Extremely poor quality. Not 4 stars experience. Not worth staying here. Room was dirty with dust and someone’s nails on the floor. The room needed renovation long time ago. Everything is old, poor quality, extremely bad. There was mold in the bathroom. It seemed the hotel wants maximum profitability without investing in the property and guests’ experiences. Breakfast was ok. Juices were extra diluted with water. When we arrived for breakfast the scrambled eggs were already out of stock, as well as some other products. The personnel refiiled out of stock food very slowly. I didn't like the location. It is far from tourist attractions and center. The location might be ok only if you have a car or use taxi.

Good hotel with very friendly staff! The breakfast buffet was very good with a good variety of fruit, cereals, toast, yoghurt, cheese, meats, and your classic eggs and bacon. The pool is both indoors and outdoors (the ceiling covering can be removed) and was very pleasant and clean. The location is a little further from the town centre (about 20/25min on the metro) but there is a station only a 5 min walk away so it was very manageable.

I booked the Lisbon Mercure Hotel for 4 days in November. I expected 4 star hotel facilities similar to other 4 star hotels I stayed in, however this hotel was incredibly run down, they don’t offer toiletries, there was an old 22inch TV (smaller than my work monitor), no sockets near the bed, no heating in November, the bathroom tiles were coming out and there was dump on the ceiling both in the bathroom and the bedroom. I don’t recommend staying at this hotel.

When you look at their pictures on accrohotels, you think you will have a decent room. However, you will find those horrible facilities. We did ask for a renovated room as on the pictures but the staff told us the pictures were taken 20 years ago. If we move to another room, the condition is probably same. So be aware of it! If we knew it, we would never book this hotel and spend money on a outdated "4 stars hotel".

By far the worst Accor group hotel I have stayed in, I have stayed in better Ibis hotels. We are Accor Gold members and were not even properly acknowledged on arrival (apart from being given Privilege rooms; it would be interesting to see the normal rooms because these were not acceptable at all!) The rooms was smelly, dirty, dusty and mould everywhere in the bathroom. We asked to change rooms but were told the the hotel was full ( it didn't appear to be very busy!) I was challenged aggressively by a female receptionist when I complained about the dirty bath (mould etc needs regrouting but this was dirt that needed Jif - I started to scrub it with a flannel and it came off with pressure -!) Air conditioning not woking properly (told to keep curtains closed actually good advice as view awful - old run down building - constant barking dog and homeless sleeping in tents) We complained on several occasions to no avail. Breakfast terrible Pool area small and again needs complete renovation. Location bad too - at least 8 mins walk to metro (but then fairy quick 5 stops to where you want to be in the city) Only positive - lovely bar staff in the evening Nothing else good to say- awful hotel

Good clean hotel, location is not central yet very close to the station. Only recommendation would be to avoid rooms with connecting doors as they are not sound proof at all! It was as if our neighbouring room occupants were with us in ours

Advertised as a 4* hotel but I rate it as a good 3*. Stayed in a “Privilage” room which has slightly more space than a standard room. Facilities are fine, shower pressure isn’t great and aircon barely works. Beware that you need a key card to activate the electrics in the room which isn’t by the door so when it’s dark it’s harder to find. It also switches everything off as soon as you take your card out with no delay. During my stay the electricity kept tripping off, several times a day which is annoying. The guy running the bar is a very nice and helpful chap, the restaurant, however, is definitely not good, in fact it’s really quite bad. Expensive, lack of choice and really basic… avoid it unless you have no other choice. If you have a car, beware the car park is VERY narrow so you have to be careful navigating in and out of there.

Make sure to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a place. This web site will compare thousands of booking websites and typically will have prices much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of my favorites in this area. I've been coming here for years. If you choose this place you definitely will love it I'm sure! Nice room of a good size with a comfortable bed. Fridge in room had plenty of space for own drinks, and breakfast was very good. Swimming pool nice and warm and very quiet. Hotel less than 3 minute walk to the Metro station, and train station towards Sintra. All staff very friendly. Absolutely no complaints.

Service very good most of the time, food tasty, pool great but in night time its super noise like 120 dB very bad minimal „techno“ - vibrating your chairs..extremly trash techno - playing in front of the hotel from a bar . if they dont want to do somthing about it I never come back. I need sleep in a vacation/business hotel. The Metro is super near by the hotel.

This is difficult to qualify. The rooms were small and a little shabby, lacking certain modern amenities. The lobby, etc. much the same. On the other hand, it has everything we actually needed, the location was good and the staff was wonderful. So was breakfast. We'd go back without hesitation.

Couldn't be happier with our room and the hotel itself. Staff are professional and friendly. I was initially worried about the location but it's actually pretty convinient getting around. That the swimming pool is still open in winter was a nice surprise.

My stay was plagued by the power circuit breakers triggering every few hours. This slammed the fire doors outside my room every time and turned the WiFi off. I would have appreciated an apology or even an acknowledgement there was a problem, but received neither even though I mentioned it at checkout.

Great location, but nothing special in terms of comfort. Really odd location for the power switches have me feeling the wall in darkness to find the place to slide the key card into. No power plugs anywhere near the bed is ridiculous. Not sure if the AC works, I woke up covered in sweat.

Location quit good as it is near the metro. Service is quite good but the food is really bad for a four star hotel. Rooms walls are broken and trust me for the price of it, it should be much more better. Not recommended.

We were staying on business, our company booked the hotel room for us, we did the online check in, provided documents etc and received confirmation that we can turn up, collect the room card and go to our rooms. The assistant manager insisted she needed to see the physical card the room was booked on. Or that we would have to pay again for the room and she would refund the original card. We pleaded. We practically begged. It was extremely embarrasing. She said this was for fraud prevention. Considering the company AMEX was used, and the transaction was verified by them, and cleared, and accepted. What difference would her seeing the card make? AmEx have far greater security controls and they were satisfied that this transaction was not fraudulent. The business have taken the decision to remove all Accor hotels from the approved hotels list for any travel. Considering there are 20 entities in the group, and we fly all over the EU and Middle East, this would be a loss to you, but a gain to another hotel group. The rooms pictures are deceiving - the windows are tiny! It is all wall behind the curtains.

Breakfast experience ——————————— I wasn’t staying in the Hotel but I was having the breakfast buffet waiting for my Bus to Porto. As a big traveler I don’t expect an exceptional moment at a big chain Hotel Breakfast Buffet. All the bigger my surprise when I started to taste the fresh fruit, homemade fresh fruit juices and; the impossible; gluten free super tasty pancakes with various lactose free toppings !!! 🥰 (besides all the other gluten free and lactose free options which are more usual). And a special mention for Rodrigo, the employee working in the restaurant that day (and who merits a definite promotion to management) whose kindness and superbe personal service was making my day start with a big smile. Thumbs up 👍

Nice hotel. Rooftop pool is very good. Good food also. The ham and cheese toasties are great. Our room was a bit run down and there are a limited amount of services but overall good value

This hotel is definitely not 4 stars or worth the money. The rooms are extremely old. My bedsheets had holes, the safe was not working and the mini fridge was inside a cupboard that was jammed stuck inside. They don’t give you any toiletries besides soap and a ‘shampoo and body wash in 1’. This is unacceptable for any human hygiene standards. Every night my card would stop working and I would have to get it removed and the staff were nonchalant. The only good things are it’s location and it’s super friendly kind breakfast serving staff members.

  • 3/5 Mariana B. 9 months ago on Google
The location is great as so close to the metro, but the rooms are not a 4 star hotel, they don’t have plugs next to the bed and when you ask they say they can lend you an extension. Not good at all! The hotel looks old and they don’t give you toiletries. Just hand wash and a 2 in 1 shampoo and body wash. I’ve been to better 4 star hotels. And for the price they should do better. The breakfast was not spectacular but ok and the guy welcoming us every morning was so so nice! Always smiling! Would not recommend.

Smart and clean hotel, rooms were comfortable and well maintained. Public areas are similarly well looked after. Air conditioning was not working, so room was warm at night in April. Breakfast has a good selection of hot and cold food. Only 15 mins taxi from airport. Not many places around the hotel, so plan for taxi/Uber into the more interesting parts of Lisbon. 24 hour reception, lots of TV channels (including German, French and English). Good free Wi-Fi. Recommended.

Although a bit dated, a great hotel in Lisbon, close to Praca de Espanha and Jardim Zoologico metro stations, and also the Sete Rios station. Very friendly and helpful staff that deserves all the praise. Clean and functional rooms with good amenities. Good value for money.

The hotel requires a major update, de-molding and cleaning. The bedding was fresh but the room was not hovered before. Shower never stays up. The corridors are very noisy at night, you can hear water running like if someone was having a shower in your bathroom. My response to the hotel: thanks but does not seem like you do anything to improve the quality of the rooms. I see poor comments from a year ago and mine is just adding to it. It is a shame.

Very old hotel. It said to be 4 starts, but honestly everything felt like cheap and mow quaility-ish. Its a business hotel and no more. If you have an option wouldn't reccomend it

The worst hotel ever! Two night in a row I had party in front of my hotel windows and hotel couldn’t give me double room on the other side of the building! What’s more room service come into the room without knocking! Rooms are in horrible standard, with old scratched furnitures and rusty elements in bathroom also the cleanliness of the rooms leaves much to be desired! It’s absolutely not a 4* hotel!

Nice stay at this hotel despite he isn't not well positionned regarding the city center but only 10 minutes from airport. Not a large choice of restaurants in the neighborhoods (mainly chinese restaurants). Rooms are clean and confortable. Last, I though the pandemic situation is well managed but means the swimming pool is obviously not open!

Our flight to lisbon got delayed but the hotel was kind enough to hold the reservation for us. Close to the bus and metro station Sete Rios. Service personnel were helpful. Complimentary breakfast had good variety. We were not able to try the facilities as we went on to tour Portugal after a good night's sleep. There is a nearby LIDL at the station if you need anything.

Construction sound at 3 am, super loud. When the bath tub pipe malfunctions (clogged, water flooding up while showering), they claim that "the thing works perfectly fine" while it clearly isn't. We reported it again and the first thing they do is blame it on the customer, asking why we took out the plug and that it would work fine otherwise. However, it still malfunctions no matter what. They didn't try to give us another room, and said that the person who's in charge of this had gone back home and basically told us that they can't do anything about it. No apologies, no compensation, no room change. The staff member didn't even TRY to resolve the issue. The receptionist was annoyed and super rude. The attitude is definitely NOT what a 4-star hotel should have. Our stay here was a huge disappointment. Any airbnb would be a wayyyyy better choice.

This hotel is between a 4 and 5. It has less sexy entrance then some places but the staff was incredibly helpful& kind. Called cabs for us, gave directions to local mall and breakfast was very good again with friendly staff who spoke English. Room was roomy

Second time I stay at this hotel in 2 years, previous one was in 2019. Can't say it improved much, rather gave the impression it's getting older and older. The rooms are clean, good size. Bathroom is ok, bathtub a bit small for me. The room was very hot, sun was on the window all day. There does not seem to be individual AC in the rooms and apparently in november they change the central AC system from cooling to heating because it's "cold" outside (22 degrees Celcius!). So even if you put it on 18 degrees, it will still warm up your room. Luckily you can open a window in the room. Breakfast is ok but nothing more than that. Please put the jar with the orange juice a little higher, the glasses don't fit underneath and it's messy. Same problem in 2019... Didn't check out the swimming pool. Remark: I have Accor All gold status. The hotel did not honour my gold status because I booked through a travel agency and not directly with Accor. No welcome drink, no room upgrade and no points credited to my account for this stay. Would I stay again? I might look elsewhere next time.

Good location, reasonably comfortable as well. Male Receptionist was not very welcoming. Hospitality needs improvement.

Great stay at this hotel : short walking distance to the metro (5-8 min) that takes you to the center in about 20 min. You are not directly under the landing strip which means you do not hear the planes landing :) Although be aware there is a bar right beneath that can be a bit noisy in the evening (music playing until roughly 1AM) The staff is super helpful ordered food at the bar and they provided a tray for me to collect as well as opened the lift + added an extra portion of chips. Check in was super smooth and they gladly gave 2 cards for access! Swimming pool is great not too busy in June but might get crowded in high season. Towels are provided at the reception upon asking. The room was very spacious with free water bottle and soaps. Overall a fantastic stay for work would absolutely recommend :)

45 minutes for checking in since they did not found the booking made by the travel agency.... Same for check out, lasted long minutes since was impossible to get two invoices for the two payments I made despite clear instructions at check in. Very noisy room because of noises outside, and from other rooms. Breakfast is just fine mainly processed / frozen products, not many fresh. Room price still high considered Lisbon area and services. Impossible to get hot water in the morning in the bathroom. Room service does not have salad or fresh products and goes with a supplement of 4 euro.

Quiet, efficient hotel, 9 floors with a heated pool on the top floor. Front desk was very helpful and polite. Had a Privilege Room on the 5th floor - includes a few extras. Breakfast was 14E and was quite good. Hotel was 5mins walk from Sete Rios train station - walked with our luggage. The Lisbon Zoo was 10mins walk and was a lovely way to spend the afternoon. I would recommend this hotel.

  • 4/5 Judith Cruz G. 1 year ago on Google
Everything alright, spacious room on privileged room and functional layout, i will give 4 star only because the 5th floor i keep waking up due to the door noises made by the housekeeper and its dusty on the furnitures and i am allergic to so much dust and senior receptionists need to be more friendly but the location and parking are great and with clean and reasonably priced buffet just opposite.. its a good hotel stop over in Lisbon.

I got the worse room possible, right next to the elevator. Even though I was eligible for a upgrad, due to my ACCOR Status. They just said nothing available, though online better rooms where available. Next time Lisbon I'll stay with an other Hotel group.

Leaking ceiling in bathroom, worn floors and very basic feel. Hugely disappointed for this hotel and won’t be staying again. Reception staff very friendly

Very nice hotel if you stay on the quiet side. This hotel seems to have rooms which face a noisy expressway and rooms on the more quiet side. If you book a room here, ask for a room facing the back parking lot if you want a quieter room. The staff are very nice, the hotel is clean, the food served to our group was very good. The location is far away from the city centre so you will have to take a taxi or uber to get there.

If I you don’t expect a normal 4 star hotel services here then it’s ok. We chose to stay because at least it’s Accor brand and know what kind of service to expect from an international brand. In bathroom there is only shampoo and shower gel nothing else, no other toiletries. In room, there are 2 glasses of water, only one bottle of water complimentary for 2 people on day 1 only and we stayed for 4 nights (which is not normal) No sockets by the bed. Heating is quite loud. I don’t think this is 4 star hotel standard. I would say Ibis would match this kind of what they offer.
