This hostel worth 0/5. My worst hostel experience ever ! I don't understand some of the good comments they received ! How is it possible to like this hostel ?! The worst hostel I have been in Lisbon, and I have been living in Lisbon since 2019, and I know many hostels. First of all, the pictures don't look like the inside of the hostel. When I arrived, the hostel was creepy, and it smelt really bad (garbages smell). I went to the reception for the check-in in a big room, and some people (they live there I guess) were sitting on couches, staring at me weirdly. I felt I was the show of the day lol. I felt really uncomfortable, and I felt I was not the welcome. At night, I wanted to sleep and people around me were laughing, speaking in a language that I couldn't understand (hindi), and were really rude. I had to tell them to be quiet and switch off the lights at 1am, but they were still making too much noise to sleep correctly. The day after, I decided to leave away from the hostel (even if I had 2 nights booked). I didn't have the time to leave that one of the staff member came to me, and asked me if I was leaving in a weirdly way. I just felt being spied all along my stay (1 night instead of 2). If you are not Indian, you are not the welcome. I won't come back to this hostel even if someone pay me to stay ! Worst place ever. I don't recommend this place, and just stay away from it.

Lisbon Angels Hostel provides service to tourist and local people. Well, it is a very nice place to stay in our vacation. The hostel is located in the city of (Intendente) Lisbon. The rooms are very neat and clean. The Hostel is situated in the 4th Floor. They have both elevator and stairs. We can either ring the bell or call directly to the reception to enter.The Hostel has CCTV cameras installed in the most areas. The Staffs are very attentive and honest. They are very friendly and polite to customers. They can speak English very well. They are very professional and the best in guiding us. This is one of the cheapest Hostel ever. What do you want if you are looking for the low price and good service Hostel. However, they do not accept the payment form Card. In Future, I hope they will pay attention to the drawbacks and improve them in the best way. I strongly suggest tourist to stay here and enjoy your vacation.

"Pathetic" is the only word that come to our mind when thinking about this place. Our modern selfi-stick, ear buds, and phone charger were stolen by the cleaning staff. No air-conditioning. The Nepali lady who is the sister of the owner has a bad attitude of no-support. The owner himself seemed better in support. It is an old and rusty building with no bathrooms attached with rooms. The cleaning staff is rude and non-cooperative. Staying here was no less than a nightmare. Very little value in comparison to money paid.

I stayed here for a few days during winter. It doesn't have heathing so the feeling of staying in any room is not pleasant at all. The bathroom is not clean, as well as kitchen, all of the surfaces were sticky and very dirty. The stay here was not nice and I would not recommend it to anyone, especially during winter.

Room not very clean no air conditioning fan in the room with amount of dust on it like wasn't cleaned for years... TV not working don't be surprised if you will be grated in the bathroom by lovely cockroaches. Sponge in the kitchen would need replacing as it's dirtier than dishes you have to clean. And don't be surprised if at 7am you will be woken up by Police as supposedly they doing some spot check in the city hotels

0/5 . Unprofessional and rude staff, especially the lady at the reception. Low standard accommodation, no air conditioning, no wifi as it's always 'having issues' and they won't bother to get it fixed. The accommodation and service is no way worth the money they charge.

It smelled bad in the toilets, in the rooms. The owner entered the room in the morning around 9am without knocking the door (2 min before I was dressing up and was naked). The toilet rugs I thought were never getting washed. The shower (where it was supposed to hang) was broken and seemed like they didn't mean to fix it. The trash from our room wasn't taken out since 5 days or so. Somehow in general I had the feeling they didn't really care much.

Best place to stay. We came 5 family member and feel like home. We will come back again.

My friends and I are convinced this is the best hostel in the world. The people were so nice and welcoming, and we felt so at home. I think about this hostel every day and smile. 2 of the best nights ever

My worst experience in a Youth Hostel, and I’ve visited quite a few along my travels! We got here at 1:30AM and were told « did you get our email? ». No, we did not but it can happen. Except that for a booking made on July 2nd (and confirmed), we were apparently sent an email on July 20th (24h before our arrival) saying they had overbooked and we got a twin room for the first night and a dorm on the following. What a nice weekend with my boyfriend ... At 2:00 AM, we were on the hunt for a new hotel. In the morning, I sat for 45 minutes at the reception to pay for my night in our cramped room (the one we were supposed to have was much bigger). Finally someone came. Be reassured, we paid the price of a twin room and not for the expected room. And then came the moment to pay. Apparently they couldn’t take credit cards because the machine was down. Trip to the ATM. 3 days here in Lisbon and half a day handling bookings and moving to a different hotel. Splendid start for a trip.

Very gud condition room wifi cleaning everything i like it

the hostel was created in a former 4th floor apartment. so the rooms are small, and only the three street facing ones have some view. sound insulation is very bad, the doors don't keep the noise. the 3 bathrooms are shared, and are not the freshest and cleanest.

The Staff Behavior is too good and Good place for Stay and Budget Friendly spot

I will not give the fourth star because two points: 1) girl’s toilet was not only for girls. And due to wc and bath was in the same room, it was the whole day busy. And not by girls but boys. They have their own bathroom but they user the girl’s one. 2) Noises at the sleeping time. Our room was next to living room and the noises stopped at 12.30 pm... it is difficult to sleep. And many lights coming from ouside. But there is an advice forbidden noise from 10pm to 8am. Positive: All very clean and people from service very nice. There is a place near to have breakfast: capri. So good.

Foul smell in building, noisy and dirty walls and bathrooms. Bed linens were clean at least.

It's good for cheap

The most unpleasant booking experience. Our flight wad delayed, we wrote to the hosts that we would be late and they just canceled our reservation for all 7 days because they did not want to wait for us for half an hour. Unprofessional and rude.
