I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Epic Sana Marques in Lisbon, Portugal, and to say the experience was exceptional would be an understatement. From the moment I walked through the grand entrance, I was met with an unparalleled level of service that set the tone for my entire stay. The hotel itself is a blend of modern luxury and timeless elegance, complete with state-of-the-art amenities that left no stone unturned. Each room was impeccably designed, offering a tranquil sanctuary that perfectly complimented the bustling city outside. As for the spa, it was nothing short of a rejuvenating oasis. The array of treatments available catered to every whim and need, all executed by highly skilled therapists. The calming atmosphere, infused with subtle scents and gentle music, instantly put me in a state of deep relaxation. The gym was another highlight, equipped with top-of-the-line fitness gear that would satisfy even the most discerning gym-goer. Whether you're a casual exerciser or a fitness enthusiast, the Epic Sana Marques has something for everyone. But the crown jewel of my experience was undoubtedly the breakfast. The spread was lavish, featuring a variety of high-quality local and international dishes. Each morsel was prepared with the utmost care, making it a culinary journey in its own right. What truly sets the Epic Sana Marques apart, however, is the staff. Every team member went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of extraordinary. Their attention to detail, warm hospitality, and genuine care turned an already exceptional experience into something truly unforgettable. In summary, my stay at the Epic Sana Marques was an unequivocal joy, far surpassing any expectations I may have had. From the spa to the gym, from breakfast to the superlative service, this hotel has set a new standard for luxury accommodations in Lisbon. I can't recommend it highly enough.

I come with the company group so may not be fair to judge as they may not be too experience to handle such a big group of people at the same time. From my experience, the housekeeping service is really poor. Every day they miss something so I need to call to service desk for it. Even with the no disturb sign on, they still knocked on my door because the cleaning lady suspected she left her glasses in my room. I asked for blanket twice, they brought me blanket cover instead of blanket. At the end, after a couple days trying, finally they managed to bring me a blanket. But then the next day, after room cleaning, they took it away. I can only say, the staff here is not very experienced. Hope they can do better soon. And the room wall is really thin. I need to put on ear plugs at night because I can hear the tv from next room. The TV screen and sound quality from the system is great, but the light reflection is killing me.

Certainly! Here's an updated version of the review that includes your requested addition: EPIC SANA Marques is an extraordinary hotel that exceeded all my expectations on every level. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality from the staff, who went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms at EPIC SANA Marquês are simply stunning, with exceptional decor and luxurious amenities such as comfortable beds, high-quality linens, and well-appointed bathrooms. I particularly enjoyed the breathtaking views of the city from my room, which added to the overall experience of staying at the hotel. The services provided by the hotel were also outstanding. From the delectable breakfast buffet to the excellent room service, everything was of the highest quality and surpassed my expectations. The fitness center and spa were also top-notch, providing a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. In addition, the bar in the lobby was lively and had a very calm feeling with live music. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of exploring the city, and the talented musicians helped to create a truly magical atmosphere. Overall, I would highly recommend EPIC SANA Marquês to anyone looking for a lavish and comfortable stay in Lisbon. The hotel's remarkable rooms, services, amenities, and lively yet serene lobby bar make it a standout choice for travelers seeking a truly unforgettable experience.

I typically stay away from nicer hotels. At a certain level the amenities and service are not worth the added cost. 3 star hotels are usually my speed. This hotel changed my mind. The staff, amenities, food, rooms, and location were wonderful. I stayed on the side where I could see the water and downtown. That was a nice view each morning. Ask if you can stay on the downtown side.

Had a friend's 40th in Lisbon a couple weeks ago, Epic Sana Marques stood out when comparing hotels for its luxury and modern design. We were impressed from start to finish, nice entrance with a good bar, room was as good as we had hoped. Enjoyed the spa area and service from start to finish with the help of the concierge was ideal. Good hotel and a fair price for the quality you have during your stay.

A real luxury leaving away from home. The best breakfast buffet ever with so many varieties to choose from. Extremely friendly staff. Very high tech hotel with all the amenities that one can expect. You sure will have your money's worth. Excellent and clean rooms and service. Great location and restaurants. I love the roof top pool and view of the city. One thing, the pool shoul me equally be maintained and clean just as the rooms. Pool side shower should be provided.

My stay at Epic SANA was wonderful, despite being only 24 hours. It's one of my favorite hotels, conveniently located just 15 minutes from the airport. Taking a cab from the airport proves to be easier and more cost-efficient than pre-booking. The fare was approximately 10 euros. The hotel exudes a calming and relaxing atmosphere, with fantastic amenities and practical yet impressive decor. It's certainly a highly recommended hotel, with spacious surroundings. While we didn't dine at the Italian restaurant, we enjoyed drinks at the bar, where the DJ provided fantastic entertainment. The lobby bar offered reasonably priced drinks and delicious cocktails. Beatriz at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and kind. She demonstrated excellent knowledge of her customers and went out of her way to accommodate us, granting a late check-out for which we were grateful. Her communication skills and dedication to her role were evident – thank you, Beatriz! The hotel's proximity to the city center makes it easily accessible, with a 30-40 minute walk offering delightful scenery and quaint streets to explore. Breakfast, included in our stay, was excellent, featuring a vast selection of fresh bakery items, food, and fruits. It provided a great start to the day. Although we didn't have time for a treatment, the spa was a relaxing and clean space, and we were grateful to be able to use the facilities for free. Overall, the staff were attentive, making it a place worth considering for anyone visiting Lisbon and seeking a comfortable stay.

Stayed here for 5 days. The hotel itself is tastefully appointed and centrally located. Service and amenities are impeccable! Gym and pool are open 24/7 and they have a wonderful sauna. Great value for money if you’re looking for a luxury boutique hotel.

Cosy and elegant room (junior suite). In the rooftop you can find a charming view of Lisbon. Nice food and the spa is amazing. To fully enjoy this hotel and its services, i suggest visiting it in periods with low tourist flows

Great location. Very close to the financial district and the airport. Easy access to the motorway for Cascais and Sintra. Great roof top pool, though it can quite crowded. Very good room service. Great breakfast and with that excellent staff at breakfast. My only gripe is that no business centre (reception will print for you) and reception itself is under staffed (however they are very good). Overall a very good hotel, fairly priced and convenient.

Wonder experience the staff were so accomodating. The hotel is impeccably clean. Rooms had everything one would need and more. The Italian restaurant was out of this world. There's also a spa, a gym, and a rooftop pool. The hotel is in a fantastic location 📍 I don't think you'll be disappointed if you stay here.

Centrally located modern hotel w/many amenities that will have you not wanting to leave hotel during stay. From the roof top pool w/bar (pricey and need training on making drinks) to complimentary breakfast in restaurant, to spa services (wish I'd discovered them earlier in my stay) to comfort of lobby and great service from concierge! Also felt safe as room key required for elevator usage. Lastly, the room was perfect. Shared space w/travel buddy and space accommodated us comfortably and very much grateful for city and ocean views.

This hotel is situated on a busy road but don't let that put you off. It's an easy walk to the main shopping area and the service is fab. The quality of fixtures and fittings at every level and the interior design have been well considered. The resulting effect is a pleasant milieu. The rooms are really lovely, the beds are super comfy with crispy linens. There is a see-through shower wall which becomes opaque on the press of a button located near the sink-this is not obvious until you press all the buttons but it's cool when you figure it out. Breakfast is epic and the service there is sharp which contrasts with the terrible UK. A restaurant we enjoyed nearby, Anti Dantas, is a short walk and a total find. The only occasion we ate hotel food was in the rooftop terrace which was tasty although they did forget our order-this was righted with a decent apology and free drink so cannot complain too much. The rooftop pool area is great, music, quality sunloungers, good views and the pool is a reasonable size. We had a great stay and proper relax.

Amazing hotel. SPA is small but well maintained, massages are out of this world, really high quality with all the small details in mind. Rooms are cleaned twice a day, and the staff is really nice. Breakfast is pretty standard but serves all the regular continental dishes.

I've stayed for a week on a business trip, and it was a mostly pleasant stay. There is decent food, there was live music at the Bar in the evenings and the service was friendly and very helpful. However I have to note that the hotel is made for people smaller than myself, the beds are a bit short, the toilette is as close to the ground as the bidet, the sink is so low that on first look I thought I had a room for children , chairs and table on the room are quite low too.

Great hotel great location. We stayed in a suite and frankly the room was really nice with beautiful city views. The roof top bar is EPIC no pun intended but absolutely beautiful. The Italian restaurant in the lobby is exceptional. The food was amazing the quality is exceptional. The service was ok not great but we had a new waiter so we gave him some slack. Overall the service the lobby the bar and the hotel was great and I highly recommend this property

Stayed here for a business conference for 2 weeks. Had breakfast in the Garden restaurant almost all days. Loved it! Rooms are OK. Shower area is quite small. No major complaints. Service was always good.

I am a little late writing this review. We were at this awesome hotel in Feb, 2023 for 4 days. I cannot say enough about this being the BEST hotel we have ever stayed at. The location is great. The service & breakfast was the best!!! Overlooks the whole city for a great view. We paid a little more for this hotel and could have easily booked less expensive ones but after reading so many positive/negative mixed reviews, I came across this hotel which had nothing by all positive and I can see why. We will be back!

We stayed at this hotel for four nights at the beginning of this month and had a great time. We especially enjoyed the sky pool and the downstairs spa / gym area. The only minor negative thing I can say is that it felt a bit like a cruise ship - it is a large hotel, with many guests, and while for the most part you didn’t notice it so much, on our last morning there was a large number of people at breakfast and we were somewhat overwhelmed by the crowd / noise. I suppose that is expected since they also have the space to host conferences / events themselves, but it took us slightly by surprise because we’d been staying in slightly smaller hotels on this trip. The room was super cool, with a TV hidden behind a large mirror and so many (light) switches that we had a hard time figuring out how to turn everything off at night without activating the blackout blinds. On that note, there were plenty of outlets and USB chargers throughout the room, and the staff provided bottles of water throughout our stay.

We stayed in the Epic Sana Marques last weekend. The staff at reception were very helpful and amazing. We booked dinner one of the nights in their restaurant, the food was decent but they tried to get us to pay twice for the dinner. After they took the first card payment they left the receipt on the table and when a different person came back they asked for payment again. I explained we had paid already but they didn’t believe me. I had to prove that I paid for it by taking the receipt out of my pocket. Once I proved it they didn’t apologise and were very rude. It made it very awkward when it didn’t need to be. Then very shortly afterwards we basically got pushed out of the restaurant very fast so the table could be used for somebody else. Not a pleasant experience. They offer a free Spa which we tried to attend. You cannot book into the Spa and are told to show up when suits. We arrived and were let in but there was no towels or lounges. We asked them for a towel so we could get in the pool but they didn’t give any, they just said you can put your items on the floor and work away. The Spa staff were very not very helpful and didn’t try to accommodate us. Again very strange for a hotel that is of a high standard and has very good staff at reception and the bar. I’d avoid the restaurant and Spa but the hotel itself and bar is very good.

Good place to stay in. Clean rooms. Comfortable bed for me. Not hard not soft. Just as I prefer. Absolutely superb service and really helpful staff. Breakfasts offer varied food. From vegetarian to meat lovers. I suggest you make coffee from the coffee machine not from the pot, which is offered by the staff. In the lobby you can have a glass of fruit water, which perfectly refreshes you when hot outside.

Everything was perfect. Only the gym is a bit small but I can understand that they might not have another place to put it. Great service, and nice breakfast.

Great location, excellent service, anatomic mattress, big spacious rooms, great variety in the breakfast and delicious options . Polite and friendly staff. What else can you ask for? Recommend it without any second thought.

Nice modern hotel. Great room, friendly helpful staff. Possibly one of the best breakfasts you could hope to encounter in a hotel. Only negative was lounge drink prices which are intended for those living on generous expense accounts.

Staying at the EPIC SANA Marquês Hotel has been a wonderful experience for my partner and myself. All the staff across the hotel have been absolutely amazing and have provided a service above and beyond anything we have experienced before. They have been very welcoming and accommodating at all times. The facilities in the Hotel from the gym to the spa are well designed, modern and very clean. The restaurants were very nice, with good spacing between tables and with a great selection of good food on offer. I would sum up our stay at the Epic Sana Marques hotel in four word.......A Truly EPIC Experience. Maurice

We had an amazing experience here! The service was elite - we were constantly impressed. The restaurant, Allora, was delicious, and the concierge gave us recommendations for other restaurants as well. The breakfast was far superior to any “included” breakfast that I have experienced. The spa was beautiful and everything was spotless. We recommend the suites facing the river - a beautiful view of the city, and very quiet. 5/5 stars, no hesitation.

Stunning location. Everything was pristine. Paolo was our guest experience coordinator and I couldn’t sing his praises more. He was a consummate professional who went above and beyond with his incredible knowledge and demeanour to make our stay epic indeed. Forever grateful. Amazing hotel, but Paolo made it next level.

LOVE THIS HOTEL!! Usually we choose boutique hotels but wanted to try something new on the tail end of our trip. In short, it is stunning. The rooftop pool was WAY too crowded so we stuck to the indoor pool that had an attached sauna and steam room. Gym is nice and big. Breakfast is incredible. Some of the guests were a little judgy but whatever. Rooms are a bit small but everything else made up for it. Would definitely stay again. Pics are of the breakfast area/lower level dining room.

The best hotel in Lisbon. All staff members friendly and helpful. One of the best breakfasts I've ever eaten at a hotel. Clean, spacious rooms. Awesome rooftop pool. Great location right next to the metro and bus station. Highly recommend.
