mini bar, and even a pillow menu! Also stumbled upon the historical site in the basement of the hotel, it was very interesting. Will definitely come back.

Fabulous Hotel. Outstanding service. Took both complimentary walking tours and Victoria and Miguel were terrific. So many complimentary offers; 20 min massage, late night buffet, ice cream, hot beverage and more. Great breakfast and ideal location. Would stay here again.

Location is great, very clean boutique style hotel. Unusual and very comfortable sitting hall at the basement with sort of museum and historical features. Very good restaurant- worth booking in advance for dinner. Good bar. Valet parking- you need to allow 30-40 minutes for them to bring your car. Recently refurbished clean rooms. Though the size is less than expected for that price. Friendly, professional and helpful staff, thank you! Aircon is either faulty or set up wrongly. It looks for me the hotel staff set it for temperate 26c and if the guests are complaining them they immediately send an engineer to “fix it”. In practice it meant that we were staying 3 nights and I called the engineer three times. Three times I had different explanation and it ended up either freezing 17c or 26c. I tried to open windows, but we had bus stop under the room (218) and it was noisy. No way we could manage the temperature ourselves. The hotel is occupying few old buildings and the corridors are quite long. There is only one staircase and I bet you would not find it easily- it was like a small quest. The breakfast was not bad, but there was no easy buffet option - you have to order and wait.

Excellent hotel, excellent staff. Large, well appointed rooms. Staff is above and beyond friendly/accommodating. Love the location by the river. Super close (1 block) to pink street (if that's on your list), Time Out market, and great restaurants. I'll definitely stay there again.

The staff of this hotel is just unbelievable. They made our stay a real pleasure. We have stayed already in a lot of really good hotels, but this team is just different. We've never seen something like this. Whatever you need, they try to arrange it. So friendly and nice. We had a great walking tour with Victoria who has so much knowledge of Lisbon's history and told it with a lot of humor. Same goes with the team of the reception and concierge. They all made our stay unforgettable. Thank you so much

What a lovely hotel, one of the best I've ever stayed in. Stayed 4 nights recently and enjoyed everything about it. From the staff at reception (hi Pedro) to the breakfast staff in the restaurant,(hi Veronica) everyone was helpful and friendly. The Jr suite was large, as was the the Moulton Brown equipped bathroom. A bottle of wine in our room every evening, free food from 11pm, free ice cream, ++ you get the picture!

I recently stayed at Hotel Corpo Santo, and it's truly one of the best hotels I've ever visited. The staff's kindness and exceptional problem-solving skills set a new standard. The porters were wonderful and incredibly helpful. The hotel's prime location and its outstanding restaurant, especially the tasty breakfast, added to the overall experience. The bathroom, equipped with sound and light effects for meditation during a bath, was a super cool and unique touch. I absolutely loved my stay and will definitely be returning.

Fabulous spot with great amenities! Staff are the best. Don't miss the walking tours included in your stay! These folks give valuable insights not only on the hotel but also on the history of Lisbon. The location of the hotel is ideal for getting about Lisbon. I think this may be one of the best hotel experiences I've had!

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE stay and experience at this hotel! The room is very comfortable and beautifully furnished. The bed and pillow were awesome. The staff and service were impeccable and they were especially friendly and engaging at the lobby, always offering us the free snack and ready to help. Breakfast is 100% ala carte and the menu was good enough and very delicious. Indeed one of the best and memorable 5-star hotel we had stayed at. Excellent value too! Can’t find any fault with it.

One of the best hotels I've been. Located in the center of Lisbon but still in a street where you can enjoy the quiet. Indulgent and delicious breakfast and the hotel restaurant is simply perfect. You must try one of their special cocktails. Clean and luxurious rooms. A simply perfect hotel, if I return to Lisbon then only here. And don't forget to visit the hotel's spa. Promises to be great.

Beautiful hotel. Great staff service. The hotel provides a lot of perks from snacks, water and ice cream at the lobby, to complimentary midnight snacks, to complimentary massage and complimentary well-stocked mini bar. The team gave us an experience to remember. From the simplest detail of changing the hotel address in Uber so that you don't get picked up or drop off a block away to making sure that you are well directed to your destination. Location is perfect. Would like to say thanks to: Ana Garcia - concierge Sergio - manager Joana - restaurant Andre - bellhop Badsha - bellhop As well as the rest of the team. Highly recommend to anyone who's looking for a good hotel in Lisbon to stay.

My husband and I started our European honeymoon here and felt right at home at the Corpo Santo. They went above and beyond to make our stay special. Hotel amenities are above and beyond including free daily walking tours, wine tasting happy hours and massages. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable throughout our stay. We highly recommend this hotel not only for the prime location near Pink Street, the waterfront area and Commerce square, but also for everything they do to make Lisbon so special!

We loved our stay at Corpo Santo. They offered us 20 minutes of free massages and we extended it to get the full hour. We were very happy with the therapists. We feel very relaxed. We have also enjoyed the little snacks that the staff are leaving to our rooms and the common areas. And of course, the emergency ice cream at the lobby. It's our second stay at Corpo Santo, and we highly recommend it.

My wife and I are spending our last few moments of our 5 day stay at this wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Lisbon. Perfectly located near many attractions, this 5 star hotel is a cut above in terms of service and hospitality. We’ve stayed at many big name hotels and we have never received such attentive service. The hotel offers an array of services including a wonderful breakfast, little snacks, drinks and water in your room, turn down service and let’s not forget the all you can eat cream! The hotel is also impeccably clean. They also offer 20 mins included massage at the spa for all guests. Miguel, at guest services, was cordial and so helpful. He also provided 2 fantastic walking tour, which was greatly appreciated. M. Alfonso at front desk was also very helpful and provided great info to help us navigate the city. All the staff was cordial, helpful and friendly! This is the only place to stay in Lisbon! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My husband and I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful. The lobby is so charming!! The restaurant had great food and amazing cocktails! Also, the hotel is in a prime location, within walking distance to a lot of wonderful restaurants, bakeries, bars, shopping and attractions. We highly recommend Corpo Santo and will definitely stay there the next time we return to Lisbon!

Location, cleanliness and especially staff were excellent. Spent the last two nights of our Europe vacation here and it was certainly a highlight. Breakfast in the restaurant was fantastic. Be sure to take advantage of the walking tours. Our guide had great local information, covered a lot of sites at an unhurried pace. A beautiful, friendly hotel in a beautiful, friendly town...

This hotel absolutely exceeded our expectations and made us feel special. The staff was incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful upon arrival. The room was great and comfortable and quiet at night. Not to mention the shower which had different lighting and music options which was such a cool surprise! Also enjoyed the bathroom products. The complimentary mini bar, massage, robes, and breakfast were all nice touches. And the breakfast is delicious! In addition, the location was perfect and close to numerous delicious restaurants and attractions. So glad we chose this hotel for our first stay in Lisbon.

Superb hotel in the center of Lisbon Corpo Santo Hotel is just the perfect place to stay in Lisbon. It is very well situated and therefore everything can be done by foot. The staff is kind, polite and professional. The room is clean and spacious compared to other hotels im the area. There are so many complementary things offered like 20 minutes massage, midnight snacks, every drinks in the room’s mini bar… We ordered room service; the food was good and came pretty fast. My favorite part was that underneath the restaurant, they kept all the ruins that they found - such a great preservation. Bonus; you can see that they are making efforts to be sustainable with for example room keys in wood… I can only recommend this hotel. I will be back each time I will visit Lisbon (and cannot wait for the opening of their hotel in Porto!)

What an amazing hotel, perfect location, exceptional caring staff, great cocktails, and amazing breakfasts. Free icecream, midnight snacks, walking tours and 20 minute massage! All free - make sure you extend your massage to 1 hour it’s the best massage we have ever had. This hotel will be top of our list when next in Lisbon. Great job everyone xx

Four stars for the hotel and the fifth star is for Nuno, the Guest Services Manager. I have never seen anyone work so hard to ensure every guest has a positive experience. The hotel is lovely, the rooms are nice and clean. But it’s the extras that make this hotel stand out. The complementary welcome massage, the free walking tours, and happy hour activities.

The Corpo Santo Lisbon Historical Hotel enveloped my family in a part of history pampered by the staff and remarkable amenities. We stayed at this hotel for four nights, which is centrally located. The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to ensure we had a top notch experience. The complimentary wine tastings were outstanding and the snacks available throughout the day were a real hit. We thoroughly enjoyed the spa and the many amenities this hotel had to offer; the historical museum at this hotel is definitely worth exploring. The breakfast was a true five-star delight having some of the best pancakes we have ever eaten. The drink menu was deliciously extensive (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). We highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed for five nights, four at the start of the trip and one night at the end. What made this hotel special is the service. The staff were friendly, nice, and attentive. We especially enjoyed the walking tours. There are two a day and we did both. Our guide was knowledgeable and showed us Lisbon in a way we would not have seen it. The tours were wonderful. The hotel also had the best breakfasts we had in Portugal, hands down. The food was delicious and on the last night the hotel held a party and honestly that was some of the best food we had on our trip. Location is perfect. It's right by the Tagus River and the train station and ferry terminal in the heart of the old town and within walking distance, or Byrd distance, to everything. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed. Every evening they do tastings in the lobby (but I'd move those to the restaurant to increase foot traffic to the restaurant and perhaps get people to stay for dinner) and they have an Ice Cream Emergency station in the lobby for anyone who needs a self-service fix at anytime. We will be back.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in to date. From the room to the staff, it was all so perfect. The added little treats in the room, in the the lobby made the stay even more enjoyable. The staff were all so friendly and so helpful. The restaurant staff were excellent. The wine/snacks at 6pm was an added bonus. We didn't get the chance to avail of the free massage as we had so much on our itinerary. I will gladly be back to stay here. Thank you for making our first trip in almost 2 years so amazing!

  • 5/5 Michelle Y. 2 years ago on Google
The hotel has great location and a lot of perks. Free ice cream, free mini bar, free late night cheese and salami and soup. Unlimited free water which is rare in Europe. The breakfast included was also amazing! Everyone is so friendly. Room is brand new. They also offer free 20 min massage but spots are limited. And they offer two day tours at 10:30 and 4 everyday as complimentary gift. Nothing to complain about at all.

My husband and I decided to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary with a trip to Lisbon. After looking at a few options on line I ended up choosing Corpo Santo, and I'm glad I did! Our stay was excellent! We stayed for 5 days. The staff were all very pleasant and accommodating. The included breakfast was so good! The room and bathroom were very clean. There was turn down service and a snack was left in the room every evening. Our package also included a free 20 min massage at the spa located in the lobby, although we never got a chance to use it because we were sight seeing most of the time, I thought it was a great addition to a hotel stay! The hotel is also centrally located in the city so most of the sites were either walking distance or a quick bike ride/Uber ride away. Everything about our stay was perfect! Would definitely recommend!

We stayed the whole week in Corpo Santo hotel. Except the facts that breakfast was delicious, the lobby has 24/7 yogurt, drinks and other refreshments, and the room was super clean and sterilized- the service was PERFECT! Each of the team members was happy and willing to help us, they remembered we are eating gluten free so they served us special things, and even while booking us places for a restaurant, they remembered to tell them! The team adheres to the Covid's guidelines, sets the table using gloves, uses mask the whole time, and the cleaning lady uses also a hat, ext. But above all, you decently could feel the smile behind that mask. Bottom line - if you want a perfect vacation in Lisbon, that’s the place! :)

This place is exceptional: we felt at home right away. Beyond the well appointed rooms, the bountiful breakfast and the added goodies (like a complementary 20 minute massage) the real draw here is the staff. To a person they were wonderfully welcoming and friendly, offering suggestions, help, keeping us hydrated and feeling very much comfortable even amid the ongoing health situation. Can’t wait to return and spend more time here. Also note: a great location, a tiny but well stocked workout space, great toiletries, and a little subterranean historical lounge

A fantastic hotel. Amazing location walking distance to everywhere. The staff were fantastic and nothing was too much for them. Fantastic free treats in reception, complimentary mini bar in the room, a great breakfast, good cocktails. A brilliant and informative free walking tour is also available. Even little touches like free hair straighteners in the room and a lovely plate of cheese left in the evening. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon.

Stayed in a superior double room and it was fantastic. Everywhere was extremely clean and location was great for getting around Lisbon on foot and also had very good access to public transport. Bathroom was brilliant. Bed was very comfortable. It was my partner's birthday and the staff really went above and beyond to make it special. The attention to detail was brilliant. We will be back!

Wonderful experiences, plural. Excellent staff, helpful, warm. Everything was excellent. Very hot, controllable sauna, top massage, 20 minutes complimentary. Buffet included at the lobby and ice cream! One highlight is the fantastic walking tours. Pedro introduces some hidden gems of the city. Not to be missed. He is knowledgeable and charismatic in his delivery and made my visit to Lisbon memorable. Thank you Pedro Located next to the magical Pink street Looking forward to return Don’t hesitate, book a stay at Corpo Santo

First visit to Lisbon , chose this hotel based on location , room size and cost.. Excellent staff . Our hotel ambassador was Pedro and he is the best. Anything you need he is on it . The entire staff is cheerful, accommodating and the hotel offers many amenities. Having a specific hotel representative such as Pedro to answer questions and take care of anything that is needed as well as getting one familiar with area , where to go for specific things was special. I have been an international event planner for 18 years and this was a great experience. May 2022 Karen Spratt, Innovative Design & Events, Charlotte, NC/Melbourne, Fl USA

The perfect hotel in Lisbon! Best location, near the seaside, close to attractions, many F&B options, close to bus, tram, metro and ferries. One of the most customer focused hotels I have ever experienced. Staff are all professionals. Many amenities including evening drink/cocktail, morning coffee, midnight snacks, free bottled water, snack packs, and amazingly a soft serve ice cream machine in the lobby. Free walking tours of Lisbon twice a day. Breakfast is fantastic includes both continental and cooked. Rooms are well appointed and luxurious. This is the go to hotel for visits to Lisbon.

Corpo Santo Lisbon Historical Hotel is easily the best hotel that I have stayed at in my entire life! The location is perfect too. I visited about a year ago (summer 2021). The staff and service are phenomenal and the experience was truly out of this world! I would like to especially thank Nuno and Pedro from the front staff and Christopher from the restaurant. Christopher was kind enough to put together a beautiful birthday breakfast for my mom (a complete surprise, by the way!). The whole experience was unforgettable. I was impressed by the service and will definitely revisit Corpo Santo in the future. Thank you to the whole Corpo Santo team for the phenomenal experience!

Great location, the management and staff were amazing. Rooms were really clean, complimentary mini bar, spa, great restaurant on premises, and we took the complimentary walking tour with Miguel. He is extremely knowledgable of the area and the historical features of the hotel. He gave us a great overview of the area and which was very helpful for us on our short stay in Portugal. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at Corpo Santo in Lisbon while traveling Portugal for our honeymoon. The location and services offered by hotel were truly fantastic! We also cannot speak highly enough at how helpful and friendly every staff member was. We thoroughly enjoyed the bar/restaurant in the hotel, the food and drinks offered in the lobby in the evenings, and also the spa services that came with our stay. Both our massage therapists, Annabella and Filipa, were terrific as well. They were kind and professional, like the rest of the staff that helped make our stay so enjoyable. Highly recommend Corpo Santo if you are visiting Lisbon!

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Lisbon We have just enjoyed a wonderful break at this hotel. It is in a great location just a few minutes walk to Commerce Square - the staff are all super friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in with Bruno, Victoria as the manager and Miguel who took us on a very informative walking tour. We also enjoyed a fabulous massage with Annabella and her team. The room was very clean and the amount of food and special treats was unlike anything we've ever experienced before.
