This place was not easy to find. There is no clear sign. After walking around and asking a number of times we finally found it. The doorbell is not labelled. The place is cramped and dirty. Too many beds in one room. The ceiling is low. When getting up from the bed, you bump your head easily. The beds squeak when turning. The mattresses are uncomfortable. The bathrooms are very cramped. The toilet is about 70 X 70 cm and there is no privacy. There is no place to leave clothes, toiletries or towels. You can't turn as the space is so small. Toilets and shower are separated by a thin plastic folding door. The bathroom had black mold. The drainage was blocked. The floor of the whole hostel was dirty. Slippers are an absolute necessity. There was no soap in the bathroom and toilets. The dustbins were full and did not get emptied. The receptionist was very disinterested. As the space is cramped, the lockers are too small to hold a small suitcase. Suitcases can be left at the reception. There is no water cooker in the kitchen. You need to use the microwave to boil water. There was no towel in the kitchen and toilets. The traffic noise was so bad that we did not sleep. The 'sitting room' had some broken chairs and was uninviting.

Terrible hostel, don't even think of going here. They would agree for your late check-in and then you'll arrive and they will say you that when don't check out after 23:30. Almost left on the street because of that. Great experience.

Bathrooms are so dirty and moldy. No toilet paper. So tiny. Rooms are cramped. Surprisingly clean bed tho. Thank god. Not sure if it s all fake reviews but this is the worst hostel i have ever been in. That is after doing 2 weeks of the caminho in albergues ! Hard to find as well.

This hostel is very friendly! Bathroom and location is good for the price. They have a small kitchen and my room was really cold in that day. In general, I recommend it.

My friend and I tried booking two beds in a shared room through a booking site. When it didn’t work we called the hostel and asked to make the reservation directly through them. The receptionist at that time said the he booked two beds for us in our names. We were unsure about the trustworthiness of the process and asked him to take our emails to send some type of verification of the booking, but he ensured us that he had made a reservation and declined taking further of our contact details. When we arrived at the hostel the same day there wasn’t any reservation made for us and we got told that we wouldn’t be able to stay the night since the place was in fact fully booked. The receptionist hadn’t put us into to the booking system and had quit for the day. Another receptionist working at this time was helpful and directed us to another hostel. Even though everything worked out fine, we can’t help but feel fooled, especially considering that the whole situation could have caused us a serious problem if we wouldn’t have found another place to stay the night.

Diebe herzlich willkommen... Alles in allem: niemals wieder!!!

Not very luxurious but you can find a place to sleep there even in the middle of a night and it has kind and friendly service.

Also unbedingt ein eigenes Bettlaken mitbringen!

The hostel is sinonym for disaster. The toilets are 60x80cm large "boxes" with harmonica dors, full of leftovers from previous users and zero toilet paper. Even if it was there, its forbidden to throw it in. The ceiling is like a muld farm for a cheese factory. Its covered more with mold than actual paint. Showers arent so bad. Its just that they work poorly, as the water is leaking from everywhere, same as faucets. The staff acts to be friendly, but they dont really help much. We got ripped off with a price, which was even higher than we saw on the internet for a 3 bed room (26€/night on web, we payed 28€/night). Stay away from this hostel if you dont want to add a bad hostel to your stayings.

Its ok for a night, if you’re desperate. But i cannot recommend it. The bedrooms are bright and noisy, the bathrooms are small and dirty, the kitchen smells strongly of bleach and chemicals. We had trouble falling asleep here. The bedrooms do not have window shades. City light pours in all night. Also lots of street noise: cars, motos, busses, our first night the dumpsters were emptied at ~01:00. The dumpsters were very loud, woke us up, and we could not fall asleep again until they had finished. Besides the location, we found the other guests to be rude. playing loud music from their phones in the morning, watching tiktoks (aloud) in bed at night. Not sure why, but this hostel didn’t attract good roommates The bathroom was cramped and unclean. The stalls for the toilet are extremely small. You’re not supposed to flush your toilet paper, but the bathroom is so cramped it is difficult to access the trashcan while using the toilet. The toilets had stains and hair on the seats. Water spills out from the shower and pools on the floor. The kitchen was clean, but smelled strongly of bleach and cleaning products. The staff are kind and helpful. No issues with them at all.

Perfect place for your very last choice ! If you need a bed it make the job but skip the showers and even the toilets…

Everything is dirty or broken, the most employees can’t speak English, on my first night I didn’t get a pillow and a blanket. Later in the night I couldn’t get in the hostel because the employee slept and couldn’t open the door. And the worst thing I ask for a damage payment but didn’t get an answer

The only positive thing here is nice staff. I would not reccomend this place to anyone. Nothing more to say, because we kindly got our stay cancelled by the receptionist, and we quickly moved somewhere else.

My favorite hostel in Lisbon! The staff and the owner are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Very cozy and clean place with a nice atmosphere, and a great location. Wifi works great, kitchen has everything you might need, also there are free cookies, water and tea. The bed sheets are very clean, also there’s a socket near every bed, there’s even an iron at the reception if you need one. Located close to the metro station Saldanha, and the reception works 24/7, which for me was also a big advantage. Can totally recommend it to everyone! Thank you for a nice stay!:)

Difficult to find as no signposts etc, had to ring to get info on how to access to building as there was no info as to what floor the hostel was on once I found the building with help from others. The toilets were tiny and there was no hand soap in the bathrooms. The communal areas were not cozy or welcoming- lots of dirty and broken chairs. Kitchen was dirty.
