Pros: good location, not very far from the old city, Spacious and clean rooms, the breakfast is good, the staff is friendly and for 15 Euro a day you can park in the garage. Cons: The entire building doesn't contain one iron so if your clothes are wrinkly you need to buy an iron. There's no kettle in the room. The walls are somewhat thin.

Attention!!! I’ve got money stolen in my room while staying at this insane hotel . After I said I don’t need cleaning in my room to housekeeping I left outside but when I came back I Beas surprised why they clean my room after I said no need?! Immediately I checked my bag with was open and purse wasn’t in the pocket where I always keep it . I still trying to return my money I left hotel on the very late evening of the day it is happened because of traveling on my own I was scared about being alone in the room because the person who is on reception wasn’t even person who supposed to be there with no idea what to do . I’m not doing to write about cleaning and level of room to be prepared for the guests you may already find about that in comments below

So far so good. Room are big, very clean and tidy. The beds are very comfortable. I didn't like the fact that the walls are too thin and you can hear everything that's going on in the room next to you. It's very easy to reach and close to many restaurants and small supermarkets. It's in a quiet area and very good for price. The receptionist by far is the best and most helpful one I ever dealt with. My reservation was bed and breakfast but breakfast is Continental for everyone. It was good but they need to add more varieties. I may make this hotel my first choice if I visited Lisbon again. I arrived at evening so I couldn't talk about the view but the morning view is amazing ❤️

Basic hotel with clean rooms. Location is good and reception was very welcoming. Nothing really special, might be able to find something a bit nicer for the same rate. No safe in the room.

We stayed at the hotel as a group going to a rugby tournament and may I say that the hotel disappointed us in all ways possible. The rooms are very basic and furniture are old. No kettle to make tea or coffee. No toiletries. The safe box, which was tiny required a key and a deposit for that. The breakfast was ok but the dinner was below standard. Slices of tomatoes, lettuce, carrot and onion. A soup and then meat and rice or potatoes. Not really cooked dishes and nothing to choose for vegetarians. The gentlemen at the reception were polite but the lady there could definitely benefit from a hospitality course. Room keys needs to be programmed all the time as you can’t have them anywhere near your phone. They simple stop working. Pay a bit extra and stay somewhere else.

The room was worn out, and does not reflect the pictures, unfortunately. The breakfast was a JOKE! Portugal is a country that produces fresh fruit, milk products and great pastries, but this hotel had only the most basic breakfast items one can imagine, not worth it at all. On the bright side, location was nice, close to public transport, parks and some supermarkets, too. If you are lucky, one of the nicer receptionists might even smile at you if you need anything… :)

The hotel is nicely centrally located with some good restaurants around, but it can be improved quite a bit. There was a poor selection at the breakfast buffet. There were quite a few insects flying around in the lounge room, a bit unexpected. There was no hairdryer available in the room. Bad service when it looks like the people working there get annoyed by asking questions.

Stayed one night before joining a ship. Pleasant, easy, no fuss, was given dinner even though I arrived very late around 2200. Room large, tidy and well maintained with a recent refurbishment. Pleasant enough continental breakfast. I have stayed in far worse places over my seagoing career 😅

Good location relatively close to public transport, not too far from the city center (only 30 minutes walk) Breakfast is quite good with good choices. The room we had was quite comfortable, bright with a little view, but not good insulation, so we listened to those who were in the rooms next to us and a little noise from the street. It also did not have very good cleanliness.

After seeing the rating of 3.2, I was a bit worried about my stay at this hotel, however, there was no need to worry. Check in was quick and easy and the receptipnist very nice. The lobby had a very nice and interrsting interior. Room was spacious, clean and had everything necessary - a big bed, 2 nightstands and lamps, a small fridge, a big mirror, a small desk and a chair, a wardrobe. Bathroom was also clean with a nice shower, sink, mirror, hair drier, soap and body wash and a toilet. There is also a small safe, enough electrical outlets and a free wifi. The room is dated, yes, it is not the newest and most modern hotel and the bed is not the most comfortable one, but in general there was nothing missing and nothing major to complain about. Breakfast fime is long, so you can make it even if you sleep a bit longer. The items served at breakfast are basic, but tasty and for me more than enough, even if you don't eat meat for example. For vegans it could be tricky. There was - cheese, ham, butter with and without salt, bagels, toast bread and a toaster, 3 different jams, cereal, small croassaints (warm and soft), tomatoes, fruit yohurt, scrambled eggs, coffee, tea, some juices and I'm sure I forgot something. Check out was also quick and easy and there is a room to leave your luggage if your fligh/bus/train is later in the day.

Dieses Hotel war sehr gut. Vom Check in bis Check out.

There's a sewer smell that came from our bathroo room 615. Good thing we were out everyday so weren't dealing with it. The smell goes away after about 30mins with they key in. Reason why i still gave it a 4 is because we werent there to pursue it but we did tell the receptionist. Regardless this shouldnt happen. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly.

This is the worst hotel I've been to. I've asked to provide iron, they don't have at all. Once I arrived In the room no welcome water at all. Only good thing about the staff, when i request water heater the staff immediatelly bring me to the room. Location is very far from the shop or stores.

Excellent hotel, don’t let the bad reviews stop you from booking it. At least my personal experience was great.

Best Stay in Lisbon. The room was spacious and modern furnished, with AC and modern Bathroom. The Location was very good, in a quiet part of the city, central also, we have reached every Location by walking. The nearest Bus Station is 4 minutes away. Breakfast was also variable, we were always full and happy to start the day.

No iron in the hotel, period. Was told to go to dry cleaners. No pool or gym as advertised on site - "those were old pics from 3 years ago...". When arrived, no power in my room, asked a cleaning lady to help - she yelled "Whaaaaat!??". I explained, she walked over, open the breaker box, flipped a switch and looked at me with her arms up like "what more do you want, you happy now??". I couldn't believe the service, the accommodations for that price. Never again.

Nice hotel, reasonably priced on the fringes of the Financial district. Good breakfast.

Nice hotel close to Rato Sq. & metro station. Rooms are spacey and clean with hot water all day. Rooms also have smart TVs but screencast is disabled so I couldn't work from my phone (YouTube is also disabled). Employees are really kind and helpful. Breakfast is OK with mooer than basic things and juicy fresh fruits too. Also very close is "Amoreiras" shopping center.

Today guys from reception helped me with parking. They are super helpful! If the hotel has such cool employees - it's great! Thanks! And the hotel has a good location!

My family and I were traveling from Spain to Portugal and our trip was delayed and we came into Portugal around 11pm. The Amazonia Lisba Hotel was the only Hotel to accommodate us. The staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. The rooms were spacious and clean. The location was perfect for sightseeing on foot or by public transportation. I would recommend staying here to anyone coming into the heart of Lisboa traveling with family especially children.

Nice 3-star hotel with spacy rooms. Breakfast was good. Walking to sights needs time, but give you also the possibility to explore the city. Especially on weekend the hotel was cheaper than others (3 nights including breakfast for 200 Euro for single person).

The room is super big. Very good for a 3 star hotel. However, I reserved a double size bed and they gave me two single beds. I went there to ask and they told me they had no room with a double bed available (but why did I reserved then?) They have laundry. But 20 euros!!!!

Excellent service. Good location, about 25 mins walk from main town. V kind staff let us back into our room after our flight was delayed. Decor a little outdated. No pool at the moment as described sadly. Great views from the roof. Some slight mould in the room as the extractor fan didn't work.

Very, very good three star hotel. Above all my expectations. Breakfast is also better than it is usually in 3star hotels. Fresh fruit, Pastery goods are often warm, since they bake them by themselves. Very clean, rooms keeping is great, on time and with quality. Hotel position is good, app. two kilometers from the very center. Very nice walk.

Very good value hotel. My room was large and very clean. The staff at reception were very professional. One staff member was helpful enough to print my boarding card. It's a bit of a walk into the city centre but the taxis are very reasonable. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would be very happy to return again as Lisbon is such a beautiful city.

This place has seen better days... Our room was clean but very-very basic. The furniture looks ancient, just like the bathroom. WiFi signal is weak, it did not work in the room, only in the corridor/lobby. The staff is friendly and helpful and they speak English. The location is good, the property is in a nice and quiet area. There is a grocery store and a few restaurants close by. The Rato metro station is just a few minutes walk.

The hotel room was very well kept and the AC was functional. Kudos to the awesome cleaners. The reception area had a mix of friendly and rude personnel. The pool was a joke. And the breakfast buffet is not worth it. The food was too bland and sad that you are better off just buying something small outside.

Room large enough and clean, comfortable bed and good breakfast. On the other side, the hotel needs a complete reform. It looks like a time travel to the 70's... The bathroom is not in good condition, albeit clean. They even have cathodic TV set!

Had checked in here back in 2013. Had a not so good experience here. Never met any polite attendants. Didn't see any accommodative personnel. No good food. Not an ideal room. Facility looks very old and cheap.

Nice hotel currently being updated. Very good continental breakfast. Low on amenities. City information would be useful. Chair in room /balcony would add to comfort Bar and lobby seating very good.

The beds are comfortable and the rooms are a reasonable size. The staff are very pleasant but it is very much a tourist hotel which is fine for a one night stay. I was staying there on business and I couldn't recommend it for that. There was nowhere to work in the room and the experience at breakfast on "changeover day" was horrific. There is no restaurant and the swimming pool is a bit of an exaggeration.
