The staff was very nice but that's all said.. The room i slept in (14 people in a badly ventilated basement) just didnt have any air and therefore smelled like an old highschool gymnasium.. I understand the staff gives their best but i felt like a sardine in a can

This is a decent little hostel. The beds are comfortable and each bed in the dorm has its own curtains and outlets. The common area outside is nice, and the kitchen seemed to be stocked pretty well with cooking utensils. The staff is also really friendly. The only problems I had was that there are not lockers in the dorm room, so you have to leave your belongings out in the open, and, also, there are only two bathrooms and 1 shower, so it can be inconvenient to use them if it's a busy time, and the only shower is in a tiny little room which is filthy, everything else was clean though. If you need a cheap place to stay for a few days to explore Lisbon though, I could recommend this place.

I misread hostel as hotel when I booked, but anyway, the hostel was pleasant enough & the staff were very helpful and pleasant. However, our room was like a hot box in the attic (they had provided fans, but they weren't adequate to combat the heat) and so I had the worst night's sleep as I slowly roasted alive.

I stayed there for two days. The location was good and even though the rooms might get pretty hot due to closed environment, they have managed with the fans. Bathroom might get busy sometimes but for the price the hotel is worth staying.

This place is truly a hidden gem. You feel at home instantly. Every is rather tiny but super cosy and the hosts from Bangladesh make you feel home instantly. For a Scotsman like me it can be very frustrating communicating with the locals as they're English is almost not existing or they are too lazy and bored to talk in a foreign language. But then why do you bed bugs even bother with going into the hospitality industry. You won't have that problem of communication here. Instead you will have good conversations with all the staff here as they are all from a nation that has been colognized and civilized by the ancestors of the United Kingdom. In any case, great place. Great location. Nice people. Very good value. In my view, under rated.

Cosy little hostel/hotel. I stayed in a private double room in the attic, sharing bathroom with one more room. Both the room and especially the bathroom is cosy. Downstairs is a common area with some vending machines and kitchen. The only downside was that the room was quite cold, the radiator was off, and only a small electric heater was available.

It was an excellent experience to stay in white house hostel, although it was only for few days but I love the atmosphere, location and their hospitality. If you looking for a shelter in Lisbon with reasonable cost with cozy atmosphere "White house Lisbon Hostel" would be your ideal option. Happy stay🏠

The best hostel I've ever been to and considering that I travel every week to different countries in Europe. The place is small but it is clean and organized. I stayed for 4 nights and during my stay everything was impressively clean. I'll be back there more often when I'm in Lisbon. 05 stars mainly for the service of the staff who make you feel at home.

This was the best 10-15€ per night hostel I have been to i Lisbon. If you are looking for a cheap stay, this I will recomend. Big rooms and they have a kitchen, wich none of the other 5 hostels I have stayed in had.
