I loved staying at this hotel. It is smallish and stylish but the service has been top notch. It feels as though they really care that you have a great experience here. Rooms are nicely appointed,quiet and very comfortable. I really enjoyed sitting by the pool in the morning, reading a book and having coffee. It’s within walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. I’d definitely return.

We were at this place for three days and enjoyed it thoroughly. Location, view, staff, service was exceptional. We arrived to a very welcoming reception by the front staff. Thank you Rafael for your help as you made it a memorable experience for our family. You were there to guide and help us all the time. We would like to thank the serving staff at the restaurant who especially prepared vegetarian breakfast for us everyday. The evening guided tour offered by the hotel was very informative except the rainy weather I would recommend this place while heartedly to everyone. I must end by thanking everyone especially Rafael. If I do visit Lisbon again, I would not hesitate a bit to stay at Memmo Principe Real Thank you , thank you , thank you Rafael you are the best

We had a wonderful stay at Memmo Principe Real! First and foremost the service was incredibly good, without exception. Frederico, Joao, Monica and Mario were amazing and so carrying. The hotel is a hidden within a very livid district but regardless very quiet. The interior was chosen very carefully and ensembles a tasteful atmosphere. The kitchen prepare lovely dishes. This is absolutely a top 3 Marriott hotel I’ve ever been in. The team here does their best to make sure we are happy, the location is fantastic as walking distance to everywhere with a bonus great view of the city from the terrace and room. The breakfast is delicious and the beds are comfy. We will definitely be back. Thank you team!

Chic Hotel with lots of 🖤 We came for two days but unfortunately I was in a car accident. As I couldnt fly, we stayed on this whole week. The staff are unbelievable helping us with all we needed. It's been an extremely difficult experience but I'd honestly rather have been here than at home dealing with it due to how fantastic they are! We won't ever be staying anywhere else in Lisbon and I can't recommend this place enough. Beautifully designed and effortlessly cool but makes everyone feel welcome.

Amazing hotel. Great staff, very helpful. Lisbon is beautiful. Great views from the hotel but we want to highlight the great staff members there, people like Antonio, Carlos, and Garandini make this special and worth visiting, they’re fantastic personalities and full of enthusiasm and great stories. Absolute gem of a hotel. Fantastically central location that manages to somehow separate itself from the noise and bustle on the street. Small rooms very thoughtfully arranged for maximum functionality. Excellent amenities. Luxurious without being pretentious. Wonderful staff - kind, attentive, reliable, helpful, respectful of people and possessions. So many small details that added up to a terrific stay. Cannot speak highly enough of this hotel.

Me and my partner stayed here in February this year and I can not recommend this place enough! Very clean, great food and amazing drinks! The staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is great - you can more or less walk everywhere. Next time we'll visit Lisbon, we will definitely stay here. Thank you x

Can I just live here permanently? First-it is beautiful with amazing views. Second-the service is amazing-they fit us in for dinner while they had a birthday party in addition to us. The room was not only stocked with alcohol, but also a recipe for port and tonic with a FRESH lime! The food is the best I have had in Portugal and the service is as perfect as Memmo Alfama. This place is an absolute must when in Lisbon!

This is one of the best Marriott properties I’ve stayed at. Even though I was here for one night, the staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay is enjoyable. Every staff I’ve encountered were very courteous and made me feel very welcome. And the room was simply perfect with a balcony overlooking the Lisbon city. I wish I had more time staying here to enjoy everything. Will definitely come back in the future!

Fantastic hotel. I personally love these boutique hotels since they seem less stuffy than hotels like the Yeatman in Porto. I loved that the staff hid chocolates under a hat when they turned over the room for the night. It’s little gestures like this that make the stay memorable. Room was beautifully curated and had everything a hotel can offer. Would highly recommend you stay here!

This is a very lovely hotel with amazing views and services in a very great location. My wife and I enjoyed our stay for our honeymoon and Special thanks to Manuel as he was very helpful. The restaurant is also highly recommended and the food is yummyy! Everything about it was beyond exceptional. Romario and Alexandra made our dinner even more special with their lovely smiles and professional service.

The hotel is a perfect edition to Design Hotels collection. Small size hotel, fabulous views, considered concierge tips and style and exceptionally kind and helpful service. Good and drinks are on par with the great Lisboa reputation. Location is great for sustainable fashion and concepts stores, bars and restaurants and enough tourism meets local to feel like you are in the city. Affordable 5* luxury.

Stayed here recently and have only great things to say about Memmo Principe Real! The views are amazing and the pool is a great feature but more importantly the staff were so kind throughout our whole stay. Many thanks to Thomaz, Ricardo, and João for helping with email and setting up the airport Tesla transfer, and a great thanks to Marta as well for being so accommodating at the hotel. Upon entering, you’re greeted with smiles and a luxurious fragrance throughout the hotel. We loved the fine details with the wood paneling everywhere. Truly a great hotel location with a short walk to everything. Top notch hotel and we will only stay here once we come back to Lisbon!

We stayed here for a few nights and loved it! The location is in a nice area with so much around within walking distance, but the hotel itself is tucked away at the bottom of a slope away from the main streets. The view of Lisbon from the hotel is beautiful! We loved our room which was nicely decorated, comfortable and not too big but spacious enough for us and our baby girl. We even managed to fit the stroller in a corner of the room and still hav enough space. The only very minor complaint I have is the door to the washroom is very hard to open. It kept getting stuck and so we’d try to leave it a little open but that was difficult to as it has a magnet to close. The staff all around were wonderful and went above and beyond to make our stay truly special. I would definitely stay here again!

We spent three full relaxing days in this beautiful location overlooking Lisbon. The staff was doing anything possible in order to make our stay enjoyable. Room was very comfortable and the quality of the breakfast was one of the best we had in recent time. We were feeling so well in Memmo Principe Real!

This is a small(ish) but wonderful hotel with an excellent team of employees, stylish but simple decor. Very well located to be able to get around on food and see the city. Taxis/Ubers may not know how to get into this place, the address drops you off on the Main Street but there’s a narrow alley between two buildings that opens up to the hotel from lobby area. So if you have luggage make sure you don’t get dropped off at the Main Street. Second, I do wish the rooms had some USB ports for charging. It would make it so much easier.

I have stayed in over 150 properties all over the US and many in Western Europe and there is no place that I love more than the Memmo Principe Real. The location is incredible, the rooms are exquisite, and the view is beautiful. But what makes this my favorite place to visit is not the rooms or the location or the view... It is the people! From the hotel manager to the front desk attendants to the restaurant service, to the house keeping staff - EVERYONE is amazing. We are treated like family and have been since the moment we set foot in this place the very first time we ever visited. When I plan my trips to Lisbon I literally book my whole stay based on the availability of this hotel. I could not imagine staying anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and if you are coming to Lisbon, make sure you stay in Memmo Principe Real.

We had an amazing week at this hotel, the location is perfect, it is at a relatively high area in lisbon, you could catch a view of the whole city from pretty much any room. Almost all the rooms have a small balcony or terrace, the breakfast is great, the service is excellent, they try their best to cater to every need. The staff are perhaps the best part about the hotel! Specifically joaō martin the supervisor, he is the most cheerful and sweetest hotel staff member that we have ever encountered, he made this stay way more enjoyable simply by his presence. The rooms are perhaps a bit small, but this is compensated by an amazing location and staff.

Wonderful location - quiet enough, but just steps away from many restaurants, bars, and places of interest. Amazing views from the rooms and pool deck. Loved that the pool deck was relatively quiet in the afternoons for happy hour. Rooms were well-appointed and clean, even had a small balcony to enjoy the view. Staff were all very friendly.

This hotel has the best service that we have ever received at the hotel. It beat what you get at the Four Seasons. Views like nowhere else. Centrally located. And did I say how top-notch the service was. A unique experience that stands by their unforgettable branding and claims.

We arrived here immediately after getting off the plane and were greeted very kindly and graciously. Upon checking in we were immediately upgraded to a junior suite that was nice and spacious with two washrooms. This level of service and attentiveness was continued throughout our entire two night stay. The view on the terrace was superb and the location in terms proximity to attractions was very good. The only knock I'd give it was the food at its restaurant which was below average. So stay at the Memmo Principe Real and eat at the many restaurants near the hotel.

First off I must say we only stayed one night as our flight out of Lisbon was the next morning. I wished we had the opportunity to stay longer. The staff was professional and gracious. The lunch and dinner recommendations were close by and excellent. The hotel is tucked away off a bustling neighborhood street with amazing views of the city. I look forward to staying again. My favorite line from the staff was “straight away” and they mean it.

Be aware that this hotel is not on solid financial footing and you are taking a risk on losing your reservation and money. They have refused to refund my pandemic reservations because they say they cannot send money to the United States. Apparently they have never heard Wise or any transfer service. I have been trying for two years to get my $2,700 back and now I’m going to have to file a police report, which tourists can do in Portugal.

The hotel is very clean, modern and up to date. However the dining wait staff lacked customer service skills. For some reason they were concerned about us skipping out on the bill so they presented us with the check right as we were seated and had us pay. Even though they had our room number with a valid credit card attached. It was very strange to say the least. They did it all 4 mornings that we dined with them.

A thoroughly fantastic experience. The Memmo team do all they can to provide guests with a charming, understated and memorable stay. I'm particularly fond of the evening Cafe Principe team, who are warm, welcoming, uber creative and industrious to measure. The menu beautifully blends local ingredients with global flavours. I recommend the tapas selection, particularly the Salted Shrimp and Croquets. Drinks are where this team really come alive - working hard to meet the most eclectic tastes and always with fine humour. Rooms are well appointed, with a high standard of comfort. The linens and Hermes bathroom products are a real treat. A stand out hotel, I look forward to returning over the years.
