Wow. This hostel was nothing like it was described on booking.c o m . The beds were horrible and squeaked with every move you made. One particular guest thought it is a good idea to Skype/face time until 3am in the morning keeping us up. I just can't describe how absolutely horrible it was. I mean it's a hostel but still... And the images proof everything. And another rather dodgy thing is that the rooms are used by two hostels. Origami and Gurkhas. Same rooms, same floors but only one of them is listed on booking.c o m but the local charges are processed by Gurkhas... Definitely not recommended. Oh and the image of the breakfast is also absolutely nor true.

I stayed there for one week. Nice location next to the metro station. A bit hard to find in the beginning. Great staff, great service, cheap rooms if you're on a budget like me. You can use the kitchen, the bathrooms, there's free WiFi at a good speed everywhere in the hostel. Overall, great experience and I'd definetely come back and recommend this place to any young traveller who would rather save money on accomodation to spend it elsewhere. One week there cost me around 70€.

A little loudy place, with shared baths. Excellent breakfast and helpfull staff. Not far away from metro and Lisbona downtown.

The rooms are not air conditionned (we were feeling like we were in a oven at night). The room is little. We were woken up every night by the temperature, the other people, the noisy outside environment and even the staff. The sheets and towels are often stained. The included breakfast is really bad. It is ridiculus what they offer as we can eat a complet real breakfast at A padria portugesa for only 2,50 euro. It is not well located. The only good thing is the price of the hotel.

Really? Room without a window, without a wardrobe, even without a single hanger... everytime we came back there was a terrible smell inside the room. Toilet even worse, fungus in the shower. Besides that we heared everything from other rooms. Nightmare, the worse place I have ever been to.

Went with my partner and 1 year old. Clean rooms - nice communal areas - friendly and helpful welcome and tour. On the 2nd floor with no lift. Really enjoyed our stay. Very good price in a fairly central part of the city.

Horrible. Incredibly dirty(there were cigarette buts in our room), breakfast is way below average, everything is just unhygienic.. I don't see how this got any good reviews.

Overall this hostel was not that great. Pros: Staff is very friendly, they speak ok english. Location is very close to the center. 10 min walk downhill. Nearby there are couple of places to eat and one supermarket. Cons: The neighbourhood was not that great. Very suspicious crowd was staying in front of hotel all day long. It is not comfortable to walk late at night. The hostel is kind of old and walls are supper thin so you can hear every single word from the rooms next door. Breakfast was quite poor (cheese, butter, bread, eggs only one morning). You can find better hostels for the similar price or if you only staying for a nigth or two it is ok, but any longer would recommend finding other places.

Everyone in the hostel is so nice and helpful. It is not far from the city centre and It has good public transport nearby. The bathroom is shared but it was always really clean. Good breakfast also. On the other hand the place is a little noisy, maybe because we had the room next to the living room. Guests party a little bit at night.

Near meteo stop, comfortable beds, friendly staff and nice breakfast. But bathrooms are often occupied and no separate toilet available. And place is noisy at night and in the morning.

Bad ist veraltet und schmutzig, Zimmer sind extrem hellhörig. Direkt vor unserem Zimmer war zudem ein Glascontainer. Die Gegend an sich wirkt nicht sehr sicher!

😐 To popular for its own good. It's nice to ride along on a rattling old tram through the narrow streets. But unless you really want to ride it until the end and the cemetery, then save yourself the hassle and the incredible queues. Get the Number 12. It does practically the same route through the old...
