What
a
beautifully
updated,
yet
historical,
hotel
in
the
heart
of
a
walker
friendly
area
of
Lisbon,
Portugal!
I
visited
Lisbon
in
the
Fall
for
a
business
trip
that
was
hosting
meetings
at
the
hotel.
The
accommodations
were
superb,
and
idealistic
to
European
culture.
The
rooms
are
spacious
and
much
larger
than
a
standard
room
size.
There
is
a
coffee
machine
in
the
room
as
well.
Be
sure
to
pack
adapters
for
outlets
if
you
are
traveling
from
the
US.
Turndown
service
is
done
nightly.
The
amenities
of
the
hotel
were
also
above
my
expectations.
I
did
not
get
to
see
the
spa;
however,
the
fitness
center
was
spacious,
stocked
with
various
equipment
and
there
was
also
an
outdoor
track
and
fitness
area
from
the
roof.
Not
to
mention
the
view
from
the
roof
is
spectacular.
The
meeting
areas
and
large
conference
rooms
were
just
as
lovely.
This
is
a
gorgeous
site
for
any
event.
The
staff
were
accommodating,
friendly
and
helpful
especially
for
travelers.
The
hotel
is
located
in
an
area
that
is
walker
friendly
with
a
main
shopping
area
located
just
about
a
12-15
minute
walk,
and
several
restaurants
in
any
direction.
This
is
a
higher
traffic
area,
so
it
can
be
noisier
in
the
evenings,
but
nothing
too
substantial
especially
if
your
room
is
on
a
higher
floor.
If
my
travels
ever
bring
me
back
to
Lisbon,
I
would
definitely
consider
another
stay
here!
For
the
price
you
pay,
you
are
treated
above
expectations.
