This smaller boutique hotel has everything: location, luxury, and service. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. For our four-night stay we had a spacious room the top floor with a patio overlooking the central courtyard where breakfast is served. The breakfast buffet had excellent variety and wonderful food. The concierge staff were helpful with good advice. The bar staff were friendly and made great drinks. Although located on the Praça do Comercia, the hotel was very quiet. We would definitely stay her again on our next visit to Lisbon.

The size of my room was fine but the bed was not comfortable at all and there was an unpleasant smell upon entering the room which I complained about and it was fixed.

I had a wonderful stay. The front desk people are all very helpful (from helping me pay for a taxi who didn’t accept credit cards and charging it to my room to printing out my bus ticket). My room was spacious and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The gym is small but functional. Note that the pool was not available during my stay in August 2021. Location is across from Praco Commercial and about 10-15 minutes walking to Barrio Alto or Alfama.

Under average experience, worn down. Filled with cigarettesmoke in corridors and hallway. Room was surprisingly okay, but the bathroom was also worn down. Food was fine and affordable.

Excellent hotel! The staff was very hospitable without being overbearing. Clean comfortable rooms that are right in the heart of the city. Maria who took care of us at the breakfast buffet is the best! She sent us off to our train with some fresh pastel de nata.

Beautiful building in an outstanding location. We were in walking distance of just about anything we wanted to see and do. The staff was very friendly and professional. The reception/concierge staff, Rita, Maŕcio and Diogo were especially helpful. The breakfast had plenty of choices, with many local specialties. Ours was an upgraded room so it was roomy and had many of the amenities you would expect from a finer hotel. The standard room seemed smallish. There was a small pool and exercise area but my favorite was the rooftop relaxing area. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Be very careful here. This photo is what they mean by a "Spectacular view" in their superior room - it was a view of a grey wall. We got a refund and went elsewhere. Handled badly by the manager who tried to argue a postage stamp size window was the description attached. Best advice is to see the room before you buy.

Well appointed hotel in an amazing location right on the Baixa. We got sick while we were staying here (total coincidence—not due to the hotel) and the staff were so kind and really made us feel cared for as we convalesced in our room. For example we tried to rent a movie and encountered an error and the staff went out of their way to contact the vendor whose issue it was and informed us when it had been resolved. The breakfast is also very good and is served in a beautiful palatial dining room.

I do not recommend this hotel at all because of their staff. Receptionist welcomed us very badly I mean we visited here for the first time we asked for some information and receptionist ignored us instead of giving any kind of information. We had a wonderful time at Pousada de Lisboa, Praça do Comércio! The location is right across from a beautiful square, and the water. I feel like it's central to everything: shopping, eating, and you can Uber or taxi anywhere in the city. It was incredibly clean, I felt like the rooms are large, especially by European standards. And the service was on point from check-in all the way through to our check out. They have a great restaurant for steak onsite. I'd stay here again if I come back to Lisbon.

was requesting a full refund for the first night I stayed at the hotel. The room that I got was not as advertised for my booking, but also so noisy I couldn’t sleep at all while I was so tired after my traveling there from US. I wasn’t provided such an essential information that the a/c doesn’t work with an open window! It caused me a night of discomfort. I kept playing with the a/c switch and had to keep the window open because the room was too hot! And the noise from outside was so frustrating! I was confused, tired and in such a discomfort! It’s is supposed to be a five star hotel and I expect a 5 star excellence. Not delivered at all. I wrote several emails asking for a refund for that awful night and I got the final response that it will not be granted. I give them zero stars.

Really enjoyed the stay at this hotel. Wonderful location, super accommodating staff (including early check in, tips for cafes / restaurants, help with reservations), delicious breakfast, great amenities. A steal for its price!

The hotel is a Tardis, much larger than you would expect. Artwork throughout and meticulously maintained. Beautiful with a rooftop area, sheltered with a small number of chairs and tables. Room was smallish but the bed was very comfortable. Larger are available.

One of the finest hotels we have ever stayed. The staff especially Tuna was incredibly helpful. The amenities and location fantastic. The breakfast choices of eggs, cheeses, pastries and fruit plus fresh honey from a hive much more than we expected. You won’t find a better hotel in Lisbon.

This has undoubtedly been the most perfect stay that we have ever had. The rooms are excellent and the staff have unbelievably attentive and kind. We have literally had the most perfect stay in Lisbon and it has certainly been down to this wonderful hotel and staff, especially the Reception manager who has gone above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We really couldn’t recommend this hotel anymore. We will definitely visit again.

Terrific location, friendly knowledgeable staff, Inez and Sonia particularly. Very obliging and always present. Rooms are nice, small but clean and well attended. And quiet. Lovely breakfast buffet and onsite restaurant is good.

Luxurious rooms, brilliant location, amazing service and staff, highly recommended. Valet parking. Navigating to the hotel can be tricky on Google maps but the reward is immense.

The room and common areas were luxurious. The staff was engaging and helpful. The breakfast service was amazing. Then bed was comfortable. What more could you ask for?

Had a great stay! Staff was friendly, nice rooms and facilities. Gym was a bit small but had all of the essentials. Great breakfast spread and a great restaurant for dinner!

The condition of this hotel is very bad, you can see the picture I did not like it at all, I really hate insects and I had to tolerate them in this hotel. Next time I am not going to stay in this hotel at all, here insects spoiled my whole night, insects kept crawling on me at night and my sleep got disturbed.

Felt very bad, my tour of Portugal got ruined, I went to visit Portugal with the whole family and after having fun all day we had to sleep peacefully but because of insects in this hotel our nights were spoiled and it was the worst experience of our tour.
